Sam Rainer serves as president of Church Answers. He is the co-founder of Rainer Publishing, and he also serves as lead pastor at West Bradenton Baptist Church in Southwest Florida. Sam has written hundreds of articles for several publications. He is a frequent conference speaker on church health issues. Sam holds a BS in Finance and Marketing from the University of South Carolina, an MA in Missiology from Southern Seminary, and a PhD in Leadership Studies at Dallas Baptist University.

More people are desiring personal experiences and loving communities. Christians are called to share God's love with the world, especially within their own communities. There are challenges at helping a congregation open up to a diverse community, but it is our calling in Christ and He will bless our efforts. God has a good plan for each one of his people and each one of his churches. We are uniquely positioned to help our neighbors. God bless our work in Jesus' name.

Very practical and easy read book. Any local church that is in a neighborhood whether be from purchasing, building, or already existing there. The reason why it’s not 5stars is that I sense this book was a half baked book. Nonetheless, I will recommend and do some more searching for books about neighborhood churches to reach those around them.

Excellent and helpful. Some good practical ideas, and exhortations to assist the reader's mindset toward outward neighborhood evangelism. I pastor a small neighborhood church, and I intend to implement some of these ideas in my own ministry.
