Wow, I keep enjoying this so much! I have to say that I probably enjoyed the action part and Chishiya's plan a bit more in the adaptation but still so much fun.
I have to say that I was blown away by the fact that the adaptation Niragi looks like he jumped out of the manga pages. The actor did so well! And the thing is when you google the actor, Dori Sakurada, you would never believe that's him!
I really like that more characters are given space to have more development, really hope to see more of An!

Volumen muy interesante en el que ya conocemos mucho mas como funciona este mundo y sus reglas y ya tenemos a todos los personajes principales en acción.
Sinopsis: Siguiendo el último consejo de Karube, Alice alimenta su cerebro y encuentra la famosa "playa". Pero la realidad lo está traumatizando: la playa es en realidad un infierno en la tierra, donde los estúpidos secuaces se matan entre sí para recuperar las cartas que permitirán, teóricamente, a su líder abandonar Borderland. Alice está atrapada. La única esperanza de cambio se
llama... ¡revolución!

Alice in Borderland Volume 4 takes the reader to a new utopia, the Beach. This volume mainly dealt with how the Beach operates, who's who and a bit of action towards the ending chapters. However, there was some sort of character development for Arisu. Plus, one gets a glimpse into what is coming next.

Ok, me gustó mucho este tomo.
La playa, el sombrerero, Kuina y Chishiya, me encanta, aunque el sistema de la playa es muyyy turbio y al no tener esperanzas, confian en alguien que dice cosas, pero no hay fundamentos que confirmen las cosas que dice, me refiero al sombrerero.

Como llegamos los humanos a confiar en alguien al azar que da esperanzas cuando creemos perderlo todo.

Arisu, mi amor, Usagi, reina mía.
Los veo en el siguiente tomo.

Amo que Arisu hace todo por Usagi y solo por Usagi.

Este tomo me ha servido para descansar un poco de todo lo que había ido sucediendo en los anteriores. Estoy sufriendo muchísimo por Arisu porque veo que vamos a sufrir bastante... Y ya se sabe que después de la tormenta...

The story continues after the developments of the previous volume as Arisu searches for the Beach. The supposed only hope of getting out.

The series continues to be very good and keeps you guessing. The twists are nοt predictable and I enjoy reading it. It's cliffhanger endings also make you want to keep reading.

We meet a lot of new characters here that most are interesting and have something to offer.
Usagi not being one of them yet and I wonder where will they take her character.

Highly recommended to thrill-seeking readers!

Awesome volume! Way more intense than the show. I like the mc a bit more in the manga. In my opinion, Chishiya Shuntaro is the one charater that is perfect in the manga, show as well as the OVA version. I'm glad that things are moving pretty quickly and they are not dragging the beach arc much.

This volume played with some cool ideas. The Beach is a very interesting exploration of Borderland's rules and the characters there are all very cool. Arisu and Usagi have a great dynamic, and I really hope Usagi makes it to the end of the series. The ending to this volume got me worried, though. Now I've gotta wait until September. 😕

Kuina is finally here! Arisu and Usagi have found “The Beach”, but it didn’t end up giving them the answer they wanted. A revolution is underway, and it’s not for the better. Chishiya has betrayed the duo, and they are now in great trouble: Arisu’s visa is about to expire and Usagi is about to be assaulted sexually.

The last thing Karube told Arisu was to look for the beach. He gets a lead when he notices that certain groups of players are wearing identical keys on their wrists. Arisu and Yuzuha follow the groups to a hotel resort they call the Beach. There are several people there enjoying the down time between games. Their leader is a man named Danma Takeru or 'Hatter'. Their success comes from organizing effective teams that can tackle any game more successfully.

Hatter believes he knows how to escape the Borderlards - by collecting a full deck of cards. Unfortunately only one person can escape - the one with the top number - in this moment, his. The cards are gathered from every member of the Beach club.

There is a balance in the Beach club between the more intelectually-oriented side led by Hatter and the physically-oriented militant faction led by Agni Morizono. Arisu takes advantage of their animosity to try to ensure his safety. Chisiya shares with him a plan with a big payoff if successful - to remove the people higher up in the hierarchy and become number 1 who will then be able to leave the Borderlands.

The bodies of Hatter and one of his lieutenants makes it obvious to the higher ups that a revolution is coming. Arisu goes ahead with Chisiya's plan to steal the cards from number 1's safe, but he is found out. Instead of killing him outright, Morizono's crew decide to tie him up blindfolded in a room so he can live his final moments in agonizing terror, not knowing when his visa expires. Usagi considers saving him, but she is treated as his accomplice.

