Normally when you say, “I have a stalker,” you think bad thoughts. That wasn’t the kind of stalker Folsom was when it came to Kobe Sano. Folsom liked to call herself a “guardian angel in disguise.”
The first time he catches her attention, he’s been assigned to hunt her down and throw away the key. All she did was steal someone else’s child. Well, embryo, that is. What Kobe doesn’t know, though, is the man that hired him is up to no good, and she has no other choice but to run without looking back.
From that moment on, she spends the rest of her spare time running away from him while also digging into every nook and cranny of his personal life, finding every weakness he has and utilizing it any way she needs to keep herself one step ahead of him.
Only one day, when she goes to do her usual snooping, she finds out that not only is her favorite person in trouble, but he’s also in need of her help.
Too bad it takes her years to find that help.
Her next step is to break him out of the pokey prison-break style.
If she knew he’d go without question, she very well might have.

It didn’t take a genius to know when someone was stalking you. The signs were all there, and they eventually pointed right at Folsom.
When he figures it out, he plans to confront her and maybe address the silent sexual tension that’s been brewing between them for the last few years.
However, right when he’s ready to admit to himself that she might be the one—daughter who intimidates the hell out of him or not—she up and disappears for a year.
In that year, he spends every waking moment searching for her.
And eventually he finds her, confronts her, and is hit in the face with the secrets she’s kept from him for years.
One of which is a big one.
The daughter that she protects with everything she has—the one that he’s come to love with all his heart, just like her mom—is the very abducted child from his one and only unsolved case.
Lani Lynn Vale is married to the love of her life that she met in high school. She fell in love with him because he was wearing baseball pants. Ten years later they have three perfectly crazy children and a cat named Demon who likes to wake her up at ungodly times in the night. They live in the greatest state in the world, Texas. She writes contemporary and romantic suspense, and has a love for all things romance. You can find Lani in front of her computer writing away in her fictional characters world...that is until her husband and kids demand sustenance in the form of food and drink.
The last book of this series and my favorite! It was great " seeing" members of The Dixie Wardens and Soul Chapel MC's in this book along with Gator Bait MC. The next series looks interesting and the Doctor and Val looks to be a future couple.
After being told that I'd be due for a surprise because the main character was given an overhaul, I didn't know what to expect. Would I even like the new and improved Folsom?
Well, let me tell you...
I DID!!
Folsom was sweet, kind and generous. She also had a knack for being all up in your business and you not even knowing it. She'd help you in ways you didn't even know you needed. She would do anything for her daughter and for those she chose to love.
She was also a woman of mystery. While she was very blunt, she wasn't very forthcoming about her circumstances. And I liked it! It gave her character an air of intrigue that kept me guessing. Even at the end of the book, I'm still wondering if I got her full story.
Kobe was a man who I struggled to get to know in the previous books. It seemed like even the men he served time with had a hard time really knowing this guy. But Folsom found a way and I loved how her meddling created an atmosphere in which they could truly connect.
There are hit men, weird contracts, missing persons, and an easy kind of 'oops I felt into it' love.
I'm still a bit broken hearted over what Kobe had to go through to get his happy ending, but it was a sweet ending and I'm so glad these two unknowns found such happiness with each other.
Ever since getting glimpses of Folsom in the series Welcome to The Circus I just had to read her book. It was amazeballs.
I adore Folsom and what life has thrown at her and she handled it all. You want to do the something big for your best friend and get used for it.
Folsom manages to find a way out of her situation being an awesome hacker and in a time of need she had a white knight. That white knight she has protected the last ten years in a good stalker way. Folsom manages to pull it off without it being creepy.
I didn't expect that turn of events. Who needs enemies when you have that kind of family.
I'm sure I'll back track and start at the beginning of the series.
This one was amazing. I fucking loved it. I can't wait for the new series. I loved how this story flows and that it was so different from all the others.
The two most mysterious characters finally come out and play👏👏 Kobe and Folsom are just magical and I absolutely loved this story. LLV is an amazing author and she’s ensured she connected most of her series’s together for this one in such a way it’s breathtaking❣️
This is by far my favourite book and couple of the series and the ending was just as good…plus a sneak peek at the books that are next to come which has ratcheted up by excitement levels immensely🤩
I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️
I’ll Just Date Myself is the final book in the Gator Bait MC Series and I was so excited when it dropped onto my kindle. Lani Lynn Vale is one of those authors who takes her stories over the top and are almost out of the realm of possible but it doesn’t upset me.
