Behind closed doors at The Scarlet Hotel, anything can happen… even the perfect mistake.

Omega Luke has been unlucky in love. No, unlucky doesn’t properly describe the train wreck that is his dating life. He swears he isn’t picky, but no matter what, he can’t seem to find the right alpha to make his heart go pitter-pat. If only he could find an alpha as patient as his best friend Jeremy, or as kind, funny, handsome… And when he and Jeremy have a little too much fun one night, he finds himself wondering if they could be something more.

Alpha Jeremy has always seen his best friend Luke as just one of the guys. They get along perfectly, and the fact that he’s an omega has never been a problem between them. There’s nothing Jeremy wants more than to see his friend happy, so after making a drunken mistake and crossing a line, he makes it his sole mission in life to find Luke the perfect man… who may or may not be him.

Room 307 is the fifth standalone book in the m/m mpreg romance series, The Scarlet Hotel, from bestselling author Trisha Linde. Each book features a new couple and begins and ends in a different room at The Scarlet Hotel. Room 307 revolves around a hopeless romantic looking for Mr. Right, a cynical alpha who believes he’s all wrong, and the best kind of mistake to open their eyes to the perfect future.

3.5 stars. I absolutely love the concept of this series and I’m slowly making my way through them. This was a best friends to lovers romance which I enjoy. These can all be read as standalones so no worries if reading out of order!

I really liked Luke as a character. I love characters that don’t see how special they really are. Jeremy was great too and I totally see how they fit so well together. My issue was that there was a ton of miscommunication in this story which I’m not a huge fan of. There were many times I wanted to shake them and just get them to tell the truth!

Overall, I enjoyed the story and definitely recommend if you don’t mind miscommunication. I read the blurb for the next book and I’m so excited! It sounds awesome!

Sweet friends to lovers story. Lots of non/miscommunication though. A drunken night between two childhood friends leads to thoughts about the other having regrets, lies to protect their hearts, and an unexpected pregnancy.

It took a while but Jeremy & Luke FINALLY got on the same page. Happy endings all around!

*****
POV… multi first person

Standalone or series… book 5 in series CAN be read as standalone

“I was so tired of pretending everything was normal between us when it clearly wasn’t.”

This book has some really good things going for it. First and foremost are the two main characters. I just adored both Jeremy and Luke. They were both great. I liked their personalities and their lifelong friendship. They were very believable and you could really feel how close they were. I loved how they each truly believed the other was pretty much perfect and went out of their way to demonstrate this to each other. Jeremy especially constantly reminded Luke just how perfect he was, even when Luke didn’t believe it. I also loved how they explained that since their Omega parents were bffs they had been together since birth. As a couple I could totally see how right they were for each other and their chemistry was undeniable.

The writing was also very good. It was well written, clearly carefully edited and had very few grammatical or continuity errors. That’s always a plus in indie books where too often this is not the case.

So why the average review? I’ll explain. First the story itself was simplistic, totally predictable and lacking in any real plot beyond what the blurb says. Two best friends sleep together and then one tries to help the other find the perfect guy. All their problems stem completely from a lack of communication which doesn’t make sense with two men who know each other so well. I kept waiting for a surprise twist or something but it never came.

I think the first and last chapters are there to tie the series together but I found them confusing and out of place. To me they add nothing to the story and just take the focus off the actual characters and plot the book is about.

Since I’ve read a number of Omegaverse books in the past, both mm and mf, I feel pretty familiar with the genre. I’ve never actually read an mm Omegaverse mpreg book where there were women as well. All the mpreg books I’ve read in the past had the male omegas as the ones who have the babies. To me that always made sense. So having an omega man give birth to a female was just odd. I also never heard of omegas getting pregnant when they weren’t in heat or never even having heat cycles. I’m not saying there aren’t any books out there that portray the Omegaverse the way this book did but, as I said, I’ve never seen one and to be honest I didn’t particularly care for either, especially the idea that both male and female omegas can give birth. That’s my opinion but that’s exactly what a review is, so there it is.