Come from Netflix series because I can't wait for ss2! Finished the whole manga within a few days and it was such a pleasure experience

The idea is briliant, still haven't wrapped my head around how the author was able to come up with such awesome and meaningful story like that. It really makes me question my true identity on the verge of death, when I have to make choices that I bet my life on. I think I'll never know who I really am

I like all the characters. It's a shame that the 2 best friends of Arisu die too soon. I wanted to see them more in the story, but like the story said at some point, their deaths are " necessary evil" for Arisu to mature.
Shibuki was a calculating person and will do anything to hold on to her life. I cried when she smiles and embraces Chunta during her last few seconds of the hide and seek game. It's like she finally accepts her fate that she is about to die. It was such a hard moment for Shibuki to let go considering what she did in the past, but she did it, and at least she was happy in her last moment

هنا بدأ الحشو والفيللر أو أيا يكن مسماه في المانجا الياباني ، احنا المفروض في أرض مش عارفين دخلناها ليه ولا ازاي ولا مين مصمم الألعاب الدموية ولا ليه البني آدم مطلوب منه يلعب ألعاب مميتة ويقتل ويرتكب كل الموبقات اللي في الدنيا وبدل ما نستغل إنه في براح اسبوع او 10 ايام بنلجا لقصة جانبية متمثلة في فندق وفي شباب وبنات لابسين مايوهات وبيحتفلوا ومقضينها وعندهم معلومة إنه اللي يجمع ورق الكوتشينة كله يخرج من اللعبة ، مش هنكر إنه كان في تفاصيل كويسة مش كلها حشو بس الفكرة نفسها سيئة ، استكشاف العالم نفسه كان هيبقي أولي بكتير من اللي بيعملوه بدل مادخلتنا في قصة فرعية جوه القصة الاساسية وعالم جديد بقوانين مختلفة وصراعات داخلية بين افراده ، اللي مكنتش وحشة بس يعني لو اختصرت كان هيبقي افضل ، وطبعا هما في اليابان وثنيين فالمؤلف طبيعي يبقي خياله رامي إنه بشر هيموتوا فيعملوا ايه في آخر أيامهم ؟؟ هيعربدوا طبعا ويرتكبوا كل خطايا الدنيا أكيد مش هيتوبوا ولا هيتدينوا مثلا ، بس السخيف هنا انه رغم إنه فيهم أذكياء كتير مش بيدوروا علي خروج قد مابيدوروا علي لعب ومتع ، القصة حلو وادينا مكملين معاه

Ah yes, the beach! All the chaos and rivalries seen at the beach in the Netflix adaption are just as present here. Enjoying seeing Chishiya, Ann, and Kuina starting to play a larger role. We also get to see the Four of Diamonds challenge in this volume (was similar to the Netflix version, but had different participants). Word of warning, this volume ends on a major cliffhanger. Look forward to seeing The Beach revisited in volume 5. 5/5

¿Cómo es que apenas voy en el tomo 4 y ya pasó todo esto? Pensé que sería hasta el 8 o 10, lo que significa que hay muchísimas cosas que no he visto y que estoy emocionada por hacerlo.
Ahora, aquí Chisiya creo que es aún más maquiavélico pero me encanta (a pesar de su diseño). Aunque siento que todo está pasando demasiado rápido, no lo siento del todo abrumador.

- De har nu kommit fram till the Beach, de är fast där och dömda till att skaffa kort till ledarna genom att spela Games tills de dör.
- The Hatter dog, Arisu blev förråd av han med hoodien och nu har allt börjat falla sönder. Ett spel är på gång att börja som inkluderar alla på the Beach. Det här kommer troligtvis sluta med ett massmord, som i serien.

Adaptasi dramanya sama kerennya dengan manganya. Apa karena nonton dramanya duluan, ya? Tapi yang Sweet Home, kayaknya saya lebih suka manhwanya daripada versi live actionnya. Tapi entahlah kita lihat nanti tamatnya gimana.

finally we've entered the beach, and it's just as compelling as it was onscreen. another positive is that i definitely prefer the changes made in the adaptation as i think they serve more for the story, but ultimately they hold up on their own in the manga as well. i'm definitely buzzing with excitement to get to new content!

C'est assez différent ce qui avait été présenté auparavant et franchement pourquoi pas ! Je regrette pas mal la tension et l'action des plus gros jeux mais l'ajout d'autant d'antagonistes à l'addiction ajoute de la valeur et les stratégies sont de mises. De plus, l'ajout d'une possible utopie dans cet univers dystopique souligne le manque d'équilibre volontaire du tout.

When I watched the show I first thought Arisu’s friends were part of the main cast and that the Hatter would be one of the antagonists but I wasn’t expecting them to die so early on in the series.