Folsom is a character that has been on the periphery for a long time, and as you read this story, you realize she showed up in a previous series. Lynn and the Souls Chapel men as well as the men from FREE make appearances in this book and I loved the cross over.
These two have circled each other for a long time, and Folsom has a little bit of stalker tendencies. She doesn’t abide by the typical rules of life and there are lines that she has zero issue crossing. Boundaries don’t really exist for her, but as you get to know her background you understand the reasoning for the lack of boundaries. Although, when Folsom realizes that her past has come to find her again, she runs and leaves the people she has truly come to care about.
During this running, we get to meet the upcoming characters for Lani Lynn Val and they are dynamic. Kobe is a man that has some hang-ups from his past. His family is terrible and he has zero contact with them because of circumstances that happened. While his hang-ups and reactions to both Folsom and her daughter JP in the beginning was frustrating you could understand the challenges and preconceived notions that he held.
But it wouldn’t be a Vale book without a moment that seems out of this world. And the way in which it goes down was unexpected. These books are the type that you just really need to read because talking to much about them gives so much away.
Connor Crais and Rose Dioro are the perfect fit for Kobe and Folsom, and create a treat for my ears. They each encapsulate the characters perfectly.
POV: Dual 1st Person Put out percentage: 64% Tropes: Single Mom; Heroine on the Run; Stalker Romance; Series Ender; Slow Burn Series: Gator Bait MC Type of Series: Series of Standalones Rate: 5/5 Stars Release Date: June 27, 2023 Audio narrators if you did the audio book: Connor Crais and Rose Dioro Is there a 3rd act break up: No
Lani never fails me and Folsoms book turned out to be my favourite of the series. I just loved her and her stalking shenanigans.
Kobe is the unapologetically unapproachable, can't get a read on him man of the group. He doesn't bother with niceties. He doesn't make small talk. Hell He doesn't even show you an ounce of attention if you don't matter. This man's story broke my heart. I totally understood why he was the way he was. Hell I would've been mad. He just perfected not giving a damn. See this man when he gives you attention, when you matter to him... he gives you the world. His sole focus. You become the center of his everything and that's what Folsom became for him.
Folsom is definitely different. She lacks boundaries, especially with loved ones. She's blunt and loose cannon but she loves hard with her whole being and that means she will cross any line to make sure your good. Even if you don't want it. Lord this woman had me rocking hard at her creepy stalker antics and not a care to give attitude. She worked hard. She protected fiercely and is loyal to a fault. She's also the best momma to her legit mini, JP. Her lack of boundaries with Kobe are everything. I died laughing so hard.
These two are dysfunctional to say the least but they cracked me. It started with them or more him being biased and frustrated and ended with them loving eachother so completely they became a whole being. It was sweet and hilarious and at times heartbreaking as much as it was spicy and swoony. They had me all in my feelings rooting for them and their crazy brand of love. They just made sense despite being so completely opposite.
Of course I freaking loved the side characters who brought so much fun, JP being a slay queen of dry liners. It was so exciting getting to see a peak into the Singh circus!. Also.... Felix freaking Kent. Sir. HELLO.
I loved this one and all the crazy, sweet, funny, heartbreaking and swoon worthy moments thay came with Folsom and Kobe's journey. It was a rollercoaster but, what a ride.
There was something about this one that just drew me in and made me fall for all of the characters. I loved Folsom, who previously has been on the edges and I wasn't sure what to think of her. Loved Kobe, even as surly as he was. Loved JP and how matter of fact she was and very well adjusted for all that went on in her life. All of them together was just the chef's kiss!
I especially loved how Folsom told Kobe about their past and what she did to help and hinder him. But the biggest tell she had for him was when he learned that she trusted him with her most precocious thing. I liked that once Kobe found Folsom (and JP), the came up with a plan that would make sure that both were protected and could come home. I hated how they didn't realize that Kobe might need to be protected as well, hated even more the drama that went on. You knew that all would be good in the end, but it took a bit of time, but eventually everyone was safe and they could live their lives.
