Rory Reynolds is a stay-at-home mom of two little monsters. She's a ravenous reader of romance and firmly believes that you can never have too many book boyfriends.
She writes feisty heroines, alpha heroes, and panty drenching smut with happily ever afters.
This is the last book in the playground series!! And it's about Aiden the owner of the place! We seen him in the series and saw he's a grumpy Gil lol. And he has his hands full with his babygirl who happens to be his best friends sister.
Ivy has been though stuff that no one knows but her bestie well few details not all, she doesn't wanna inform her brother or anyone since she drop out thinking the problem would go away. It does for abit until ivy and Roman say duck it and start seeing eachother.
We see some ups and downs between the two that even had Roman push Ivy away until stalker gets more aggressive and has Ivy pushing him and quiting. So we get some Pinning and little angst with them separated but that doesnt stop Roman from keeping someone on her even if he can't. My heart broke for both. Things wrapped up nicely we did have brother and Roman argument even after the Epilogue.
We may have a hint of Bestie and brother.
No ow drama/Om drama (stalker),No cheating, slight secondary character, drama, sexy times, virgin gal was a manwhore in his 20s not now.

23-year-old Ivy should be happily approaching the countdown of her last semester and anticipating college graduation, but instead, she is unhappily and fearfully withdrawing from her final classes needed to graduate. After repeatedly seeking the support and intervention of the college’s security and the town’s police forces, the beautiful, sweetly innocent blue-eyed blonde with long, wavy curls, is packing to return home.
It seems that despite her filing stalking and intimidation complaints and most recently, the report of physical assault, in addition to her reports of inappropriate comments and touching and the evidence of inappropriate texts by her advisor, Professor Lockwood, her complaints were disregarded by the college security forces and the small college town’s police force when she her filed reports and testimony of the tenured professor’s pursuit. So, afraid to stay, even the weeks remaining until graduation and fearful of the escalation by the attention of the teacher who was regarded with respect as a community leader, she has given up, withdrawn from the university, and packed her bags to return home.
Now, back home at her brother Hudson’s house in Monett, her home for the decade since her parents’ death in a car accident, Ivy simply tells her brother that she has had enough of college. She was ready and eager to start her life. And, he doesn’t push her for details about her abrupt return, happy to have his sister home again. But, he does challenge her decision to work as PA for his best friend, Aiden, the successful owner of The Playground, a private, members-only adult sex club featuring daddy dominants and littles, her brother balks, questioning the appropriateness of such employment. But, Ivy is insistent that she’s not working in the club itself, but rather in the office.
Rory Reynolds weaves a tale filled with hot sex and terrifying threats keeping the reader’s emotions on a rollercoaster. I received a review copy, but will enjoy using my Kindle Unlimited account to explore other tales.
Cherishing His Babygirl, the seventh and final book of The Playground series, was about 23-year-old Ivy, a senior in college, and 40-year-old Aiden Cross, the owner of The Playground. After having been stalked, and then attacked, Ivy withdrew from her last semester in college and headed home. Although she had reported her stalker to campus security and the local police, no one believed her when she pointed her finger at her advisor, Professor Lockwood. Rather than staying in school, she returned home to where her brother lived. When Ivy learned that Aiden needed a new assistant at The Playground, she offered to fill the position. After arguing back and forth, Ivy's brother finally convinced Aiden she'd be a good fit for the job, so he said he'd give her a week's trial period. It didn't take long for things to heat up between the two of them. But then Ivy started getting texts, pictures, and messages from her stalker in which he threatened her and Aiden. So she did the only thing she could think to do, and that was quit her job and break up with him to keep him safe. This was an excellent ending to a fantastic series, especially as the series began with a stalker, only to end with a stalker. There was plenty of angst, drama, and spicy scenes, as well as a lot of twists and turns on the rollercoaster ride of emotions. Both main characters were well-developed and mature, with a lot of room for growth. There was only a little bit of push/pull between them, so there weren't too many fights or arguments, other than what would happen between a DD/lg. I gave this a five-star rating, and it will be added to the Keeper for the Shelves collection.
I'm new to reading Rory's books but so far I've loved them. You'll finish this book with a major chrush on Aiden ❤! With the chemistry between Aiden and Ivy you can't help but be drawn in. Aiden and Ivy have known each other a long time because he's Ivy's brothers best friend. Even though there's a major age gap (17 years) they get along great and have a great relationship. Sometimes things get tense between the two because they are trying to hide the relationship from Ivy's brother, Hudson. But they always kiss and make up, which by the way it seems like they are both addicted to making out. It bugged me that Ivy was so nonchalant about the stalking. Even though she knew he was capable of physical and mental abuse. When Hudson finds about them there is some animosity but during the hea he's come around to accept the relationship between his sister and best friend. It looks like Rory is laying some ground work for a book about Hudson and Ivy's best friend Layana and I can't wait to read it!!!
