Kandi caught her boyfriend cheating with her best friend. Richard was left at the altar when his fiancé left him for his best friend. Needless to say they are both damaged and not seeking a relationship. That is when you find one. Kandi and Richard are perfect for each other even though they haven't realized it yet. They do finally get their HEA. I highly recommend this book to all romance lovers out there.

The Thin Line Between Love and Hate -
Kandis was still reeling from the betrayal by her ex-boyfriend and ex-best friend, but her other best friend convinced her to go out to a bar, where her night turned into one heck of a pleasurable experience. Richie was a former football player, who was used to women fawning all over him, so he was was shocked when Kandis threw her drink in his face,when he used one of his usual chat up lines.
Unfortunately, what neither one of them realised was, that night was the start of their whirlwind romantic journey, filled with antagonistic, steamy and heartwarming moments, that would not only change their lives, but also help them overcome the pain of their pasts, by opening their hearts up to love and finding happiness together.
This was a really moving story, that dealt with some important life issues and made the story more realistic. If you are looking for a story that will keep you entertained and engrossed for a few hours, then grab a copy of this book, because you will definitely not be disappointed.

A love hate relationship story with a twist.
Kandis is a sassy girl with nothing but love for her loved ones, she walks in on her boyfriend Justin (ex) and her now ex best friend Cali in the act on the night she was planning to lose her V card to him and her other best friend Aria knowing all about it.
With nowhere to go and walking out of her home she made with Justin, with her mum going through her own problems she turns to her grandparents in california for help.
Arriving back to California she's surrounding by old friends she hasn't seen for years. Mila persuades kandis to go on a night out and a hot tall dark stranger (Richie) sits next to her at the bar. The chemistry between Kandis and Richie is through the roof what turns out to being a one night stand into so much more.
I really enjoyed kandis and Riches story poor kandis goes through alot a heartbreak, her mother never being the same since her dad died.

Richard was in the NFL but got injured now he is a business man and he ends up going out to a vineyard in hopes of investing or buying it. He also was engaged but his fiancee never shows up to the altar. Richard ends the night at a bar and meets a woman there she plays hard to get and eventually they leave to his vehicle where they sleep together (this is her 1st time).
Kandis goes to meet her grandparents at a restaurant and their new friend. It ends up being her one night stand Richard. Theres a lot of hate going on in particular on Kandis' part. She doesn't want to lose her grandparents business. There's a pull to each other they can't deny so they end up sleeping together more.

Fantastic story-telling by Vivy Skys! Loved this book SO very much. A retired NFL player, looking to buyout a vineyard comes across one that is more than perfect for him and his business partner. The granddaughter of the owners is in town for a visit. Kandis is protective of her grandparents and their vineyard, and overhears Richie's plan to get it away from them. But the snag is that Richie has already slept with Kandis when he first came to town... he's always trying to get away from women who get clingy, but she's not clingy which leaves him confused, and still determined to get the vineyard. So he threatens to expose that to her grandparents if she doesn't date him... which they seem to want her to do. What's a girl to do?
After we get over the initial bumps early on, this becomes quite the beautiful story. Easy to get pulled into, and you won't want to put it down.

Kandis has broken up with her long-term boyfriend after she found him cheating on her with her best friend in her own bed. She has fled to her grandparents winery to regroup and figure out what to do now. One night she is out with her friends and she meets Richie. They have what should have been a one-night stand. Later she is invited to dinner at her grandparents home and Richie is also an invited guest. Come to find out he's an investor and he is looking to take over the winery, which causes strife in his relationship with Kandis. They take a trip to the mountains where he shows her the real Richie, but he's still set on taking over the winery which basically kills their relationship. Until Kandis finds herself pregnant and Richie realizes that he can't stop thinking about her and doesn't want to do the one thing that will hurt her the most. Can they see their way through their issues to forever, especially with the baby on the way?

This enemies to lovers book is a great read. It easily made me read it in one sitting.
Kandis is just rebounding from a bad breakup where she was betrayed by her boyfriend and best friend. She retreats to her grandparents and the vineyard they own. She has a one-night stand with… you guessed it – the man trying to buy the vineyard.
Richard is also recovering from being burned. As a billionaire he thinks that he can buy anything. This results in them becoming enemies… with a no strings affair. Well, they strings develop as the book progresses… with a little surprise ;D
The writing is smooth and clever. The pace is good and kept me reading to find out the next episode.
A great book to curl up with and enjoy.

