A FAMILY FOR THE ORPHANS is not the first book I’ve ever read by Heidi Main and it surely won’t be the last. I loved everything about this beautiful story and I’m sad that I finished reading it. Heidi grabbed my heart from the very first page. She has a way of grabbing her readers and she never lets us go. Walker is a cyber security guy who lost his wife in A car accident that he still blames himself for. Trisha was left at the alter by a guy who she thought really loved her. She is a professor at an Iowa University and is spending the summer helping Walker with the kids. Walker and Trisha are co-parenting their best friends three children after both parents died in A tragic helicopter accident.

A FAMILY FOR THE ORPHANS is about letting go of the past and the fear of being hurt again. That is what Walker and Trisha are both dealing with. Walker and Trisha buy a horse ranch that their friends had planned to raise their children on. To say this horse ranch comes with many problems, would be a huge understatement. Its A funny story at times and filled with laugh out loud moments. I loved this story so much and I’m very excited to see what Heidi writes next. I will be watching. Be prepared to fall in love with this small town and all of the people in it.

A FAMILY FOR THE ORPHANS is such a heart tugging story! All of the characters are very interesting and believable, so much so that I felt as if I’ve known them for a long time. I absolutely fell in love with these kids and all the heart felt troubles they were dealing with. The pages of this wonderful story are filled with hope, family, and love and the reader should be prepared to have the kids steal their heart. Poor Walker and Trisha, believing they were unworthy of being loved. Love really isn’t on their minds as they must keep the ranch productive. They can’t fail because the kids would be devastated and they both agree to not let that happen.

This is the heartwarming story of two lost souls wandering without love and both think that they don’t really want to find it. Trisha Campbell was burned at the altar by a childhood friend and cybersecurity expert Walker McCaw suffered a heartbreaking loss of his true love in a horrible accident. Now the two of them are charged with caring for the three young children of their best friends who recently died. They set out to establish a new home on a horse ranch and the ups and downs of starting a new business are portrayed realistically. Each character is relatable and dynamic and I really enjoyed getting to know them.I especially loved how the author realistically portrayed the children and their feelings and dialogues. So touching! The storyline was realistic, with a lot of challenges for Trisha and Walker in both their personal and private lives. The entire plot flowed smoothly and was paced just right. This is a quick read with encouragement for the readers to never give up on dreams.

What a delight to be back at the Triple C Ranch (or at least next door to it) in author Heidi Main’s A Family for the Orphans!
Walker McCaw’s friend’s were in a tragic fatal accident months prior, and now he is primary guardian to their three young children.
Trisha Campbell is named backup guardian, and has agreed to leave her academic position in Iowa to come back to Texas for the summer to be with the kids.
The ranch they bought to fulfill the children’s parents’ dreams is struggling, though, and there is a land developer waiting in the wings for Walker and Trish to fail and have to sell. As they work together on the ranch and with the children, they grow closer. But each have feelings of unworthiness and guilt that have built up a rock solid wall around their hearts. Can the Lord work in each of them to take down those walls, stone by stone? Will He show them how to save the ranch and give the children a future there? Settle in and find out! I’m so glad I did. Plus it has my favorite, an epilogue!
I received a complimentary copy of this book, but my opinion is entirely my own.

A Family for the Orphans is my first Heidi Main read. This story is centered around a sweet friends to more romance which is one of my favorite tropes. It is an uplifting story with a great faith message.

Both Walker and Trisha have gone through some really traumatic experiences. Walker is struggling to forgive himself for something that was out of his control. This story really emphasizes how sometimes you can be your own worst enemy which in turn can sabotage your personal growth and happiness. It highlights the importance of having faith in God and trusting Him. This is one of my favorite quotes in the story,

“God forgave us first,“ Autumn stated. “If you don’t forgive yourself, you’re belittling God’s work on the cross.”

The seamlessly woven faith thread was one of my favorite parts of this story.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own. The faith thread is medium. 4 stars.

This is the first book I have read by this author. The adult main characters in this book are Walker McCaw and Trisha Campbell. There are also three children in this novel who seem like main characters to me because the story revolves around the adults taking care of them. The children lost their parents four months before. They are three, five and seven years old. They will grab at your heartstrings from the very first chapter. I love that this novel takes place on a horse farm and in a town named Serenity. Add in the grandfatherly man with several cute sounding dogs and you cannot help but fall in love with this plot. I recommend this book to anyone who likes community, family, animals, and a sweet love story.