This is my first book by this author and I doubt I will read anything else, mostly because of the way she portrayed the Omegaverse world but also because I prefer a little more plot to my books. But for someone who wants something simple and low-angst and who doesn’t care how the world building is, this would probably be a good choice. As I said, the characters are great and so is her writing.

OMG I just wanted to bang their heads together
We are back at the Scarlet hotel and this time we meet Omega Luke who is very unlucky in love. if honest he’s been in love with his best friend for years but He’s never acted on it. Then we have Alpha Jeremy who has never had a relationship because he’s always looked for someone who was like his best friend Luke and that just never happens. So on this night Jeremy has taken Luke to the hotel to have some drinks to help Luke get over his latest fail relationship. They decide drinks would be a good idea and not long they find themselves both very very merry. They decide to spend the night at the hotel rather than try and get an Uber home. But it seems that night there was a passion running deep in both of them and they gave in and had the most magnificent night together . But the next morning it was strained Jeremy knew that he wanted more but when Luke said let’s just put this behind us he quickly agreed but could these to forget about the night they shared?? Could they admit to their feelings or not?
OMG honestly you just wanted to tell these 2 to be honest with each other I felt like banging their heads together it was so obvious that these two made the perfect couple . I was so glad when Jeremy worked out what was really going on and you see this most amazing couple come together. Everybody around them knew that they were perfect for each other both of the parents wanted these 2 to get together they were just scared of losing the friendship if anything went wrong which I can understand. I could not put this book down as soon as I started it very addictive the passion that these to share is just off the charts but what really got me was the connection the connection is so deep these two are unbreakable. Thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Room 307 is book 5 in The Scarlet Hotel series and can be read as a standalone. It wasn’t as smutty as I had thought, but it was a sweet and enjoyable read nonetheless. This book is perfect for when you want a quick to HEA sweet MM romance.

Spice level (1-5): 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Kink level (1-3): ⛓️ Knotting, MM, butt stuff, etc

Luke and Jeremy have been best friends since they were in diapers. When Luke is depressed over being dumped, Jeremy takes him out to drink his sorrows away. Lots of drinks later and one hotel room, and there is no going back from what they’ve done. The next day when Jeremy seems regretful of their night together, Luke tries to bury the feelings that have raised to the surface. Can Luke tell Jeremy his true feelings and can Jeremy admit them?

I would recommend Room 307 to anyone who likes MM alpha/omega romances. Room 307 is not like other omegaverse books that include the pheromones and the lustful craze. For an omegaverse there isn’t as much smut as others. This book does contain male x male spice and male pregnancy. If that’s not your cup of tea, this book may not be for you. If you are curious about MM omegaverse or M-preg books, Room 307 is a good one to start with. It’s a quick read, no triggers, friends to lovers, no degradation, and it’s sweet. For all the MM omegaverse readers that want a sweeter than lustful read this one is for you!

Warning: Reading Room 307 may make you want to get drunk with your crush and see what happens. May make you look at your BFF differently. May make you crave Thanksgiving dinner. Even the leftovers. May make you want to buy baby stuff. May make you want to go to a fancy hotel’s lounge bar. Read responsibly.

Room 307 is the fifth book in Trisha Linde's MM m-preg romances. It is a totally sweet and wonderful story, with equally sweet main characters that just need to open their eyes to see that they are meant to be with each other. This is the perfect book when you just want to sit back and relax, much like I did on a very rainy Sunday morning. Fans of m-preg will surely won't be disappointed, especially those familiar with the Scarlet Hotel series, or any other books by Trisha Linde.

Room 307 is a wonder best friends to lovers story that shows that sometimes the thing (or the person you need) is right in front of you, if only you open your eyes. The main characters are Luke and Jeremy, long time best friends. Jeremy is an alpha and has been perennially single, while Luke is an omega who has been looking for Mr Right in all the wrong places. A drunken night with his best friend changes everything. Luke is a kind to a fault type guy, while Jeremy is essentially a gentle giant with the biggest heart, especially when it comes to his best friend.

