China Code by Matthew Flynn is a highly entertaining and even scholarly thriller. It combines excitement and mystery with local color of Milwaukee. The descriptions of the characters are creative and even sublime. The discussions of mathematics are erudite and fit into the story perfectly. Once you start reading it is impossible to put down. Truly extraordinary!!