Walker McCaw becomes guardian to Sophia, Gabby, and Tommy after their parents die. Trisha Campbell becomes co guardian. They buy the horse farm that their late friends wanted for the children to grow up in. I really enjoyed the characters in this sweet, heartwarming story. Even after an unexpected tragedy, the children find out their not alone. Walker and Trisha love them and try to help with the healing process. A family for the Orphans is about hope, faith, finding love, second chances and true friends. I absolutely would recommend this story. I was given a complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.

I absolutely loved A Family for the Orphans by Heidi Main! I couldn’t put this book down and read it in a day! It is the second book in the Triple C Ranch series, but like other Love Inspired books, it can be read as a standalone. (I did read book 1, A Nanny for the Rancher’s Twins, and it’s just as wonderful as this one.)

A Family for the Orphans revolves around Walker McCaw, who became a guardian of three children when his best friends died, and Trisha Campbell, co-guardian of the kids. Trisha plans to be there for the summer to help Walker before she heads back to her job as a professor. But, you know what they say about the best laid plans.

I loved these characters. The children are 7, 5, and 3, so each of them is dealing with losing both parents in different ways as their maturity levels are so different at these ages. Walker has had to deal with the raw hurt of losing his friends, the children’s sadness, and keeping the horse farm afloat. It’s where his friends had hoped to raise their kids. When Trisha arrives, her mothering ways obviously are different from Walker’s even though he’s been great with the kids. Dads and moms are different and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! Kids need both! I love how strong both Walker and Trisha are.

A Family for the Orphans has some deep themes that Main deals with wonderfully. I think that the one that struck me the most is forgiveness, specifically forgiving yourself. Walker has been blaming himself for something that happened years ago. He’s a Christian, so it’s not like he doesn’t believe in God’s forgiveness. It’s that he doesn’t feel like he deserves a happy life after what happened. He didn’t trust God enough to leave things in God’s hands. How many of us are like that? Sure, we say we trust God, but we constantly worry about keeping our kids/family/loved ones safe. Our lives are a vapor. Only God knows how many days we have to live on this earth. Only he knows how many days we’ll have with our loved ones. Walker also gets a new perspective on forgiving himself when someone reminds him that he’s been bought with a price…Jesus’s blood. When we trusted him as our Savior, we were forgiven. Jesus died once for all. I could go on and on about the Christian themes that weave their way through the story, but I’ll let you discover them!

I highly recommend A Family for the Orphans to inspirational romance fans! It is a delightful happy-ever-after story with a beautiful setting, well-written characters, and themes that will remind you just how much God loves and cares for you.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All views expressed are only my honest opinion

Loved Walker and Trisha's story! Walker's best friend and his wife were killed in a helicopter crash, and Walker and Trisha are named as co-guardian's of three children, two girls and a boy. The deceased couple was in the process of buying a horse ranch, as it was their wish to raise the children there. Walker and Trisha move forward with the purchase, and Walker and the children move to the ranch. Trisha comes to spend the summer, and then realizes that she really wants to be at the ranch with Walker and the kids. Walker is afraid to love again, after the death of his wife in a car accident. Trisha has been burned by her ex-fiance. Both come to realize that they have to give control of their lives to God, that they can't control weather, other people, or anything but their own reactions. Love how they both learn to rely on God, each other, and their friends and family.

What a sweet heartwarming story! Heidi Main has a well written story with great characters, a great storyline, and such a good ending! The three children’s characters helped make the book!
Walker McCaw is a bachelor that has been thrown into the guardianship of three young children. He is trying to keep a struggling new horse farm going so that the kids can grow up as their parent’s had planned, but he is in over his head.
Trisha Campbell is giving her summer to helping Walker with the kids. She steps in to help manage the farm and mother the grieving youngsters.
Both Walker and Trisha have lost at love. Walker is guilt ridden over the death of his wife. Trisha was left, almost at the altar, by her fiancée. She feels like she isn’t enough. Together they have to learn forgiveness.
This is the second in a series. I ‘m looking forward to the next book!

A Family for the Orphans, by Heidi Main, is a western, contemporary romance that is entertaining and enjoyable. Filled with friends, faith, and family, this book is quite engaging and uplifting.

