Great story. Very dark, mafia drama. Brogan is scary, a psychopath who has become lost to the dark side of himself. Mallory is trying to escape her family roots, but realises to late she never had a chance at a normal life. Through fate, they find themselves trapped together for two days in a cabin in a snowstorm. It turns into a tryst that surprises them both, then reality intrudes. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

'King of Depravity' is the fourth book in Piper Stone's "Kings of Corruption" series and this one is as exciting as each of the previous books in the series. Mallory has grown up as a Mafia Princess, locked in the tower until it comes time for her to marry. She knows he has to get away before that happens. Brogan has had several losses in his family and the pressure is on. He just needs a break. What are the odds these two meet up in a completely unrelated location, have sparks fly so hot they could catch fire, only to learn they are the recipients of their family's plotting? Excitement, twists, and turns abound in this storyline causing me to read it in one sitting.

King of Depravity is a standalone full-length novel which is the fourth entry in the Kings of Corruption series. There's no cheating or cliffhanger and its complete with a oh so satisfying happily-ever-after. It's smartly crafted with complex characters and twisty storyline driven by revenge that grabs your attention from the prologue and keeps you hooked, invested and turning pages with it's pulse-pounding action and rollercoaster ride of cat and mouse chase and guessing game all the way until the mind-blowing conclusion. He rented a cabin in Colorado while there he met woman who saved his puppy and their connection was instant. They got snowed into the cabin for three day where he dominated her body and the submitted to him. Mallory Montgomery is pampered mafia princess on the run from her mafia dad Grayson Montgomery who runs Canada. He has entered into an agreement of an arranged marriage with the Callahan family the marriage would strengthen his organization against the other mafia families in Canada. However, Liam was gunned down before their agreement could go forward. After the death of Liam Grayson decided to enter into an alliance with Ivan the Bratva who's trying to encroach on the Callahan territory. Grayson didn't know that Mallory already met Brogan and that she was his. Although Mallory is against the marriage she would've marriage Brogan if the deal was still in place. But when she found out that it would be Ivan she would rather die than marry a monster like him. Brogan will go all over the country to seek justice and to find his baby. King of Depravity was addicting and unputdownable.

Part of the Kings of Corruption series each book can be read as a standalone however why would you want to is one of the questions but regardless Hang on and buckle up this is a wild ride, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love (ALL THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE MAFIA WORLD). By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! CAN’T SAY YOU WEREN’T WARNED!!!!! Mallory is a spoiled mafia princess has know most of her life she will be married off as a pawn, she acts that way to keep people from getting close and when she overhears her parents discussing her arranged marriage all she thinks is freedom to live for her just once so she runs away hiding out in a lodge never alerting anyone. Brogan sexy as all get out second oldest free to come, to go aw will no pressure of taking over the family business until his brother is suspiciously shot forcing him into the role of leadership and forced into honoring an arranged marriage with their rival family but a hit has been put out on him so he goes into hiding for a few days so renting a cabin out in the middle of no where taking his puppy for companionship. But evening the puppy runs away from the cabin getting lost during a storm when Mallory hears his cries for help because he is stuck in a trapped taking her back with him at least until the storm passes not sure who would let their puppy out during a storm. After the storm Brogan goes to search for his puppy and has instant attraction to the women who rescued his puppy since they are there together getting to know each other but both also know they can’t make a commitment to the other due to obligation Mallory knows eventually they will find her, force her to marry for the family and Brogan knows he is also trapped in an arranged marriage but for now they can enjoy each other company in every way 😊. But he can’t walk away from his girl he is addicted to her in his heart he knows he can’t marry another but duty calls but when reality sets in realizing he is the man she is arranged to marry will she run or stand with him, will he be honest with her after realizing she is the one he is arranged to marry, can they get along now that they are required to marry one another, is she in the cross hairs since a hit was put out on him, will they figure out who shot his brother, will exact revenge, and after going through so much can they find happiness?.

