Mia (Sinclair’s Bestfriend) but her story and the side characters go through so many obstacles. It definitely shows how you can marry the wrong person.. oh the spice and woooow. Definitely good book two!

I really enjoyed Chrystal's second outing to Lakewood. This one focuses on Mia, Sinclair's best friend (I definitely recommend reading Broken before picking up this one) and Jesse, an obgyn brought in to be Sin's doctor after the events of broken.

Mia is trying to cope with the loss of Noah, he's the only person who really knew her. She throws herself into kickboxing to get rid of her aggression towards the world, and still makes a point to go visit Calum every weekend.

Jesse is running from a crumbling marriage, his wife asks for an open marriage and he agrees... but deeply regrets it when she shuts him out.

This book will bring you into the world of bdsm, and you learn with Mia as they explore. Will this last or will Mia end up with a broken heart again?

Omg 😱 I absolutely loved this story!! I have read books about BDSM and they were just too idk how to say it but they just made me very uncomfortable. However, the way Chrystal wrote this story is wasn’t uncomfortable. It was deliciously written with just the perfect amount of kink and plot. I will say Jesse is definitely in my top book boyfriends now and that I absolutely loved how he fit so perfectly with the group from Broken and how he was able to be exactly what Mia needed. It was an absolutely incredible story that I didn’t want to end! I can’t wait to see what is next!

Holy crap! I loved this book. Definitely recommend this book and the first one “Broken”.
I will say that this book sucked me in, and if I didn’t love BDSM before you can bet I definitely do now. Crystal did a amazing job! Can’t wait for the next Lakewood series book!!

Chrystal does it again with another amazing book. I was expecting a good book. What I got was an amazing story of friends, family, and love. The book touches on a subject most don't. I have to say it's the first one I read that gets BDSM right. The spicy scenes are amazing. I'm telling you it's worth a read just for those. Really, I love the themes intertwined in the book, especially one of accepting those around you for who they are. The cast of family and friends that are created have such great character. Chrystal brings them to life so well. I highly recommend this book to all.

Chrystal has me so wrapped up in her Lakewood series. I am loving these books! I honestly screamed at certain points but not in a bad way. They both have left me speechless. Mia is beautiful, strong, and doesn’t quite understand herself in certain things. Jesse is handsome, smart but caught up in his own mess of a life. They’re finding each other out and their boundaries. These two were made for each other and deserve each other. The plot is amazing and will keep you on your toes. The sexy scenes are spicy. I recommend to book lovers who love being kept on their toes and screaming at books!

Just when I thought broken was #1, bound quickly took its place. Romance with a BDSM twist. Bound had me reading nonstop and I didn’t want it to end. I can’t wait for the third series to come out!

I adored the characters in this dark romance book. The journey they went on separately and together. Lots of k1nky sm3xy times to keep me happy, and a real look into the ramifications of marrying the wrong person. Nicely paced, I wanted to keep turning the pages to find out where the relationship would go. Funny in parts and lots of emotional searching. Highly recommend.
