I received the ARC copy of this book for an honest review.
Book two was exactly as Jayme promised. More trauma and more smut.
With that came even more surprises and battle.
I did not want to put this book down while reading it, even while I sobbed my heart out.
Everything fell into place perfectly and beautifully.
It has everything in a book that I look for and I am so honored to have been able to read it.
This book broke my heart, made me swoon, and kept me on my toes. (I need to next book now)
Do I recommend this book and series? Hell yes I do.

This book was such a rollercoaster of emotions for me! It really amped up everything that happened in book one. More heartbreak, more swooning, more battles, more smut 😏😏 It still kept the fast pace that the first book set, but with most of the lore already set up, it felt like it was easier to keep track of everything.
I really loved Kate’s relationships with everyone: Blaise, Darrya, Finlay, Wren, Kipp, Cass- just, everyone! She is such a likable heroine and I love to see it. I just love the found family trope and it’s done so well in this series.
I honestly cannot wait for the third book!

Am I an emotional wreck? Absolutely. Was it worth it? More than. Would I let Jayme step on my heart any day? 100%
I thought the first book had snakes in the grass, but I was fully unprepared for the twists and turns this sequel book made. I cried, I raged, I fell in love. It was perfect.
I got this ARC and literally only put it down when I had to and finished in less than a day, it was completely captivating. I already need book 3!

This one is a must read ! I felt so connected to the characters, it was surreal ! Kate went through so much, I felt so sad for her. The maturity she had too was just amazing. I loved everything about this book ! I've been a nervous wreck reading this but also when not reading. In a good way of course ! I didn't want it to end. ESPECIALLY for how it did end !!! I need book 3 ASAP

This book was a rollercoaster of emotions. It was full of twists and turns and adventure, it was such a fun, crazy time! So many things were revealed in this book, and we finally get some answers to some burning questions.
I really enjoyed this, I honestly looked forward to going home to read it every night, I loved getting to know the characters more, same as the first book I wish some moments were a bit more fleshed out but overall it was such a great book! I am literally in Jayme’s dms begging for scraps of the next book to tide me over.
I highly recommend checking out this series, Marked by Fate is currently available on Kindle Unlimited and for purchase on Amazon and Marked by Gods will be released on June 16th!

You know it’s a five star read when it leaves you hungry for more.
As a reader, I felt embedded within the plot of this book. In Marked by Gods, Jayme Hunt has crafted a perfect ménage à trois of sexual tension, gut wrenching emotion, and political power struggles. The pacing of book two is much faster than in book one, which kept me invested. There are several impactful moments that had me shooketh. The characters are lovable (I am positively obsessed with a certain fire-wielding Fae). The ending of this book took me by surprise. I was grateful to receive this ARC, and now I’m sad that I have to wait for book three!
If you’ve enjoyed The Cruel Prince or ACOTAR, this has a similar vibe!

This book was AMAZING. What was missing in the first one for me this book delivered and more. I cried??? CRIED. It’s not very often that I like all of the main characters especially the main female character but all of these characters are wrote so well and are so loveable. I thought I was surprised by the first one but this one just had me in a state of shock. I couldn’t put it down and I stayed up late just to finish it. I think this one was so much easier to follow because all of the world building was pretty much done in the first so we could just focus on the romance and the characters which really paid off because I was so invested in all of it. The smut was just *chef’s kiss* without being too distracting from the plot. This book has a nice balance of the romance and fantasy elements.

I got an ARC of book 2 in exchange for a review and I still love this series so much. Giving this book 4.5 stars. There were some aspects I wish we got to see the original crew more in this book, because I love them all so much, but overall the story just jumps in even deeper. Jayme promises more dark and this book definitely gets that way. It was a rollercoaster of emotions. I enjoyed the detailed fighting scenes and the world building continues to be explained beautifully. I will 100% continue this series when the next book comes out!

Adult fantasy romance is not usually my choice in genre when reading but this book was fantastic. The first book in the series was great but THIS ONE. 😍 I truly can’t wait for the next book in this series. To think Jayme Hunt was a debut author for the first book in this series almost seems unbelievable. This book is beautifully written and the characters are so easy to fall in love with. Its full of love and loss and life, even some steam - what more can a reader ask for?!

Jayme, we need to talk girl… you made me fall so deeply in love with Finlay throughout this book. My precious baby is soo soo much more than the comedic relief character. He must be protected at all costs.
The character growth among this little found family in this book is incredible! But especially amongst Kate & Finlay. Their relationship is one that will stand the test of time.
I cannot wait for book 3 to have more Kate & Finlay moments. And of course of Kipp & Cas (iykyk 😉).

An epic continuation of the Marked series. Book two was full of mystery,suspense,emotional turmoil, conflict,and romance. And I ate it up. Jayme writes so beautifully and has such a way with words that I find myself constantly engaged and sucked into whatever is going on at the moment. I love Kate and her found family. I can’t wait to see what book 3 brings.

Another amazing book by Jayme Hunt (and another amazingly frustrating cliffhanger!)
I loved the growth Kate had in this book from book one. So many things happened to her in such a short amount of time, so the reality of having depressive episodes made connecting with her easier.
I can't wait for the conclusion!

I liked the first book, but this second book gave me all the feels which is what I LOVE about reading! I’m so happy for Finlay that I cried happy tears! I’m so excited for what’s to come in the third book!

WOW. so happy with this book. full of adventure, deceit, spice 🤌, battles, heartbreak, and love. 🩷 this was such a good read! I cannot wait for everyone to get their hands on this.