I am loving this series of books by Piper Stone and King Of Depravity is book 4 and Brogan Callahan's turn to fall in love.
Brogan is part of an Irish Mafia family and his father was taking a step back as the head of the buisness,and Brogan's brother Liam is supposed to take the reins.
As a part of the take over Liam is supposed to marry Mallory Montgomery whose family is Canadian Mafia this will form an alliance between the two mafia families to strenghthen their numbers against the Russians...especially Ivan who is Bratva and wanting to take over the Irish and Canadian territories.
But events take place which makes sure that Liam is eradicated from the picture and so it is inevitable that Brogan will be the next in Line to take over.
Fueled with revenge in his veins he retalliates alone and kills Ivan's men so has to lay low for a while so he goes away to a remote cabin.Where he meets a mystery woman who saves his dog.
Mallory is on the run and has gone into hiding from her father who wants her to marry a man she does not love,all for a buisness deal.
So she runs away to a remote cabin in the woods and encounters a dark stranger who she is unexpectedly and completely attracted to.
Now these two get it on pretty quickly because there is a connection between them that can't be explained....Little do they know that they have more of a connection than they could have imagined.
Her father becomes a traitor to the marriage deal with the Irish and wants to form an alliance with Ivan instead which leaves Mallory in a worst situation...she will be forced to marry into the Russian family...But Brogan will not let that happen Mallory was now his and he intended to make her his in every way possible including taking her right from under the Russians noses and marrying her himself.
This is a fantastic and addictive story.
The audiobook is phenomenal Thomas Lockclear and Ri Paige are Excellent and you become totally lost within the story while listening to their captivating narration.
Also the sound effects used in the story gunshots,explosions etc makes the book feel so movie like its just incredible.
I really enjoyed listening to King of Depravity its a great Mafia romance with very steamy scenes between Brogan and Mallory...and lots of action in betwee, with a plot that will keep you guessing until the end.
Piper Stone never ever disappoints me with her sexy stories and Alpha men and I always look forward to reading/listening to her books.

Hot, action packed, emotional and engrossing, “King of Depravity” kept me throughly engaged, laughing, crying, wringing my hands, picking my jaw up off the floor, and at times using … every … last … bit … of my restraint to NOT up the speed and get those answers NOW! I’ll cut to the chase: leave the speed be! Sit back, play this one at 1.0, and just let this magnificent, thrill ride of a story play out! The writing is truly beautiful! This completely engrossing story flows smoothly, makes perfect sense, and I promise you, when the last words are spoken, you’ll not only have your answers, but you will have been on a fabulous journey with characters that seem so real, you’ll swear you KNOW them! Their conversations ringing so true you’ll have no trouble believing they were actually spoken, sometime, somewhere, and you’ll believe you were there to hear them! Speaking of hearing … the narration that brings this beautiful story to life is magical perfection! Both narrators perform perfectly and seamlessly! I loved that ALL character voicing choices, (male and female) are unique to the individual characters, and each character’s emotions and mindset are conveyed clearly (via vocal inflection/dynamics) throughout! I could close my eyes and KNOW not only who was speaking, but what they were FEELING! Everything I need as a listener to truly experience and enjoy an audio performance was there, and it was ALL perfect, truly bringing the author’s beautiful story, and stunning vision to life! A simply wonderful read, great characters and I love this simply amazing plot and scenario that you will thoroughly enjoy reading about.
This was a simply wonderful read that was based around the one male character and that was Brogan Callahan and he is a captivating male that is pretty much sex on two legs and he has quite the reputation which you have to say will enjoy every moment of. You’ll be blown away by this scenario and the actual plot of the story and you’ll not put this book down until you reach the end and discover the outcome.
When Brogan takes her in to his arms she feels as though the stars are shining and the moon is as bright as it can possibly be, he is so handsome and so masculine and he made her feel so small in his arms. When she has disappointed, annoyed or put herself in danger she had been taken over his knee and would have her behind reddened so that it would be too painful to even sit.
By the time that she learned that she was going to be married off to her father’s choice and he may look sexy and he may be rich but in fact he is a Mafia Mob Boss and he is known to be ruthless and he is going to make me his whether I like it or not.
He is a man that will not take no as an answer, he expects me to be obedient and to do exactly as she is told or else, she will soon feel his disapproval, when he makes his pint known it is always very painful.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

