Coming to Verassis is unlike anything Marcus expected. I mean who expects their welcoming party to be so hostile. With a King to deal with, an army to recruit, and a city to repopulate, will Marcus be able to keep leveling up and growing stronger?

Marcus's city is empty. Rez-Ingel was the former capital of the Creator, the owner of the Scarred Lands. With the god giving it over to Marcus, he finally has a place to gather an army. But first he will need residents and a way for them to live. The hardest part is only certain people will be able to move to this recently discovered city.

As for the King, how will he win him over? How torn will the city become when these two powerful figures collide. And why is the King so against the Voice in the first place? Marcus has several questions, and only two ways to answer peace or conflict. Not to mention this country is supposed to be the start of his army. Marcus has a lot to learn if he's going to play politics.

For the first time in Voice of the Gods, multiple POVs are used. From this book on, that will be the case.

This book contains unconventional relationships.
No sex scenes are described in this book.

I like to keep my bio simple. A few updates and a small mention that all of my books have a tinge of romance involved.

Ashen Realm: Book two will be coming out at the beginning of February. The third book is nearly ready as well. I'm hoping to have it published in April.

Fenrir's series; I will be releasing the fourth book at the beginning of the year around March.

Dimension Dungeon 3 is in the works still. I'm not sure when I'll get it out, but know that I am working on it.

World Champion has been launched, and the second book will be out near the beginning of the year. There will not be a preorder for it, so keep an eye out.

Okay, but

This book seems like a filler book than an advancement in the storyline. One second their in a hurry then instead of advancing ahead of the demons they're staying in one Kingdom. Also, personally, I don't like Tallia she makes the MC seem weak and irrelevant, how can he be the voice of anything if she controlling every aspect of his life including talking and treats like a child. I don't know how anyone can respect him as the voice of the gods when he's not allowed to talk and make decisions for himself. Lastly, I was hoping this was not one of those harem books where a harem serves no purpose and just takes away from story but I was wrong. His relationship with Amber serves no purpose and just seems like some prepubescent dream rather than a serious thought out addition to the story, an extra complication and another way to make him seem like a weak.

good start them down hill

The author spent the first two books building the characters , especially Marcus and Tallia , you even allowed for Marcus 's social awkwardness due to his illness , but in book three Marcus suddenly knows things , how to dance for example and the harem scenario rears it's head ,the Tallia from earlier would never have shared him with anyone , the gods give them a resurrection circle so nobody can die this making the fights even more boring as nothing is at stake and then you get some fights that they stroll through and other that are hard but there is no logic to which is which and to cap it all Marcus has been given everything on a plate and near the end a bit of adversary arrived and he falls to pieces.I really enjoyed the start of this series but book 3 was more like a young adult luvvy story and I don't see me reading four.

The new writing style is an improvement.

But the storyline is still forced. The romance goes directly against what was mentioned in book one and the entire King subplot is needlessly extended.

Not the best.

***SPOILERS*** Not the best, hopefully the next one is better. Throwing in relationship issues to add drama is so cliche. Come on author, do better! The naivety of the mc is getting tiresome. The issue with the king was stupid. How many people did he have to kill before they took care of the problem? This actually made me slightly dislike the mc.

Cute but also growing up

All the characters seemed like children before the attack on their parents. They have slowly shown growth, and then they prove growth by massive leaps. I was surprised at the harem addition, but it's cute. Seeing Marcus spiraling at the end was heartbreaking. I loved that each chapter specified whose pov it was. The ones that overlapped had me confused when others didn't overlap. I usually hate pov changes, but this tiny change made it okay for me.

Squirrel is not tasty!

In the. Second book McKttrick wrote about the tasty, succulent squirrel. If you have ever eaten squirrel you would find it dry, tough and not particularly tasty. My grandfather shot a squirrel for me and my cousin, and our grandmother cooked it for us city folk. Ha!
Good Writing once again. A very enjoyable series!

Why have a bonded couples

I was so impressed with the 1st book, I downloaded 2 and 3. Then Amber started catching feelings for Marcus. I actually starting skipping over Amber's parts. It took away from the action. Mavis on the other hand, needs her own book, she is just bad ass!!!

Started off ok but got worse

It's an interesting concept but it gets very boring of this person's (point of view aka pov) I started skipping whole chapters to the point I said self find something else to read.

Urgh, it's not like I need a trigger warning for the new harem aspects, but as far as I remember, it was explicitly stated in an earlier book that it would not turn into a harem story. Some advance hints would have been nice. It is not even good for character development, it just feels like an artificial issue introduced to have more filler content.