A horse farm with scenic acreage provides the essential setting and necessary motivations for the characters in this book as they reevaluate their goals, recognize their insecurities, face their fears, and nurture their faith. Page after page, these characters are authentic and vulnerable. Their hopes, concerns, and desires are real and moving. They are certainly relatable, and their story is compelling.

With themes focused around faith and family, A Family for the Orphans is a special novel. Filled with hope, uncertainty, courage, compassion, resiliency, trust, and second chances it is genuinely endearing. I am happy to recommend it.

Author Heidi Main has written a second story that will bring readers back to small-town Texas. This is a sweet story that is about three children who end up orphans and their uncle and his friend who try to keep the orphan’s family farm legacy alive. A charming story of faith, courage, forgiveness and family, with a sweet romance between two best friends turned to more. A quick, light, and heart-warming story that readers will thoroughly enjoy.

This story had two very admirable main characters, Walker and Trisha, who stepped in and became guardians for their late friends’ three children. Walker took on the ownership and running of a horse farm for the children. Trisha traveled there for the summer to help in any way she could.

Walker and Trisha very clearly loved these children and wanted the best for them. They had one problem after another with the farm and trying to bring it into the black. I enjoyed seeing the love slowly develop between these two longtime friends, however, their path to happily ever after had quite a few bumps in it due to burdens and uncertainty that they both carried related to events in their pasts.

Thank you in advance to the author, Heidi Main, for providing a complimentary review copy through her launch team. A positive review was not required nor requested, and all words are my own.

This is the author’s second book in the Love Inspired line, and I have to say – it was fantastic!

Most middle or second books tend to lag. This didn’t.

While it is the second book in a series, it COULD act as a standalone. However, there is a “spoiler” here for those who haven’t read the first book, A Nanny for the Rancher’s Twins, so I’d HIGHLY recommend reading that first.

Returning from that book are Cora, Wade, Ethan and Laney. Main also introduces readers to:

🐎 Walker
🐎 Trisha
🎀 Sophie
🐎 Tommy
🎀 Gabby

Along with other ranch staff, and a “resident” – Wilbur, along with his two dogs. Oh, and puppies will be involved as well.

This will have some content that could be upsetting to some readers – the mention of a helicopter crash (prior to the book) and orphaned children. This also has some issues of parental neglect or rather parental disinterest, the mention of a DUI fatality involving an 18-wheeler.

That said ...

Main gets right into the story with Trisha arriving at Serenity Stables and recounting how she and Walker McCaw became the guardians to the three kids – (7) Sophie, (5) Tommy, and (3, almost 4) Gabby. Their parents were killed four (4) months earlier in a helicopter crash. Trisha and Walker – friends of Parker and Avery – were named as guardians.

Trisha, an Iowa University professor, feels inadequate at being a guardian. Then again, most parents do feel inadequate. Though the kids don’t seem to care and take right to her. And, she dearly adores them. She’ll do anything to take of them and secure their future – a future their parents wanted for them.

She is there for the summer to help Walker take care of the kids and transition the ranch to be self-sufficient. It doesn’t help matters when a slimy developer can’t wait to come in and take the property either. The developer seems to think they will fail. Walker and Trisha cannot fail – Serenity Stables is where the kids’ parents wanted to raise the kids. Losing the ranch isn’t an option. Though there are times neither Trisha or Walker are certain that Serenity Stables can make it.

From the beginning, Trisha plans to head back to her teaching job; and Walker is hoping his success will allow him to go back to his cyber-security job.

Right off, Walker makes a mistake costing them their barn manager, and almost loses two clients in the process. It is Trisha who comes to his aid and “saves” the day there in keeping the two clients there. She intermittently steps in as the barn manager.

It’s clear they’ve each got baggage when it comes to romance. For Walker, it is feelings responsible for killing his wife – Phoebe in an accident (as of note – he was NOT at fault). For Trisha – it is her father rejecting and neglecting her after her mother’s death. In addition, when her fiancé rejected her, his parents dropped a job offer which caused her to relocate to Iowa. She wonders if she is truly unlovable – her father didn’t want her, her fiancé didn’t want her – who would want her?