"Erase any doubts you have about that. I want you to be confident in my love for you and that I’ll always be by your side no matter what happens.” 🥰
I am voluntarily leaving a review after receiving a complimentary advanced reader copy.
I loved this latest story by Rory Reynolds. I couldn't put it down. I thought it was amazing. I loved the interactions between Ivy and Aiden. Aiden is looking for a new assistant to help him at The Playground Club. He never expected his best friend's little sister and his greatest temptation to offer to do it. He knows that it is a bad idea because she is so much younger and he wants her. He agrees on a trial run but is hoping that she fails. Ivy has dropped out of college because she has a stalker and has come home. She had a crush on Aiden growing up. She would love to have something more with him. Ivy does great at the job and Aiden doesn't know how much longer he can resist. They finally take a chance at a relationship but her stalker is back and she tries to keep it a secret. What will happen when he discovers what she is going through?
I received an ARC from the author/publisher for an honest review.
Meh, it was okay, brother's best friend with an age gap. Sneaking around, pretending there isn’t a stalker. A few big bad wolf references 🙄😂
It wasn’t awful, but I’m not in a rush to pick up any more of these books.
I didn’t like how she kinda just left her brother and didn’t really talk about everything with him. Especially after everything he’s done for her and he clearly adores his little sister.
Poor Hudson, I’d be interested in reading his book, but looking at the reviews, it’s a lot of push and pull. Honestly, I can’t be arsed with that 😂
Not telling your brother about a crazy stalker being the reason you leave college and come home abruptly is silly and stupid. Then when the stalker has followed her and broke in her house, taken pictures multiple times of her and the H, sends threatening texts etc. and she still doesn't tell anyone, she's an idiot. That was hard to stomach and read. I did finish the book and the falling in love aspect was well written. It was hard to overlook the h being so stupid though.
AHHHHH Aiden!!! Aiden is so fun but for sure the GRUMPIEST. DADDY. EVER.
I do believe this is the best one so far in the entire playground series and that is because of the writing style - I do believe that the author stepped it up and it is NOT giving “YA”. I love the plot line of her working for him and them coming together - I loved seeing the details of that.
best thing about this book is THE BEST FRIENDS LITTLE SISTER/BROTHERS BEST FRIEND TROPE. 100%.
Loved this book. It always good when the story has a taboo or off-limits situation. It usually made for an interesting read and if it was well written, it will be certainly enjoyable. This book has certainly had it all. Lovable characters, good plot and off the charts chemistry between the main characters. Recommended!
Aiden is in love with his best friend’s little sister, but he is too old for her. Ivy is in love with her brother’s best friend, but she has a stalker! This spicy wonderful age-gap, Daddy-Dom romance has everything! This is definitely going to be a re-read over and over again!
The female lead. Ivy, was ridunculus in her repeated poor choices from the first page. Rather than deepen the plot and characters outside of the sex scenes, both leads would act and respond out of character of daddy dom/ baby girl just to create repeated easy-to- solve conflicts (but get dragged out) just to get to the next smoking hot sex scene.
I really enjoyed this enticing read. Ivy and Aidan's romance was a tempting blend of heat, emotion, drama and suspense that grabbed and held my interest easily. Loved the best friend’s little sister tope and the DD/lg kink. Altogether, a very fun read. I am electing to post a candid review.
I am saddened that this is the last in the Playground series but Ms Reynolds saves the best for last. Aiden and Ivy are the perfect couple. Watching them come tonight is romantic (and hot).
I don’t like daddy kink so idk why I read it lol. This has stalking but not the fun kind. Boss and employee plus brothers best friend. AND age gap lol. Wow this had all the tropes lol but it was just okay to me.
Aiden & Ivy stories is one of my favorites in the series. Their character development was amazing to see. I adored their relationships with the secondary characters as well.
Only frustration is why always when someone has a stalker and they threaten the ones they love..and also them, does the person being stalked always keep it a secret? Why would you not think telling the ones threatened about it? The big guys they love would definitely keep them safe.
I read this so fast. I love the fact that he didn't ever quit fighting for ivy. Their story was passion and love and just has all the feels! Love love loved it!
Well stalker scenes in books where the fmc is so lost in her own thoughts she did not inform the SO in her life is kinda a bad decision that always ends up badly