What a good read.
This is the story of Mallory and Brogan.
Mallory is a Mafia pampered princess, she over hears her parents talking about her arranged marriage. She didn’t wait around to find out the finer details and takes herself off to a secluded lodge in the woods, without telling anyone where she was going.
Brogan is the 2nd son of a Mafia boss who is free to do as he pleases, until his brother gets shot in suspicious circumstances and he then has to take over his role in the business. As the eldest male, he now has to honour the arranged marriage with a rival family. He also acquires a price on his head and is advised to go away for a few days.
Brogan rents a cabin in the woods, out of the way and takes his puppy with him for company.
The puppy escapes Brogan’s cabin and gets lost in the woods, in the snow ( as a snowstorm has started ), gets its leg trapped in a trap. Mallory hears the dogs cries and rescues it, takes it back to her cabin. Its owner, Brogan comes to the cabin to retrieve the dog and gets trapped in with the snowstorm.
The story then gets interesting, as neither of them knows who the other person is. They get to know each other intimately, both of the mind its a fling and they will never see each other again.
Real life returns for both of them and there are many twists and turns, thrills, suspense, drama and things happen that you don’t expect.
A really good book that keeps you entertained all the way through. A must read.

Wow, I loved this book it was awesome, the story was exhilarating I couldn't put the book down and the characters were were really sensational. This story was about Mallory and Brogan, Brogan was very close to his brother until he died now he has to take the reigns and be the boss, he needed to get away so he took his eight month old pup Blazer. Brogan was getting wood and the pup took off so he went looking for him. Mallory is down on her luck and was hiding from everyone especially her father arranging her marriage, she was badly treated by her photographer so she left. Up in the snowy mountains she came across a puppy and took it in. Brogan knocked on a door a beautiful lady answered, it was an intense lust and need then it just got hotter and hotter. Mafia war with territory against other mafia family's including the Bratva. Brogan had to get home quickly unfortunately that was when she started running away from him because she didn't want the Mafia life. Wow, I loved this book it was awesome, the story was exhilarating I couldn't put the book down and the characters were were really sensational. This story was about Mallory and Brogan, Brogan was very close to his brother until he died now he has to take the reigns and be the boss, he needed to get away so he took his eight month old pup Blazer. Brogan was getting wood and the pup took off so he went looking for him. Mallory is down on her luck and was hiding from everyone especially her father arranging her marriage, she was badly treated by her photographer so she left. Up in the snowy mountains she came across a puppy and took it in. Brogan knocked on a door a beautiful lady answered, it was an intense lust and need then it just got hotter and hotter. Mafia war with territory against other mafia family's including the Bratva. Brogan had to get home quickly unfortunately that was when she started running away from him because she didn't want the Mafia life. “King of Depravity” is part of a series featuring leaders of organized crime families who have banded together in a group known as the Brotherhood. They don’t necessarily get along with each other well, but they have mutual interest in helping one another against outsiders. Brogan belongs to the group. Mallory is the daughter of the leader of a Mafia family who understands book is part of a series, it can be read as a complete standalone.

The Brotherhood has got a new member. Mallory had a good life. She is a successful model and the daughter of Grayson Montgomery. But her father is not nice man. He did the unthinkable. He made a deal with to strengthen his hold against the Bratva. Brogan was not the number one son. That was Liam. An unfortunate incident happened and now Brogan is the one. He was trained by his brother and knows all about the business. He will avenge the ones that took from him. These two are going toe to toe. You can see it coming. Mallory is no pushover. She calls it like she sees it. You have to love that. I can understand her wanting a normal life. Brogan is not only trying to clean up the mess but he tries to hide his emotions. There is an emotional part that we learn about Brogan. It was shocking. It is dangerous to love in the mafia. With the Bratva trying to take more territory, people start dying. Both fathers are evil men. Grayson using his daughter for barter of power. There are times you just want to scream. But Brogan and Mallory have a chemistry that is solid. I wonder who Phoenix will be matched to.