For now, Trisha and Walker’s focus is the children and the ranch. Though they do seem to differ on their ideas. Once they get together as partners, things do seem to be going their way – to a point. It’s also clear Walker has a lot to learn about community relations as well. There’s also the case of Wilbur, an older relative of the former owners. He lives on the property with a couple of dogs, and Walker isn’t quite sure about the man. Though, he’ll come to rely on his advice and help. And, the man is great with the kids. Trisha sees him more as a bonus grandfather for the kids. He adores the kids and they adore him – it’s a win/win scenario.

Sophie laments that she’s going to miss Trisha when she goes back to Iowa, and despite video chatting, it is clear the girl is attached. She also complains is that “Walka” never seems to do anything with them. Trisha reminds him to “stop and smell the roses” and spend time with the kids, something they need. She’s also wondering why he went to college when his family’s farm, the Triple C, was right there for him to work.

Walker realizes the kids need a mom. He’s fairly certain Trisha is a great candidate, though he doesn’t have plans to remarry.

In addition to helping Walker, Trisha is also helping mentor a student – Lauren. It is clear that Trisha is torn between being a mentor to the girl, and being a mother figure to the three kids in her care. But, despite her own reservations about being good enough, she definitely has a maternal instinct. Still, she has her career and her focus is on that.

As with any romance when there are roadblocks, Walker and Trisha have to overcome what holds them back in order to grab the future in front of them. For Trisha it would be giving up her career for a man like she did before. For Walker, it is getting over the fact he wasn’t able to protect his wife who was killed in an accident.

Yet, together – and with the kids – they have what they need right there. Getting over the past might be the easiest part when a storm bears down and threatening an event that could secure their future. They might lose the future before they even get started.

I would suggest a small pack of tissues because this is a heart-breaking, emotional, sweet, and inspiring read. It was definitely a bit hard to put down though once I got to reading it. The author drew me right in, and I felt like I had a ringside seat to the fun as well as frustrations. I absolutely LOVED the small-town feel, as well as Walker’s family who took to Trisha and the kids.

The only part I have a problem with, and this is true for a lot of books – the characters and their “baggage” of either not wanting to get a heart broken again, feeling guilty about something that was beyond their control, or feeling like they’re never enough. Though without it, sometimes a story wouldn’t work. It can still be a bit tedious though.

The romance doesn’t really get going until about 80% into the book though. It is definitely a “slow-burn” romance, but the story doesn’t lag. There are plenty of other tidbits to keep the reader’s interest.

I absolutely related to the residents’ concerns about the slimy developers targeting their town. Outside the fictional pages, this is a very real and growing problem for some cities, and there have even been news reports on it.

Even where I am living – which isn’t a small town by any means, despite being a suburb of a LARGE city – has been no stranger to the practices. Big developers or corporations buy up smaller housing tracts and/or rental complexes. At first, the changes are subtle, then they renovate and price locals completely out of their housing, or community. This has been done in many areas, including a mobile home park here in Las Vegas. Even my townhome complex has experienced a similar issue. In January 2016, it was sold for $24 million, yet 20 months later (September 2018), another company bought it $64 million. The value (as of 2021) is only $18 million. One has to wonder about the true motives about such a transaction. I’m the type to use two apps (my account and my mother’s) to get a deal even at a burger place. I can’t imagine spending over 3x the value of a property to get it 🙄

If I didn’t have evidence, it would be an interesting plot in a book – sadly, it’s quite real. So, the author definitely added some reality to that part of the story. In fact, she did such a good job, I really had an urge to punch the two men who showed up at Serenity Stables, quite a strong urge.

Since this is from the Love Inspired line, there will be some elements of faith in it. They are very subtle so as not to seem “preachy” to the reader.

I’m definitely looking forward to the next book as there are some loose ends from this book that I’d like to see resolved – even if they’re only mentioned. As of note, the slimy developers can walk off the page and NOT return. Well, if they do come back and slip in some horse manure, I won’t cry 🐎💩🤣

Those who read the author’s first book are definitely going to want to read this, as well as those who love stories about kids, horses, and ranches.

An enjoyable sweet romance with a good message of how God doesn't intend for us to hold ourselves accountable for things outside of our control.

I really enjoyed how the children played a central role in bringing Walker and Trisha together.

