This is my review for Tyson by Amanda Shelley and it is Tyson and Tamara’s Story. Tyson and Tamara have history because Tamara was an foreign exchange student and when she met Tyson and they started to spend time together they fell in love and he was Tamara’s first in every single way but eventually she had to return home breaking both of their hearts. Three years later and Tamara is on her way to watch a basketball game with her friend Ari only Tamara was in for a shock when Tyson walked on the court to play making all of her memories of there time together return making her realise that she never got over or stopped loving him. Tyson had just transferred to Columbia River University and was also part of the basketball team and had made some great friends and after winning the game Tyson had the biggest shock because the one girl that he still loved and never got over is standing in front of him but things didn’t go well and he needed to put it right. The attraction, connection and chemistry is still as strong and intense now as it was three years ago but will they be able to communicate, trust and work everything out so that they can get there second chance of being together and having the happiness and future that they both deserve. What a beautiful and poignant second chance that Tyson and Tamara have after being apart for three years and it just goes to show that if your love is strong enough you will always find your way back to each other when the time is right. This might be a short story but it was definitely worth reading and I couldn’t put it down and had to keep turning the pages to see what the outcome and future was for them in the end.
Tyson by Amanda Shelley What a wonderful short read read! Tyson and Tamara had my heart from the beginning! They dated for a short time while Tamara was an exchange student in the states. She went back to Australia where she lived and basically ghosted Tyson. Fast forward 3 years and she’s back. She runs into Tyson after she sees him playing basketball. She is determined to tell Tyson what happened and why she ghosted him. He says he has plans and leaves her. Tamara doesn’t know what to think. Before you know it, Tyson is back at Tamara’s place where she is staying. Their chemistry is still unbelievable. Will they be able to hash everything out and possibly be together in the end? Will Tamara’s ghosting of Tyson make him not want to give her a second chance? Wait til you find out!
This review is for Rev My Engine by Naomi Springthorp. I absolutely loved it. It's a short quick read but so good. Danee she's got some spunk to her and just a wonderful character that you cannot not like. Then throw in Toro and oh boy it gets real interesting. I gotta also mention Nikki, she's a fun one; love her friendship with Danee. I really liked the overall storyline, the humor, the banter, the characters, and how everything just flowed nicely. Definitely recommend reading.
The Hopelessly Devoted Anthology is a massive collection of romances!! There are so many! Hours of reading entertainment by more than twenty authors! You’re sure to find a new author that you love!
One of my favorites was a short story…Tyson, by Amanda Shelley!! This follows Tyson and Tamara. They were high school sweet hearts….until she ghosted him. Now, they shockingly, unexpectedly, meet up again.
I love anthologies! I have been introduced to so many new authors this way. I enjoyed reading Take A Chance by Michelle Fernandez. Hartley owns a matchmaking business with her partner and friend Courtney. Courtney is always trying to get her to use the service herself. Hartley hasn't been interested. On her way back from an appointment, her car needs the work of a mechanic. Enter Andrew the owner of the auto shop. This story was insta-love at its finest. It was a quick read but satisfying.
Review is for Take a Chance by Michelle Fernandez. Really enjoyed this quick insta-love read. Andrew and Hartley had pretty much decided love wasn’t in the cards for them but fate had other ideas and put them together at the right time. Loved it.
So many great authors are in this anthology! I read Take a Chance by Michelle Fernandez and enjoyed this quick read. Andrew, a small town mechanic, and Hartley, a big-city matchmaker, have that instant attraction and sweet story.
I have many stories left to read, but jumped in headfirst when I saw that Raine Miller contributed to this anthology with the first few chapters of a future book titled Love On Deck. She has thrilled me with all of her hockey stories, and this time around we get to see a smoking hot baseball player!
Freddie and Mason may be starting out as enemies - at least in her mind, but I have a feeling that will change pretty quickly after they start spending some time together. And I absolutely loved Jackson! What an adorable little boy. I can't wait for more of this story!
In the meantime, I'm going to work my way through more of the amazing offerings in this anthology.
This is a review for Tyson by Amanda Shelley. It’s a great addition to the Perfectly Independent series (this is my favorite series by Amanda so far), which is a prequel to rest of the books. It was a cute and quick read with a little spice. Tamara and Tyson got back together quickly, but it seemed more acceptable since they had history together. This one makes me want to go reread rest of the series to see if Tamara and Tyson are mentioned, so I can hear a little more about them.
This book is an anthology of short stories about romance! Many amazing authors contributed to this book! I loved so many of these stories - and subsequently need more of many of them! These stories are all must reads! Love, love, love this so much. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
How can you say no to such wonderful short stories by Naomi Springthorp, Tonya Clark, Ember-Raine Winters and all of the rest of the wonderful authors involved with this wonderful anthology. I loved each and every one of them.