I received an ARC, and am leaving an honest review, voluntarily.
Of course, I signed up, the moment I found that Piper Stone had open spots to arc-read this, because I'd previously read King Of Pain and loved it so much, so, I was very excited to get into it.
Mallory is a princess in every sense of the word, when her keen observation brings her to discover what such a life entails though, she's not waiting around to be shackled, thus taking us on a path of no return.
Meanwhile, Brogan, is a free-roaming second son, living it up, until tragedy strikes hard, bringing everything to a halt, when he's forced to take over the mantle. (Now, forced might be a stretch, but, you'll see for yourself.)
Every twist, and every angle, comes to a stop, when what's meant to be a simple fling becomes something so much more, rationality, obligation, and expectation, thrown to the wind.
Because he is obsessed, addicted even, to his little fawn.
It's such an exhilarating and mysterious introduction to who they are.
Clearly, I plan to go through the author's entire backlog, because they write to my heart's taste.

King of Depravity is well worth the read. A great love story.
Mallory ran away after discovering that her father had basically sold her to Liam mafia prince. Her father was trying to forge an alliance with the Irish mafia in Chicago. Liam was cancer free and enjoying life when at his celebration he was murdered. Brogan was next in line to take control after his brother death. After he almost started a war with the new Russian Pakhan, his father told him to take a few days before his brother funeral. So he decided to take a few days in Colorado with his puppy Blazer. Mallory was at the cabin of her best friends family when she heard a dog howling in the woods. She rescued Blazer out of the bear trap and took him with her. Brogan showed up at her cabin in a snow storm looking for the puppy. The storm was so bad they were snowed into together for three days. The electricity between Mallory and Brogan was off the charts. Beautiful love story and I recommend reading.

Mizz Piper grows in everything into this topsy turvy romance & i have a soft spot for Fairy God Doggies. Brogan is the second son of the Chicago Irish Mafia, a discredited shrink who specialized in serial killers, in the King Brotherhood & totally drifting after the drive by shooting of his family. Mallory has her toes in the modeling world, but soon her mouth gets her into bug trouble. Mallory & Brogan are both ensnared by pissed off Mother Nature & with the help of the Fairy God Doggie are showed in as they discover each ones dark sensual sides. Mizz Piper used lots of humor in this read & also revealed more about the other Kings in the Brotherhood. Lots of bullets, his booms, car chases, pantie soaking scenes, International travel, lots of baddies popping up, family betrayal & a mafia mother who actually puts her child first. Mizz Piper truly deserves my top score of 5 fingers up & 10 ties for this complicated & deliciously depraved romance.

Steamy scenes, passion, a feisty, independent Mallory and a dark and dangerous Brogan will have you on the edge of your seat. Tragedy strikes at the Callahan house when the eldest son is killed. Brogan retaliates and has to leave for a few days until the heat dies down. Over in the Montgomery house, Mallory is finding out just how awful her father is. Running away after hearing news she is to wed a stranger; Mallory ends up in Colorado in a friend’s cabin. A chance meeting and the attraction between Mallory and Brogan is there and Brogan is starting to feel things he shouldn’t.

This book is very action packed with a lot of mystery with intense steamy scenes and big enemies to lovers theme! When both main characters find out news they don’t like they want a getaway for some alone time but everything changes when a snowstorm comes along. Out of the whole series I believe this book is the most in my opinion different but still very enjoyable with a lot of surprises. It’s page turner for sure one that will keep you reading last into the night with a very independent woman who is not afraid to tell people off and try to make her dreams come true. Thank goodness for a happy ending I can’t wait to read more on this series! :) this guy doesn’t think all goodness in him died forever ago will these two wonderful characters help each other know how to live when everything is against them and be able to let go of their difficulties from their pasts?.