I enjoyed the not so secret, secret that Folsom had and how she kept teasing Kobe about it, him being clueless. But better was seeing them a few years in the future, getting the best revenge, living well!

I'll Just Date Myself is book 7 in the Gator Bait MC series by Lani Lynn Vale. Finally we get Folsom's story! The couple in this book is Kobe and Folsom. Two of the most mystifying people yet they make for great reading. Folsom is a woman who doesn't understand what boundaries are. She is plainspoken, and a firebrand. She loves her family and friends hard and pure. Folsom is a mom to daughter, her little mini. Kobe has this hate/love relationship with Folsom. He was aloof, unconcerned with proprietary. He doesn't care about who anyone is. But yet.. He has a past that will just break you up inside and have you in tears. When Kobe does give you attention, the sun will shine on you and heaven will sing... Folsom is Kobe's stalker. She is totally head over heels for him. However she has a past that might come back to bit her. The past ties her and Kobe together. The chemistry between them is sizzling hot. Book moves fast, great characters and fantastic banter. The ending was awesome. Can't wait for the next series to start!!!
We've been waiting for this one and finally got the story of Folsom and Kobe. It wasn't what I expected, but the story was good, and both Folsom and Kobe were pure LLV goodness, with some Souls Chapel Revenants, Freebirds, Dixie Wardens, and Bear Bottom Guardians to sweeten the story. It was glorious!
Folsom is so smart and wicked talented with her skills it only added to her overall persona. I loved her character. Kobe was trying so hard to stay away from her, but he couldn't, and they made a perfect pair. Throw in her genius daughter JP and the story only gets better.
I'll just date myself is a fun read with a weightier story than the previous books. In fact, they spend a large portion of the book apart from each other, but it worked. We also were introduced to the circus world of Lani's next series, which I am looking forward to. All in all, I can say if you're a fan of Lani Lynn Vale you should read the Gator Bait MC series because it is all pure Lani Lynn Vale goodness.
Kobe Sano has a love/hate relationship with Folsom. Folsom is a woman that intrigues him, she is a genius and oversteps boundaries every chance she gets. She has an equally as brainy daughter and Folsom is his stalker, she makes no bones about it. The problem is his time in jail was caused by a genius and it drudges up his past. One minute Folsom is helping him on a case, the next she is gone with her daughter. Little does Kobe know that Folsom is tied to the one unsolved child missing case he has still open.
What a way to wind down a series and do a crossover into a new series. I had to say that I was curious about the Circus series. Folsom, I think she may be my favorite character ever, I thought she was absolutely terrific, quirky and her daughter is fantastic. Kobe is hard to read initially because he is so stoic but he is a perfect pairing for Folsom. Terrific.
FINALLY!! I was dying to know this story. I can honestly say I didn’t see any of it coming lol Lani’s books always make me feel like I’m in the friend group, and I am thankful my friends don’t have the sorts of struggles these people do, it does do a great job of letting me escape real life!!
This book was totally swoon! That’s the best way to describe it. Not only was Folsom obsessed with Kobe but he found himself just as obsessed. She was so fun and loved her dedication to keeping him safe though the years. I also loved JP. She was such a cute kid, and when cute kids are in books….. they are like my catnip. The plot was fast paced and had some oh Shhhh moments. I’m really really sad to see this series come to an end but love that we got to see characters for the next series that will revolve around the circus!!! 4.5 stars #2OCCJD
This is a delightful and empowering romantic comedy that had me laughing out loud and rooting for the protagonist, Folsom, from the very beginning. With its relatable characters, witty humour, and a storyline that celebrates self-love and independence, this book is a perfect escape for anyone in need of a feel-good read. It's a bittersweet feeling to reach the end of the series, but I'm thrilled to catch a glimpse of what Lani Lynn Vale has in store for us next.
From the moment I met Folsom, I couldn't help but connect with her spunky personality and determination to focus on herself. Vale's writing is so engaging and humorous that I found myself laughing along with Folsom's hilarious inner monologues and the comedic situations she found herself in, and her chemistry with the charming Kobe adds an extra layer of sweetness to the story.
