My first Ashantay Keys novel, and I can already tell that I want to read more. Mr. Outlaw was not to be toyed with; he exuded masculine energy, and had a dog named Nigga🤣🤣. I admired his pov directness. He helped Henna. Without understanding a thing about Henna or Eden, Sebastian merely assumed responsibility and took care of them.

The One and not the Two 😉!!! This story gave all the feels! Y’all know I’m a sucker for books with kids and we got a whittle baby in this one🥰🥰! Henna suffered through an abusive relationship for years and no longer able to endure the physical and emotional pain, she packed up what she could and fled Memphis in the middle of the night with her 7 week old baby and headed west.
Sebastian was out late during one of his insomnia ridden nights and after driving the streets of LA in one of his luxury taxi’s he had no idea that the woman waiting for a ride near the bus stop would change his life and his heart forever!
I loved the way Sebastian stepped up when it came to Henna and Eden! He poured into them from a cup that was clearly overflowing! This book is an example of what a REAL man can provide when he has his shît together. He was a provider and protector in every sense of the words! Henna, sis, you struck gold with that one! I also loved the cameo we got from Aziz and Diamond 🥰🥰 (Check out their story in “Breadcrumbs”) Ashantay delivered per usual!

A knight in a Shining Purple Cutlass
Sebastian is the ish dreams are made of. A knight in shining armor, a purple cutlass to be exact, riding out to save a damsel in distress along with her newborn baby. He was everything you could want in a man. A protector, a provider and a savior, his name should have been Hero. Henna was all alone in the world, losing her brother to drugs and then her parents one by one as a result of their broken hearts. Henna’s ex and baby’s daddy Murk, took advantage of her innocence and naïveté. Isolating her and physically abusing her. When she gets the courage to leave, she flees Memphis and ends up in California with little money and no place to go. This was an insta-love story and Henna didn’t have to do much to gain Sebastian’s attention or affection. A good insta-love short to devour in between the longer reads.

Was expecting expecting more but still a good time! 3.5/4⭐️!
This novella just left me wanting something more. I did love the love between Henna and Bash but idk. I feel like because of their insta-love and her situation that this story was too short and needed more time with them getting to know each other. Bash came off super strong in the beginning with some of his flirting that I feel would’ve made more sense if they had been in close proximity longer than a day. I don’t think this story was for me but I still plan to check out more from this author.

Sebastian, in all his BDE glory, was everything. He stepped up and became everything Henna needed. (Loved her name). Her friend, her protector, her lover, and so much more. I love how fast he fell for her and her daughter.
It was comical how pathetic Murk and Bully were. Just plain sad and pathetic. But this was a cute, extremely short read.

Henna finds real love
Oh I didn't get enough of Sebastian and Henna, loved her name!
Sebastian was a good man. He was about his business and his family. He was immediately drawn to Henna before realizing she had a baby. I loved that he didn't shy away from helping her with sweet Eden. He was all in and loved her unabashedly. I'm always a sucker for a man that loves and protects the kids. Sebastian knew that Henna was running from her past, but he vowed to keep them safe. When the time came he did just that.
The story progressed quickly because it is a novella, but I wished we got a little more time with these two.
sn: I know sis was new to the phone scene, but I know she didn't think all that Facebook tagging was smart😑.

Fu**in’ Wit Me is a novella story about an entrepreneur that takes in a stranger and her newborn, subsequently falling in love with her. Sebastian is such a man…! The way he took charge and protected Henna and baby Eden was nothing short of amazing. There’s something about a man that speaks affirmations and life into a woman that does it for me. Sebastian checks off every box: he’s got BDE, he’s caring, dominant, and not above getting his hands dirty if needed. I felt for Henna and the situation she found herself and her infant in. Her ex wasn’t it and deserved everything he got. When Plies said, “I introduced her to real and now she hate lames.” He was definitely describing Bash. I really enjoyed this story. I loved the close proximity, the gentleness and vulnerability of the characters, and the sweet lovings. This was a good read for me!

This was a cute short read about black love, which I love.
Hen finding her other person was great to see after what she went through. I was upset at her for being careless about her location, but I understand her having they freedom now and taking advantage. Plus, she was a strong woman who moved across states to get away. She was also a good mom, even to her dogs.
Sebastian. I think every woman wants a man like him. Of course, in real life, most women wouldn't get into a car with a man, but he is what every man should be like. He took on the father role and didn't have to. Not to mention, he took care of a family he didn't know. I ❤️ Sebastian and his family.
I would have liked to see Murk and Bully get delt with more. They really were in over their heads and thought they were intimidating someone 🤣. They found out the hard way.
But, I liked this book. I gave a beautiful happily ever after, and I do hope to see the Outlaws, more specifically Tristan!

