I have followed Kristin for YEARS. This book was everything cozy, delicious, and inspiring. There are so many recipes that I actually want to try and many reflections and tips that have inspired me to grow as a wife and mama. Loved this book! I’ve loved Kristin for years, so I had to get her book! The photos were absolutely beautiful, and I can’t wait to try some of these recipes! The anecdotes weren’t as detailed or profound as I would have liked, but this is a very beautiful coffee table/kitchen counter book & I’m glad I read it! 🌿🍞🌼🤍

I found this book by Kristin Johns so inspirational this week! 🌸🪴🍞
🪴I married my husband this August and have been trying to get into the swing of being married, running our little home, and everything that comes with it for the last few months.
🪴I found Kristin’s advice and stories really inspirational and fun to listen to! She has everything from recipes and advice on organizing your home, to how to cultivate deeper intimacy in all your relationships and spend intentional time with loved ones. Plus, it takes a really easy to follow year-long path, giving you ideas for improvement and opportunities for greater joy each month.
🪴I would definitely recommend to any people in a similar position to what I’ve been going through, or anyone that what’s a cute read with some reset ideas!

This is a very lovely book!
Kristin talks about each season, sharing her own insights and stories. She has a few DIY projects that she loves to do such as bringing nature inside her home and using pieces as decoration. She has really great recipes that I want to tackle myself (definitely been wanting to make my own sourdough starter for one thing). She even shares stories around the recipes. I enjoyed learning about Kristin Johns, as I had never heard of her before (I'll have to check out her YouTube channel now).

This book was nice and the recipes look really delicious, but this is by no means a devotional or even "religious" book. I guess I went in expecting some mention of God during each month (each chapter is divided by the months of the year), but she only talks about God once and mentioned Scripture I think twice.

Definitely not a deal-breaker, but it would have been perfect to add in as a reminder for every season we go through, He is always with us. Not a bad read and I will try out some of the recipes I tagged.

Oh how I loved this book. Kristin is one of my most favorite influencers and I loved the creative format of this book - unlike anything I’ve ever read! The book is 12 chapters long, one for each month of the year. Each month has a recipe, home making tip, and an essay from Kristin about her life. It was cozy, special, and everything I’ve been wanting from her! Grab a copy. Cannot wait to make her sourdough cinnamon rolls!!!

3.5 maybe? It was cute & sweet, as you’d expect from Kristin Johns, but there wasn’t as much content as I would’ve enjoyed. The idea of making a book to go through the seasons with different recipes & ideas for things to do/try each month was smart! Her stories were cute but not terribly profound. I liked it but I wouldn’t say you GOTTA GET IT….unless you’re a big fan of hers (which I am).

Utter drivel. Content creator? Maybe, but nothing original so maybe it should be content re-creator. I’d never heard of her so I checked out her IG account. 70,000+ likes on a picture of her haircut? Wow, people.

Her content is about as interesting as a second grade math book.

Definitely the best influencer-written book I've read so far. Kristin is not only my favorite YouTube girly, but she is a very talented writer. The reader can feel her love and passion for food, coziness, and life in general through the pages.

As an 21 year old I would have loved this. As a 31 year old it doesn't seem like it's for my demographic. The recipes all look delicious though. I want to make Cece's gumbo.

I absolutely adore Kristin, I surely adore this book. What I’ve always loved about Kristin is her ability to make life beautiful in every season, the brightest of springs and dark cozies of winter. She embraces each detail of life’s most sacred moments through her steadfast faith and love for intentionality. This book brings all of that to life in practical recipes and curated home making. Glad to carry of piece of her love for life in my home.
