Passive Prospecting: Dominate Your Market without Cold Calling, Chasing Clients, or Spending Money on Ads

Rate this book
One million dollars and $6,250 per video.

This is how much Levi Lascsak and Travis Plumb made in their first year marketing their new real estate business on YouTube. By the first seven months of their second year, they surpassed $2.6 million and $47,000 per video.

Levi and Travis have sold everything from gym memberships to retirement plans and enjoyed every aspect—except prospecting. In real estate, they saw that outdated tactics such as cold calling and paid advertising were ineffective and time consuming. YouTube gave them everything they exposure, opportunity, and clients who would benefit most from their services. In Passive Prospecting, Levi and Travis lay out the principles of implementing a successful marketing strategy built around YouTube. You’ll learn the difference between interruption- and intention-based marketing, how to keep your content evergreen, and why utilizing YouTube is a service-based tactic your customers will value. For both the novice and experienced rep, Passive Prospecting is the sales blueprint that will help you stop chasing leads and instead bring the business to you.

first 70 pages could be done in just 2 pages.

This is a 183 pages book but the first 70 pages went round and round about why you should start a YouTube channel. Frankly, it could have been done in 2 pages on why you need YouTube channel for a business. You don’t need 70 pages.

This book is strictly for beginners who have not started a YouTube channel.

If you have some experience in starting and running a YouTube channel albeit not a highly successful one, you can skip this book as most of things covered here are very beginner level, and you can find the same information through the many YouTube videos on this subject.

roadmap rockstars

These two guys, Levi and Travis have written a book of value! The is true to their core beliefs, service first. They are Go Givers. It is rare the books that actually help you have an actual action plan you can execute. So pumped to start building my channel as a mortgage broker. Thank you both.

It's a good read. Even more changes since this was written but shows the importance of video in business.