Such a sweet story of found family, forgiveness and romance. Walker McCaw and Trisha Campbell grew up in the same friend group but were thrown together for a noble cause when they became guardians to their good friends’ children. Walker carried on himself the heavy burden of guilt over his wife’s passing while Trisha was dealing with her own emotional family baggage and a broken engagement when the two joined forces one summer to smooth the way for their three orphan charges. Walker’s extreme level of guilt caused a ripple effect in Trisha, testing the positive dynamics of their partnership. But it was heartwarming to read how the two came together on the same page while overcoming personal and outside challenges. I also enjoyed several of the side characters and animals who made appearances in the story.

A FAMILY FOR THE ORPHANS by Heidi Main is the second book in the Triple C Ranch series. It’s the fabulous story of Trisha Campbell, Iowa State University professor, and Walker McCaw, who works for a cybersecurity company, as they become instant co-guardians of three young children (Sophie – 7, Tommy – 5, and Gabby – 3) when their best friends were killed.

All of Trisha’s life, she’s been either ignored, pushed to side or discarded. She’s been made to feel as if she’s never enough and unlovable. First it was with her parent – with a mother that was first too sick to be a mom and then pasted away when Trisha was very young and a father who just didn’t seem to care about her. Then when she thought she’d found her happily ever after, her fiancée dumped her a short time before the wedding and his parents pulled their offer for the job she’d dreamed of. It led to her moving off and changing professions. Although she’s been very successful, her life still felt like it was missing something. One thing for sure, with her bad choices of the past, she’s sworn off men. Feeling unworthy, there will be no relationships or happily ever after family scenes in her future.

Walker had always felt that there wasn’t anything meaningful left for him on the farm to do since his brothers were doing it all so well. So, he got an education and went in a completely different direction than working a cattle farm. He’d considered himself successful until the death of his friends had him changing his life path and seeing another way his life could go. Maybe returning to your roots and doing what you know and loved wasn’t so bad after all.

As co-guardians, Trisha and Walker had agreed to finish purchasing the horse ranch that Parker & Avery were in the process of buying. It was where they had wanted to raise their children. They decided to try to honor their wishes and raise the kids there. But can they make it work? Although Trisha had been there at first, for the last few months it’s only been Walker trying to keep the ranch going and tending to the kids hands on when she went back to her job in Iowa. He’d taken a leave of absence to be on the farm. He's spread thin feeling like he’s not making successful progress at anything. As a professor, Trisha’s job allows her the summer off, he’s thrilled to have her back at the farm to help out. Until she arrived, he didn’t realize how much of a help it would be to have her there. She’s a whiz with the kids, keeps him focused and is fabulous filling in as the barn manger. The problem is he’s starting to look at her with new eyes. That’s something that can NOT happen! He failed his wife and it cost her life. With the fear of failure, he won’t risk any relationships in the future because he just can’t go through that pain again.

Will they be able to get Serenity Stables into the black making it possible to fulfill the wishes of the children’s deceased parents? Can they keep the stables and the land out of the hands of Silver Developers, who are determined to buy the property changing the lay of the land into a housing development? Can Trisha and Walker work together to help the children work their way through their grief and feel like a family unit? What journey will the relationship between Trisha and Walker take? Will past fears sit up roadblocks? Can they overcome them? Or will faith and prayer get the over the huddles put before them? Will the children’s wishes really come true? Will the love of three little children and the ranch life bind them all into one happy family?

A FAMILY FOR THE ORPHANS is the incredible story of how to walk in faith, turn your troubles over to God, and believe that dreams can come true. Heidi Main will have you falling in love with three precious children suffering from the loss of their parent and resiliently move forward guided by people around them that love them. You’ll see through the wonderful thread of faith how things we fear can either direct us or defeat us. Most times it’s our own fears that prevents our happiness. Trisha and Walker both show us that and how beautiful life can be once we sit those fears aside. We also see how each of us have our own talents, but it’s when there is a fusion of those talents that great things can and do happen. A FAMILY FOR THE ORPHANS will have you quickly turning pages in this FIVE STAR book and be recommending it to everyone just as I am.

I receive an ARC of this book with no requirement or expectations of a review. All opinions are completely my own.