This book left me with such happy and fuzzy feelings I can't say anything else except that I love it.

did the job of being cutie and getting my mind off miserable things! they were sweetie i overlooked the many instances of odd lines and unbelievable instances. if u can count luke's ribs and his vertebrae he is EMACIATED and needs to hit the HOSPITAL because that is not normal and the baby might be KILLING HIM? like magically he becomes okay? and they fuck like i swear maybe a day after this. girl what. okay. we have no idea how anything works i guess. but truly its so sweetie theyre cute i prommy

also everyone STOP using acronyms until you can define the word i keep seeing it and its PISSING ME OFF. ocd champ makes no fucking sense i never want to hear ocd come out of ur mouth and especially in regards to making labor&delivery ur bitch. i also, while they were having fun with their daughter, was musing over post partum depression in omegaverse. god i wish. pregnancy is so sunshine and rainbows in these things pregnancy is one of the scariest things in the world like every single woman i know is freaked out by it even if they want children. mary shelley is the only person who gets the true nature of mpreg by giving victor frankenstein such an intense bout of mpostpartum depression that spans the entire novel. the rest of u catch up for real.

This is the 5th book in The Scarlet Hotel series and can be enjoyed as a standalone. This is the story of Luke and Jeremy. It is a sweet romance with next to no angst. Luke is an omega who is searching for an alpha who can live up to the standards his best friend has set. No one is able to do so. Jeremy is an alpha who believes that his best friend Luke is constantly choosing alphas who are not worthy of him. He himself hasn't found his forever omega because he would rather spend time with his best friend Luke. This is their story. One night while Luke is drowning his sorrows with Jeremy over yet another failed relationship they end up spending the night together. This changes their relationship forever. While sweet and fluffy, I found it a bit difficult to accept how childish they treated each other. Instead of treating the other as an adult. Once all the miscommunication gets sorted out, the two of them manage to find their HEA. This is a cute story that is quick to read. I look forward to the next one in the series.

Room 307 is part of the Red Hotel series and concerns best friends Omega Luke and Alpha Jeremy. Jeremy takes Luke out to cheer him up following getting dumped by his boyfriend. Cheering him up leads to both of them getting drunk and taking a hotel room to sleep it off. One thing leads to another and they both have to try to put behind them the hot night they spent together. They do not talk to each other about what happened even when the consequences cannot be denied. As this is a story with a happy ever after things eventually sort themselves out.

This is a very well written stand alone story with a continuing story about the Red Hotel staff tagged on at the start and the end. I really wanted the two guys to get their act together and be honest about their feelings. It was a joyous moment when they did. Mind you I would willingly forgo knowing about the supposed joys of male pregnancy but not the romantic tale of Luke and Jeremy finding each other.

I want to start by saying I really enjoy friends to lovers stories, and that's what this one consisted of.

Luke is an Omega who really wants to find his prince charming, he wants to find an alpha who will love and support him, and Luke wants to start a family, but all he keeps finding are frogs!

Jeremy is Luke's best friend, they grew up together and know a lot about one another. After yet another failed relationship Jeremy tries to cheer Luke up with a night out. But that might changed their relationship in a way neither of them expected.

This story was really cute! I've really enjoyed the books in this series because the characters are always great. As is the writing. Communication is key, and these two men kept missing that memo, but they got there in the end.

I really hope Tanner gets his own story at some point, he deserves his happily ever after too!

After being dumped again, Luke (an omega) just wants to find an alpha who is patient, kind, funny, and handsome, like his best friend Jeremy (an alpha). They have remained only friends since they were young. Jeremy wants to see his best friend happy. To cheer Luke up, he takes him to The Scarlet Hotel for drinks and food. They end up crossing the line after too many drinks and too much fun. Luke wonders if there could be more. Jeremy feels he needs to find Luke the perfect alpha who may not be him. The night may have been a mistake, but things are about to change for both of them. They have to figure out what happens next.

