Godwink Moments!

"Match Made in Heaven" is a novel written by Eden Larsen. I began reading the episodes on the Kindle Vella app and loved them. I read about 22 of the episodes before continuing on in the novel. This is a really good story of Faith-built lessons. This is the story of Jade, Eric, and Eric's seven-year-old daughter, Eden. It is also the story of Jade's mother, Willow, a hippy who has tested out many different religions, but mainly settling in a firm belief of romantic matches involving Zodiac signs. For example, Willow, a Wiccan, believes her marriage to Jade's father, a Catholic, was doomed because of his Zodiac sign not being in alignment with her own sign. Jade is a Taurus, so she's looking for a Cancer or Capricorn, according to her mother's predictions. Jade has recently joined the Jesus Christ if Latterday Saints/Mormon religion in Utah. There, she meets Eric, whom she thinks is probably a Sagittarius, which is supposedly not a good sign for a Taurus match. She is currently dating, and engaged to Austin, a Cancer, but he dumps her to go on a military mission. Jade and Eric continue to meet at the church's singles events. She also meets Eric's daughter, Eden. As time goes by, Jade, Eric and Eden all fall in love with each other. Even though she has feelings for Eric, Jade continues to go through a dating app to find her perfect astrological match. She goes on a few dates, but none of them work out and she constantly thinks of Eric, even calling him and talking to him about her not so great dates. He tells her he really likes her, he kisses her more than once, and she kisses him back, but she's still hung up on the whole Zodiac stuff. Will Jade finally love Eric, even not really knowing what his astrological sign is? Or will she lose that once in a lifetime love that everybody wishes for? I gave this book 5 stars and recommend it to everyone who believes in Godwink moments, which is God, Our Heavenly Father,making our romantic matches for us.

Out of the mouths’ of babes
Gotta admit it’s time to start looking for another spouse when your five year-old requests it. Sometimes, kids know what their needs are better than adults do.
I’m a step-parent myself (non-custodial) with a step-parent (as an adult) and four late “step” grandparents (both of my parents had one of each). So, I can attest to the importance of kids being ready for a new parent. My suggestion is to prep them before dating and feel out their concerns. Better to address them in general terms rather than about a specific person who’s been brought home to meet them.
It’s important to sort out what one wants and doesn’t want before dating for marriage. Where to live & worship, how many & who will work outside the home, kids or no kids, etc.
With all the cupcakes, donuts, French toast, ice cream, pancakes, and popcorn – who’d miss alcohol?

Adorable book. Little Eden wants her daddy to find a new mummy . How he goes about it with the help of one adorable little girl is charming . He stays in the friend zone after meeting Jade who is strictly a zodiacal match kinda gal . She won’t date certain star signs so he’s ok as a friend,even though he’d like it to be more . Will they won’t they romance at it’s best . Great Author , love her work with a passion

Loved Eden. Sweet, loving, matchmaking little girl. Family really does take on a personality all it's own. Is there a sequel? There should be - about Eden.

This is a great story of a strong woman working her way through life and love and religion. I enjoyed this story and the deep topics that the characters worked their way through. A great read.
