Love and danger. A fight for her life. A time-traveling cowboy. Freelance writer Megan McClure doesn't expect any of those while on assignment in Fort Worth, Texas in 1981. She's minding her own business when a locked door in her room in a historic B&B slams open and in runs a cowboy named Seth O'Connor. He claims he's from 1877, which of course is impossible. Until he proves otherwise. Seth visits Megan often. As they learn about each other's lives and different eras, their friendship deepens. Megan knows a romance can only lead to heartbreak. He lives in the past and died years ago. She finds his grave in the cemetery, and passion in his arms. Then Megan buys a vintage dress, meets a 100-year-old woman, and receives an old letter from a desperate source explaining why Seth came to her, and what she must do. If she can find her way to the past. If she can help Seth. If they both survive.
Seth's Door is a great, easy to get involved with Love Story. Seths Door has lots of twists and turns amidst the back ground of traveling back and forth in time. Linda Carlow has done a fantastic job of weaving a tale about life's choices, the elusive nature of time, and the search for true love. Seth's Door is full of interesting details about life in Fort Worth Texas during the Urban Cowboy era of the early 80's.. Linda weaves in some great details of Ft. Worth history as the story unfolds. She did a good job of transporting me back and forth between these two interesting worlds. Great book! Its perfect for a sequel! It would also make a great love story movie.