Room 307 is the 5th book in The Scarlet Hotel series. It can be read as a standalone. Super cute, quick read with low angst. I really enjoyed reading this book. I recommend this book if you enjoy reading best friends to lovers, MPreg, MM, and some spicy scenes.

Luke and Jeremy have been best friends since childhood. Luke has just broken up with his boyfriend and Jeremy took him out to help keep his mind off of it. Jeremy decides to help Luke look for the perfect mate but doesn't like any of the alphas that approach him. The two have one stand and started noticing each other. Luke meets the perfect mate but soon realizes that he is pregnant with Jeremy's baby. Everyone around them can see the attraction and love that they have for each other but they don't. The two lie about their love life and Luke doesn't tell Jeremy that he is the father of his child. The book is sweet, romantic, and funny, with some angst, and their sexy times are hot. I've enjoyed this book and this series. Each book has a different perspective and how these omegas and alphas meet their mates and the family and friends are so supportive. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.

Luke and Jeremy are best friends who know each other very well and tell each other everything - well, except for their genuine, romantic feelings towards each other *eye roll. However, once they finally got their relationship worked out and admitted their love, things became much simpler and they got to have a sweet HEA.
Luke has some self esteem issues, but Jeremy, being his usual supportive self, does his best to make Luke see how great he really is. Their friendship takes a surprising turn after one drunken night together, and despite it being better than either one has ever imagined, they both go into denial, not speaking about it, then they try to remain just friends, and it ends up causing some angst for both of them.
This is a quick read, has low angst with a dash of spice, two clueless best friends who eventually get it right, and end up with a sweet baby and HEA.

Best friends and secret love

This is on a par with Sab and Decker's story in Room 1016. That was head and shoulders above the others and now Luke and Jeremy are up there too.
Best friends since birth, families very close, they were the perfect match for each other. Luke seemed to know that he loved Jeremy, who was a bit more oblivious at the start of the book, but one night in Room 307 changed everything, and not for the better at first. Communicating is a wonderful thing, if only these had two idiots got out of their heads and actually admitted how they felt.
I loved Luke but wanted to slap Jer for most of the story, just because he was the one who really put a lid on his feelings and what happened in Room 307. That's not to say I didn't like him but he should have stepped up as the alpha and told Luke what was going on in his head.
The story was nicely written, with the families being fun, and the HEA was sweet. Now I want a story for Tanner, bless his heart.

I just loved Room 307: A contemporary m/m mpreg romance The Scarlet Hotel. Jeremy and Luke have been best friends since birth pretty much. After a drunken hook up their relationship is strained. Jeremy signs up Luke for a dating app so try and find him an Alpha. Luke ends up dating his neighbor but there just isn’t a connection and when alike realizes he’s pregnant with a Jeremy’s baby it kind of ends the relationship. Unfortunately, Jeremy assumes the baby is The boyfriends and tells Luke he’s seeing someone. So Luke doesn’t tell him about the baby. These two characters are awesome. I just loved them. I loved this storyline and I was very happy with the ending. This is a great series and I would definitely recommend this book.

Luke and Jeremy's Story . . .

Omega Luke and Alpha Jeremy have been best friends most of their lives. So when Luke suffers a break-up, Jeremy is happy to take him out to drink the pain away. Unfortunately (or not), they both overindulged and unintentionally end up together in a hotel room. Luke would have gladly pursued what they started, but Jeremy seemed uncomfortable about what happened, so Luke doesn’t say anything. Will one of them finally decide to talk about how they really feel? Will they take a chance that maybe they both want this relationship that could never harm their long-term friendship but only promises to enhance it? Because soon, a little complication might make a firm decision -- one way or the other - necessary. A bit of conversation to clear up all those misunderstandings would go a long way for these two!

Luke has never felt lucky in love. Hurt over and over again by Alpha’s who never stay, he is left wondering if he will ever find an Alpha who is as patient as his best friend, Jeremy. When things between Luke and Jeremy heat up one night, he is left wondering if the Alpha for him has been right beside him all along. Jeremy has always seen Luke as his best friend. The fact that he is an Omega has never come into the equation. A one night stand between them has him looking at Luke in a completely new light. Wanting nothing more than to finally see Luke happy after seeing him so low, he sets out to find the perfect Alpha for the sassy Omega. What happens when the options slowly dwindle and his name is the only one left on the list?

