The book is a collection of writings and communiques of the Black Liberation Army. For anyone studying socialism, it provides some of the clearest and practical definitions of terms “socialism”, “communism”, “proletariat”, “class struggle” to be found anywhere. It also provides an understanding of the Black Liberation Army - the organization that Assata Shakur, Mutulu Shakur ( who also raised Tupac Shakur), Kuwasi Balagoon belonged to. It should be essential and required reading for any one involved in organizing and communal struggles against fascism in the united states.