A Quick Foundation
Sebastian delivered the title of this book. He was the man that Henna and Eden needed in their lives. He took them in without any hesitation. He also gravitated to Eden quickly. Eden knew that Sebastian was going to be her father. She wrapped him around her little fingers as soon as he quieted her the first time. Henna deserved a real man like Sebastian because Murk was still a little boy. Murk was childish, wanted control, and to be able to manipulate Henna. Henna made the right moves to start her life over. She may not have everything she needed however she did have the basics. She had just enough to start a foundation with Sebastian.
This is a fast-paced novella. Their love bloomed expeditiously. I enjoyed getting to know the characters. However, I wanted more depth in certain parts. Alright now Ashantay! I knew that Sebastian was going to be the ish, driving a Cutless as a taxi! There had to be a story there!😂 Sebastian seeing Henna that night was fate! Their attraction was immediate, and you knew that them coupling would sure follow! I loved how Sebastian just took charge, protected and cared for Henna and Eden, without knowing a damn thing about them! Now that is a man honey! ❤ Henna quickly got on board, as this sexy man was willing to help her in her time of need. Poor Murk! Thought he was gangsta huh? Oh well! 😂 Hope to see this couple again in a longer read. Enjoyed this! 👍👍👍

Finding love in a taxi
Sebastian was all about Henna and Eden, this was a quick read I will say but it still kept my attention from start to finish. Henna poor thang went thru it with Murk, he was no good. But when you with a real man you see how you should be treated and Sebastian did just that. Murk and his brother Bully were BOTH something special 🤦🏾♀️. You have to be careful running up to someone else’s house trying to act bad and BAM look what happen 🤣. I know I am not the only who hollered and the dog’s name 🤣 it caught me off guard for a second and I love it! Sebastian’s parents especially his mother was so freaking cute. I enjoyed reading how they took to Henna and Eden.

GOOD READ
I enjoyed this story. Henna was escaping a bad situation in order to protect her daughter and her chance encounter with Outlaw came at the perfect time. I liked Outlaw, he was about his business, family and immediately was seeking to add Henna and Eden to that equation. I loved how protective he was of them. Their journey was fast paced but when that instant attraction hits why put a timeline on how far things will go. Murk played himself and didn't have a chance going up against Outlaw. Glad Henna and Outlaw got their happy ending.

Fckn Wit Me was sooo good! The character development and plot was everything. Sebastian was my favorite and Henna as well. I loved Sebastian’s connection with Eden. The sex scenes were pretty steamy and their connection was too cute. Murk got what he deserved and I hope we get to see more of this couple in Ashantay’s books. She didn’t disappoint with this story here.

This couple was cute and I loved their connection. Sebastian stepped in and offered Henna safety and security in a time where she needed it most. Their relationship seemed to flow organically and I loved how his family embraced her and Eden immediately.

This was a quick love story. The couple wasted no time getting to know each other. The meeting and courtship happened so fast. Henna’s ex was a clown. The scenes with him felt like a bad low budget movie. Sebastian was a very attractive leading man. He was mature, responsible, and respectful. He really saved the book. There wasn’t much substance outside of him. This was another instance where I was drawn in by a beautiful cover. Once again I liked the cover more than the actual story.

Instant For Two please
This was very much an insta love as stated. They met and were in love a few days later 🫣. Now I actually liked Sebastian he gave all the feels of a big teddy bear, definitely no rough around the edges. He was just waiting on the right lady to come along. I’m happy Henna was able to escape and allowed herself to be loved by Sebastian and his family.
I was stuck with my rating being between 2.5-3 stars.

THE GRASS IS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE!!!
Henna made the best decision she could after being in such violent relationship with Murk!! Goodbye Memphis and hello LA! Trying to live a new life broke and with nothing, is not going to cut it so when this fine brother offers her a ride she hesitates but he, Sebastian is patient, fine, great entrepreneur and has an identical twin Tristian. With a lot of love, affirming this new friendship, slowly moving into love Sebastian gives Henna and baby Eden a new lease on life; however, lurking in the shadows is Murk! While life is good, Sebastian introduces Henna to his family and they all are in love. Henna finally gets a cell and social media will get you every time and when Murk and his brother Bully come to LA and it’s not the brightest thing to do! Moving forward with who and how but a beautiful story it is!!! Loved it!

A little too insta-love for me.
I enjoyed a characters and I appreciate when an author gives us good rounded ones in a novella. Sebastian’s family was a great addition to this small story. They knew he was in love and I like that they recognized that.
For me, the insta-love was a bit too fast and with a new baby, it was a lot. That’s just a personal thing.
The hot scenes were certainly hot and if you want a fast read or a good palate cleanser between books, this is it. I always have multiple books going on. I need variety and this one hit.

Ashanti Keys, good read. Henna had no idea where or what she was doing, what she did know was she needed her freedom. Short, sweet and to the point.
Definitely a love at first site, romantic read. A battered women who gets away with her child, finds herself in a new city runs into a man who had his own demons to deal with. Although we didn’t get the back story on Sebastian, we saw him as a loving, caring man who knew how to please a woman. Short, well written story that was well worth reading.