I liked Room 307 by Trisha Linde. It's the fifth book in The Scarlet Hotel series. I enjoyed Luke and Jeremy's story. I wish the room number was mentioned as Luke and Jeremy drunkenly try to enter their room. It seemed like a missed opportunity to tie the book title to the story. Without the room number, they could have been in any room at the hotel. I liked Luke and Jeremy's chemistry and how they were best friends and grew up together, and how neither realized that their relationships never worked out because they would compare their dates to each other.

This was a sweet, knotty romance that I enjoyed reading. I enjoyed getting to know the characters. Luke was so sweet and endearing and Jeremy was protective, patient, and tenderhearted. I am looking forward to reading more of this series. It was obvious that they had secret feelings for each other and it was just a matter of time that once they found out the truth that they would fall for each other completely. The MC’s had great chemistry and a genuine connection. The story was funny and very interesting. I am looking forward to reading more of this series.

This is a great story to read! This is the fifth book in the series. This book has its own main characters and are in a different room. This is Luke and Jeremy's story. Omega Luke has been best friends with Alpha Jeremy for a long time. Luke has had problems finding the perfect alpha. Luke is using Jeremy and a base to find the perfect alpha. Jeremy is trying to help Luke find the perfect mate. Luke and Jeremy spend the night in room 307. What will the future bring for Luke and Jeremy????? Will Luke find his Alpha?????.

This is my favorite series by Trisha Linde. The stories are all pretty low angst and the romances are sweet (plus a decent helping of spice). Room 307 was a classic friends-to-lovers story between the two MCs Luke and Jeremy. With a couple pairs of nosy parents, constant miscommunication and missed opportunities, and then, the cherry on top, an unexpexted pregnancy, Room 307 was a page turner that I finished just couldn't put down!.

Luke and Jeremy are childhood friends. Always therefore one another. Even through break ups. A few too many drinks and time at a hotel, Jeremy feels some regret afterwards.
When throwing it all away isn't an option, can they work through the misunderstandings and give it a real try? Sometimes life can make the decision for you.

Another fabulous addition. To The Scarlet Hotel Series. Although each book focuses on a different couple, the hotel and its staff are the continuing parts of these storylines.

Sometimes, it's hard to see what is right in front of you. Luke, can't seem to get his romantic life right. He wish he could find an Alpha as great as his best friend, Jeremy. Alpha Jeremy sees Luke as just one of the guys. They accidentally share a moment and then Jeremy makes it his mission, to find Luke the perfect man. Waiting for them to notice the obvious is half the fun. Luke and Jeremy are absolutely adorable. Sweet story, fun story. Well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

You are a catch, you hear me? You have the luxury to be picky.”

I enjoyed this book. I really loved both omega Luke and alpha Jeremy. They'd been best friends their whole lives and they had such a strong bond. I loved the scene of Jeremy trying to be Luke's wingman and sending away all the interested alphas for silly reasons. I thought they were really sweet together. But after they spend a drunken night together, both will need a little help realizing how perfect they are for each other. A fun read. 4 stars

Jeremy and Adam, alpha and omega respectively, have been good friends for years and that's it. Until one night and some alcohol when Jeremy is trying to cheer Adam up ends in them going places that they have not gone before. The Scarlet hotel is the scene of lots of unexpected love. In this case friends become more. I continue to enjoy these stories.

Enjoyable read, didn't feel it was as strong as the others in the series but still enjoyed reading.

Just felt Jeremy was less alpha more spoilt, but still rooting for him to get with Luke. I do hope we get a story about Tanner as I really liked his character.

From best friends to lovers and then confusion. Luke and Jeremy have been best friends forever until one drunken night. Both being scared of what that night may have meant, they avoided the topic. There were more misunderstandings but they were ultimately meant for each other. It was a cute story.