As I turned the final page, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness knowing that this series has come to an end. However, I'm eagerly looking forward to what Lani Lynn Vale has in store for us next. With her knack for creating lovable characters, injecting humour into every scene, and crafting stories that celebrate empowerment, I have no doubt that her next series will be just as captivating. I can't wait to dive into her new circus world and see what adventures and romances await us!
Folsom's been uh following Kobe for years. He's been avoiding her but the time has come for him to finally give in. And what happens after? All sorts of fun, sexy and otherwise. They'll have to overcome a lot of obstacles, though, to get get that elusive happiness.
I have loved this series, and am sad it's ending, but whew, what a way to go out! Folsom is this badass chick, smart and mysterious, and I never quite got a good read on her in the earlier installments of Gator Bait. It makes sense that her man is equally unknowable, well, until his own story. The way they finally come together, give into their connection is seamless, filled with lots of laughs, tension, and some unthinkable revelations of what both of these two had been through in their lives. There are lots of cameos by other crews, and the Kobe's own crew, and one very special girl, JP, her mom's complete mini me. Though I'm going to miss the Gator Bait MC, Lani's new series is given an intro, and it's got me impatiently awaiting the first story, Fun House, now.

I'd like to note that I hate custody battle/issue stories. Hate them. Hate them, hate them, hate them. I will say that LLV made this one tolerable because it felt like in no way was Folsom's little girl in danger of being snatched. It was more of a danger of Folsom than anything else. She was so careful. I had to give her credit where credit's due. I really liked her as a character. Some of the "hacking" was way ridiculous. But it's a romance book, so why not, right?
Kobe was interesting. His character could be a little flat at some point, and then, you'd get hit with the depth and be like, "Woah." His backstory is tragic, and it makes the ending of the book (which I was no expecting) even more crazy. And I thought my family was messed up...
The story didn't take the turn that I thought it was going to. I was thinking it would focus on Folsom's issue. It did (for a bit), but then it swung into something so completely unexpected, I had a bit of whiplash by the time it was over. It got a little gritty there for a moment. It's definitely an HEA, but there were a lot of hurdles to get over first. I will say this is probably the least MC-y MC romance of all time, but LLV is kind of known for that at this point. This book is like the La Croix of MC romances. Just like La Croix tastes like a lime being blown over TV static in China, this book is like if Kobe's friends put on a cut in another city and the smell of leather wafted in Kobe's general direction. ;-)
There was some nostalgia stuff in there as well from some of the older series. Like, some of them go way, way back. lol Sam's going to be in a walker pretty soon. It was definitely fun. We also had a pretty heavy introduction into the next series. It should be interesting--that's for sure. It was a nice ending to the series. Not my favorite, and I know I razzed on the book a bit in my review. But it was actually really good.

AT LAST the last book of the series with the mysterious Kobe
I've been waiting SO long for the book with Folsom and Kobe and I loved reading the details of their story (their first meeting, their somewhat strange relationship that evolved over the years ... )
The plot here was more developed with Folsom's horrible past and Kobe's horrible family which I enjoyed BUT I wish it had been more developed (and more importantly I wish we'd have a final showdown with Folsom's old friends !)
In short, a romance that I read with pleasure and which concludes a series of romances perfect for entertainment ! It's not my favorite series by this author because I missed "more detective" plots but it's still a good read !
PS: I'm super curious about the plot at the circus, especially with the little glimpse we had of the different characters and the doctor =)
Yeah no, I had such high expectations for this book because first of all it’s the last in the series and usually people save the best for last and it was Kobe and Folsoms book who even seen mentioned a lot in the previous books but don’t know a lot about. But this book was such a let down, it felt like there was no solid plot like yeah they were running away from people but there was just no uniformity whatsoever that it just felt incomplete. And I was frustrated because I get that LLV wanted to introduce the circus for her next series but I feel like she could have easily done that in that series itself and not this one because this one is supposed to be about the Gator Bait MC and we barely saw any of them. Like this is the last book of that series they need their moment. I also had a problem with Folsoms character because Kobe was this hot mysterious guy but also so sweet underneath his tough exterior, but Folosm was just bland. It felt like LLV took all of the personality she gave Folsom in the previous books and took it out and made this shell.
