Detailed and well put together
This book will appeal to anyone that has an interest in programming. With a software consultant background and a strong inclination for programming I enjoyed this book a lot. It is detailed with links to research additionally if needed on the covered topics.
There was nothing I can say was left behind when it comes to being sure of your choices as a programmer. It also includes best practices and guides you to be the best. From basic functional knowledge to hardcore development, there is everything included here to put your curiosity to rest. I found this highly engaging for veteran software developers as well.
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to understand more about being a software engineer.

An All-in-One Resource
I'm not a developer, but I manage a team of technical recruiters who work with developers every day. This book is so thorough that I plan on giving them each a copy to get an overview of the positions they recruit for. It will be such a valuable resource. This book would be great for anyone who wants to be a dev, works with/manages devs, and leadership individuals who gave devs on staff. Highly recommend.