Kandis is devastated when she returns home to find the love of her life cheating with her best friend IN HER BED! Vivy Skys does an outstanding writing job in a realistic manner that had me feel Kandis’ pain, hurt, desperation, and need to leave her home. Her grandparents provide her comfort at their vineyard. She decided that the best way to move on was to have a one night stand. It turns out not to be her best decision. Richard has been hurt too and decides he wants to purchase Kandis’ grandparents vineyard. Well, these two have some interesting banter back and forth that kept me reading. These enemies with benefits took me on an interesting adventure. I really liked the flow if the story and how everything ended up.

2.5 stars - that’s being overly generous.
Here’s the thing, make the story good, not just barely ok, and proofread what you have written BEFORE you publish. Some of the errors are laughable.
Examples: (my favorites)
Chapter 24
“It means that since my lease is up at the end of the month, I’ll sell it or sublet it.
Or:
Chapter 25
When we reached a long stretch of dessert highway,
She meant desert highway, by the way. And what Billionaire doesn’t buy his home? Or if he is leasing, doesn’t know he can’t sell what he doesn’t own??
These types of errors detract from the story and make the author sound a bit immature or lacking in basic knowledge. Won’t bother with another from this author.

Kandy Kane and Richard find their way together
This is an easy low angst read. Richard is an ex-football player who is looking for investments. He shows up for an appointment with Kandy’s grandparents and sparks fly. There is a lot of banter between Kandy Kane and Richard. They both are suffering from problematic former partners. There is an unexpected pregnancy. Both Kandy and Richard are happy about being parents. All was going well but the author ended the book at the moment that the couple were en route to the hospital. Why would you not write a few more pages and let us know if the baby was a boy or a girl, before ending this first book? There is an excerpt from the next book in the series.

After the blow up she goes to her grandparents vineyard to recuperate. Along the way, she meets a guy and has a one night stand with only to see him wanting to buy her gparents vineyard. When a surprise comes of the one night stand what will happen next. This enemies/lovers, rebound relationship, drama induced, chemistry enhanced story that will have you reading it at one setting.

Absolutely incredible story with fantastic characters! Kandis 'Kandy' travels to stay with her grandparents at their vineyard after finding her boyfriend cheating on her with one of her friends. When she finally gets there she reunites with her childhood best friend. When they go out she meets Richard, the chemistry between them is too much to deny and they spend an unforgettable night together. What will happen when she finds out he's there to buy her grandparents vineyard? Expect lots of drama, laughter, friendships, family, passion, love and more throughout this completely compelling page turner!.

Kandis is handed the ultimate betrayal when she finds her boyfriend and now ex-best friends in her bed, and she leaves to visit her grandparents. Richie is a grumpy former NFL player, who gets a drink thrown in his face when in a bar and his usual pick up lines do not impress Kandis. These two have a steamy night together, and them Kandis finds out that he is after her family’s, vineyard. This is a well written story which has emotions, romance, challenges, family, friendships, humor, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy page turner.

Well I liked this story and was hooked from the beginning until the end. Kandy finds her boyfriend with her best friend and drives across country to be with her grandparents and try to get over him ,but one night out drinking with a friend ends up with more than she bargain for but will it destroy her in the end? Richard is wanting to buy a small vineyard and comes face to face with his one night stand but will lie to her to get what he wants? Great story and absolutely love the characters.

Hurting, she drove to her grandparents' place and had her virginity taken by a stranger, Richie a serial one-nighter, in his car. In short, the story is entertaining with Richie discovering he's not as tough as he thought with the red-head turned blond Kandis.

This is a steamy enemies to lovers romance between Kandis and billionaire Richard. These two likeable souls and the unique plot make for an entertaining read. It is a sweet love story with drama and steam, sexual tension and chemistry, and twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters to keep the reader interested. An engaging page turner.

"This is the second book, Damaged Billionaire Daddy, by new author Vivy Skys and is just as amazing as her first book! I was pulled in right at the beginning of the story and the connection got stronger as it continued. Watching the ice crack and slowly melt in their hearts brought out the tissues and without giving away the story, pulled me in as if I was part of the book. I cannot wait for her next book!

What better than to read a story about a girl who is trying to save her grandparents wine business from a billionaire who is trying to take it from them. Throw in a bit of love hate and family conflicts and challenges and you get an amazing read!

Twists and turns, loves and hates. Revenge and love altogether. Really a good read. I love pops and him punching Richie. Yeah for the old man! If you love billionaire stories then read this on it will not disapppoint.

This is a great read in a day book. One gruff businessman and one unlucky in love girl and this well-written book fixes everything. Highly recommended