Oh and also I just didn’t understand what she was trying to do with the plot because the whole time we’re worried about Folsom getting hurt because of the hit on her but then it like magically goes away at the end. And then Kobe’s sister pops up out of nowhere and shoots him. Like what, that just felt so sudden that I didn’t know how to process it. And the mention of Folsoms blood disease was so unnecessary because nothing even happened with it so what was the point. I felt like there was a lot of that, like random details that didn’t need to be there.
The only redeeming quality this book had was how cute JP was and how sweet Kobe was. And the epilogue was cute too.
Overall this series needed a way better ending than this one and I’m sad to see them good, but I am excited for this next series coming up.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to like Folsom after she got a major overhaul. I didn’t just like her I LOVED her! She was so great. She was always up in everyone’s business whether she belonged there or not. She would help regardless of if someone asked for it or needed it. It was something she did for Kobe for a long time. Something he didn’t even realize she did at first.
Kobe was quiet for the most part in previous books. I just wasn’t sure what to make of him. There wasn’t much to his story that the other guys knew but Folsom barged into his life and just invaded it.
There was so much mystery surrounding these two and it made for such a great story. They had a connection from before that Folsom kept to herself. Beyond that they had chemistry off the charts. I swear they were the couple that you knew were either going to get together or kill one another.
The side characters in this one are just as awesome. Folsom’s daughter JP is her clone! She made Kobe fall as hard for her as he did her mother. We also got a look into the Singh Circus which is the next series from LLV.
Not to mention that we got some Souls Chapel Revenants, Freebirds, Dixie Wardens, and Bear Bottom Guardians in this book which is always wonderful. I love when we see characters from previous series and their connection to those here. We also FINALLY found out how and why the Gator Bait guys got out of prison. You are going to love the reason.
I’ll Just Date Myself brings us Folsom and Kobe’s romance, as well as the end to the Gator Bait MC series. And, while Folsom and Kobe ended the series on a fantastic note, I’m so sad to see these characters go!
With Kobe being the quiet member of the Gator Bait and Folsom being the always present source of information in everyone’s ear and everyone’s business, I was dying to get their back stories, and they did not disappoint! I adored how these two originally crossed paths and how Folsom then did her thing looking out for Kobe while also staying under the radar since she is running from her own problems . . . and she has some serious problems!
I adore that Folsom looks after those she cares about, even if she is a bit invasive and stalkerish while doing her thing. She had no choice but to be independent and always looking after her shoulder, and I loved that the one person that made her feel safe was Kobe. And, Kobe was simply awesome once I got to know him! Watching him learn to enjoy Folsom’s interference in his life as well as develop a relationship with her and her daughter was heartwarming and a lot of fun.
While Kobe and Folsom work through their own sets of issues, both apart and together, we also get a glimpse of what Lani Lynn Vale has up next for us, which happens to be a family run circus! (And, oh boy, I really cannot wait to get my hands on this upcoming series!!!)
Overall, The Gator Bait MC has been some of my favorite LLV books to date. This entire series has been so much fun and I loved watching them all rally together one last time. 5 stars!
Per usual, author Lani Lynn Vale has taken us on the twistiest, turniest, most unpredictable journey in her latest, I'LL JUST DATE MYSELF, the final book in her Gator Bait MC series.
These folks have the craziest lives ever, and we never know just where Lani's going to take us, but that's what makes her books so much fun. The Folsom that we get in I'LL JUST DATE MYSELF is a bit different than she's been in previous books, and Lani starts off with a note letting us know this. Hey, the Muse does what the Muse wants, and authors and their readers just have to follow along. We finally get Folsom's backstory, along with that of her daughter, JP, and it is wild. Kobe Sano has had quite the less-than-average life, too, and it's a wonder that he ended up being one of the good guys at the end of it all.
I'm not quite sure what I'd do with myself if I ended up in the situations that Lani's characters do, but they surely do make for some good storytelling, and definitely keep me coming back for more. While this book marks the end of the Gator Bait MC series, I have no doubt that we'll be seeing more of these folks in future books, as Lani does like to revisit prior series and bring folks in for cameos. Up next is the Welcome to the Circus series, which Lani has very nicely paved the way for with I'LL JUST DATE MYSELF, and it's looking like tons of fun, so buckle up and get ready for more shenanigans to come. ❤️
OMG! Loved this one from beginning to end. This one ended up being my favorite couple in this ongoing series.