A Family for the Orphans by Heidi Main
An Uplifting Inspirational Romance (Triple C Ranch Book 2)
Three little hearts have been broken.
Now they must find a way to heal them…
Tragedy turned Walker McCaw from bachelor cowboy to guardian of his late best friend’s three children. Now they’re living on a new horse farm—and it’s a disaster. Trisha Campbell’s arrival couldn’t come at a better time. Together, they’ll need to work to save the struggling farm. But it takes more than hard work to make a family. It takes courage and love…
This is Walker McCaw his late best friend’s three children Sophie, Tommy ,Gabby and Trisha Campbell’s story.
Trepidation over the coming months clawed Trisha Campbell’s gut as she gripped the smooth metal handle and pushed open the farmhouse door. She grinned at what sounded like a herd of stampeding elephants coming from above. Walker and the kids must have heard her arrival and scrambled to the top of the stairwell. She was excited about seeing Sophie, Tommy and Gabby again, but her smile dimmed at the sorrowful reason she was here—the sweet children had suddenly become orphans.
Trisha closed the front door behind her, trapping the humid Texas air outside; she hoped moving to the country and living in a different home would help the children.
Four months ago, Walker McCaw was named guardian to Parker and Avery’s three young children after the horrific helicopter accident.
Trisha, an Iowa State University professor, had been named backup guardian. She hadn’t felt the least bit competent to ease their pain since her role models had been lousy. Especially after Sophie’s freak-out on her first-grade graduation day, Tommy pretending like nothing had changed, and Gabby’s constant teary-eyed missing her mommy and daddy.
Why had God taken Parker and Avery and left these children orphaned?
I recommend this book..

Once again Heidi Main has tugged on my heartstrings. The premise of this story is so sad as three young children have tragically lost their parents. Their parents named two of their best friends as co-guardians of their children. Walker McCaw is taking care of the children at the family's dream home, Serenity Stables. It was their dream that their children be raised on this farm. The co-guardian is Trisha Campbell. She is a college professor and has arrived for the summer to help with the children. Both Walker and Trisha have suffered loss in the past which has formed them into the people they are today. They have a hard job ahead of them. The farm is in the red, and they need to save it. There is a greedy developer breathing down their neck wanting to swoop in and take the property. They also have three brokenhearted children to raise and help them through their grief. The children's loss has made them wise beyond their years. They often wonder why their friends thought they were capable of raising their children.

This was a bittersweet story with many facets. There were some difficult times with the children as certain triggers would set them off as they had a memory of mom or dad. I shed a few tears.
Trisha needed some reassurance. Her ego has taken a hit, and she needs someone to believe in her. Walker feels responsible for a past loss in his life. In other words this is a messed up family, but we all have messed up lives at one time or another. Their saving grace is their faith. Their journey of self-discovery in their own lives will cause them to pray believing in what they are praying. The children were precious. I wanted to reach into the book and wrap my arms around this family. They needed each other, but they needed to learn to have true faith and lean on that faith. Horse lovers will thoroughly enjoy this book. This is another winner for Heidi Main.

Thank you the author for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I have been on a huge Love Inspired kick lately and have been loving these sweet, little escapes. Though A Family for the Orphans starts out on such a bittersweet note it captured my heart and tugged on my heartstrings.

Walker is suddenly a guardian to three little cherubs after his best friends tragically die in a car accident. Another friend, Trisha, is to help co-parent the children, but her job has kept her away from Texas until this summer. Walking by faith and not by sight is easier said than done as we see Walker and Trisha upend their lives to make the dreams of their departed friends come true for their three surviving children by purchasing a horse farm that is barely staying in the red. Now they have to figure out the next step and what is best for the children as they try to keep the farm afloat.

Though it was a sweet read, there wasn’t really anything that made this novel truly special. The kids were super cute and the characters likable, but there wasn’t really anything that sets this novel apart for any other sweet romance. The whole time I was reading I was wishing for something that never came, though there was a tiny little suspenseful part that broke up the story nicely, but I still wished there was more.

For me, what made this novel was the children themselves. Poor Sophia, the oldest of the orphans, is struggling more than the other two and I loved seeing Walker and Trisha comfort her and help all three children cope during such a tough time. A precious touch that I can’t help but admire is how the kids call Walker ‘Walker’ and Trisha ‘Tish.’ Nicknames are huge in my household and overtime I saw the dialogue it brought a smile to my face.

Overall, though nothing too special, this is still a very sweet story that is a quick read and a nice escape.
