This book is so creative, and the character development is superb! The plot will have you unable to put the book down until it’s finished. A quick read too so well worth your time. I cannot wait for the sequel!

The writing style is utterly unique and intriguing. Poetic, vibrant, and succinct – the author conveys both the temporary and the eternal in a few lines. I really enjoy Ryan’s unique writing style. He packs a lot of information into short concise sentences, and really transports the reader into the minds of his characters. Create Destruction pulled me in and wouldn’t let go. Told in prose, reminiscent of Canterbury Tales, Ryan’s novel follows young Thomas, a boy with amazing abilities, as his will and self-control are slowly being stripped away by the demented Dr Larson. Using trigger words of things that are near and dear to him, Thomas is continuously told he has a choice, but does he?
I’m looking forward to more of this riveting tale, because it really left me wanting to know more. This stayed with me long after I finished the final page.