Loved the amazing dual narration from Thomas Locklear and Ri Paige. These two bought the angst, action, heat and steam to my ears.
When Mallory overhears her father telling her mother that she is going to be given in marriage to Liam Callahan. The only thing she can do, is go and hid in her friends cabin. It is there she rescues a puppy from a trap whose owner Brogan Callahan turns up to find him. Both get stuck together during a snowstorm. It is in then she finds out who is and who his brother was. Liam is now dead. Even with the attraction and their passion for each other. Mallory drugs him and flees but she is captured by her father. Again her father sales her. She fakes her death. Brogan is convinced that she is alive and will find her. At the same time dealing with, traitors within the organisation . This is full of suspense, betrayal, strength and love, hot and very steamy.

Mallory thought she would be safe when she ran away from her home to remote Colorado after overhearing her father and mother discussing her impending arranged marriage. Brogan, still reeling from his brother Liam's brutal murder and his father's rath seeks some time alone in the wilderness of Colorado but unexpectedly (or was it) finds Mallory and begins a passionate "several night's stand". His addiction towards Mallory was more complicated than he realized, especially after finding out she was his brother's intended bride. Danger seems to be coming from everywhere for these two but Mallory also can't help but remember Brogan telling her that he is also a very dangerous man. I have loved each of the stories in the Kings of Corruption Series and this one was an especially addictive one.

Brogan Callahan becomes heir to the Irish mafia in Chicago because of his father's murder, but to keep him from throwing his family into a war, he decides to cool off by heading to Colorado with his dog Blaze. Mallory Montgomery is the only child of a Canadian mob boss and has been promised to marry, so she runs to a secluded cabin in Colorado. When she comes across a hurt dog, she takes him in, but soon his owner shows up. Brogan meet Mallory and unbeknownst to either, they have been arranged to marry each other. I loved that twist. There is great steam, sizzle, drama, action, twists, turns, and more. I love this series and this is a great addition to it.

Outstanding storyline with great characters. Brogan is a very scary and has lost himself to his dark side. Mallory is trying to escape her family and finds that it's too late. They run into each other while trying to escape their lives. They are snowed in and have fantastic days together. They find out that they are the couple that is set in an arranged marriage. Does Mallory bring Brogan out of his dark side? Does she stand with him? Will they be honest with each other? Will they get their HEA. Another great story by Piper Stone.

Brogan has just witnessed his brother Liam murdered and his father orders him to leave town for his safety. Mallory has over heard a conversation about her being married to a rival mob family. Coincidentally they both end up in the same cabin in Colorado during a blizzard. Before long they are in bed together! There is a lot of running and hiding, most not very successful. Brogan is determined to have her and Mallory is torn between wanting him and being afraid of him. Great story with fabulous characters. Great series so far!

Ok, confession time. Brogan is officially my favorite king. He’s seriously the best bbf. Hot, dominant, intelligent, strong, confident, you name it, he’s got it. Oh, and he loves his puppy to bits! Malloy ended up being a much tougher, resourceful heroine than I imagined. There’s plenty of action and plot twists. Plus we get appearances by the other kings. This series is fantastic and the books just keep getting better and better! Bring on Maxim next!.

Don't get me wrong. I liked Mallory a lot too. She is feisty and independent. Brogan has so much loss to deal with. They end up together stuck in a cabin in the middle of a winter blizzard. Of course when they find out who the other is they distrust each other and their feelings. They both have so much subterfuge to deal with it is amazing the get through it admitting their love and still rising to the top. These two have intense chemistry. Great read.

What a wild ride! Not that it's unexpected, but there are more twists to tis tale than usual and I love that Mallory and Brogan have such a tumultuous but sometimes rather gentle dynamic. It adds great dimension to the story as well as passion. I love the characters and the worldbuilding as well as the action and adventure. It kept me on the edge of my seat figuratively speaking from beginning to end. What a great read!.

Blazer, the puppy brought Brogan and Mallory together, both of them trying to get away from their mafia families. A snowstorm forces them together without knowing who each other is. The chemistry is intense and immediate and what follows is a hot, very hot, exciting and sometimes violent story. Families are often not our biggest supporters, but not as cruel and dangerous as Brogan and Mallory’s. This is a story that has you flipping pages to find out what happens and an ending that will make you sigh and your toes curl.