Folsom and Kobes's sexual banter created fan-worthy moments. This couple were fantastic together and we are so glad that Folsom gave Kobe the push he needed to finally take what he has always wanted. Their chemistry is off the charts so much so there was a beray of fireworks in and out of the bedroom.
There was a ton of mystery and suspense throughout this story. We also loved that Folsom's daughter was a big part of this story and we got to learn who Folsom was and what made Folsom the way she was and her story is a whopper of one.
There were so many moments between Kobe and Folsom that we loved. We loved that Kobe loved his Pixie just the way she was and wouldn't change her one bit. She was unique and one bad***.
This story was perfect for Kobe & Folsom not only that there was one surprise after another. Loved that most of the team was also involved in this story it was great to see a lot of the cast of characters that have already gotten their own story. But, most of all we loved that no matter where Folsom landed there were always people who looked out for and loved her and her daughter and were so protective of them that it made Kobe's heart happy.
What a page-turner loved this story and we could go on and on with all the things we loved there were many. This one goes in the to-be-read pile and we have a feeling that this one story will be re-read many times in the future.
I can't believe this is the last book in the series. I've really loved this series so much. Lani Lynn Vale saved the best for last in my opinion. I couldn't wait to dive into Folsom and Kobe's story. I've been intrigued about them both through out the series. Folsom's daughter JP is a spitfire and a little Folsom mini me in the best ways possible. Man life really dealt both of these characters a real tough hand that's for sure. I can't imagine going through what they both went through, but it leads them to where they are now. If you asked them they wouldn't have had any other way. A tad unconventional, but Kobe, Folsom, and JP find something so beautiful together. I so loved getting a little taste of some of the characters for Lani's new series to come. All I can say I'm here for it!! Now back to this awesome read. I was up into the wee hours reading because I couldn't put it down. I say all the time, but it's the truth Lani just has a way with her writing. It's pure magic and hooks me every time! She creates characters that are different with flaws, but ones you instantly root for. They may live in some gray areas of the world instead of black and white. They may make some questionable decisions, but they have unwavering loyalty to those they love and care about the most. To me that's the most important factor. I would highly recommend this book. You won't want to put it down!
I knew Folsom was going to be my favorite! She has intrigued me from the beginning. Especially with her f@*k all attitude lol. She’s a total bada$$ and does whatever she wants, whenever she wants and it doesn’t matter who’s privacy she’s invading. Especially Kobe’s lol.
This story was amazing. LLV gives us the deep dive into Folsom’s life and why she is the way she is. My heart hurt for her and JP, but at the same time she’s the fierce mama bear protecting her cub. JP is a mini Folsom and I adored her. I hated that she had to know the things she did, but she handles it like the bright and genius child she is lol.
I loved the tie-in to series of the past, but also the new series coming next month and can’t wait to dive into it. I think this book has some of LLV’s best writing to date. Every single character was so well thought out and fit perfectly into the story, but the telling of this story was “chef’s kiss”! I love that her characters don’t always walk away unscathed, but I love that they always get their HEA! As always, I highly recommend this book. Even though it can be read as a standalone, it’ll be so much more enjoyable if you read the others beforehand.
This is the last book in this amazing series and I’m a little sad that it’s come to an end, but at least LLV has ended it with a bang! As I started reading this book, we learn there’s been some changes to Folsom from the previous books and in my opinion it made this last book so phenomenal and intriguing!
In the previous books, we’ve met Kobe but we never really had his full history and when you pair him with Folsom these two are so meant to be. They are opposites, but at the same time, they compliment each other. They each have skills that most people envy but at the same time, these same skills help them survive in this world.
This book is filled with moments that are swoon worthy, suspense that had me gasping, a love that’s deep but unacknowledged until it really matters. And oh my stars, when Folsom and Kobe team up to bring an end to Folsom’s fiercest enemy, they’re unstoppable! I love how all the men and their wives in the Gator Bait MC, as well as a few others from previous books, no one is safe. Especially if they’re trying to harm those they love.
Even though this is the end of a series, I have a sneaking suspicion we just may see some of these characters again and I’m on board that!
Every woman is a doll. Whether it’s Barbie, Annabelle, or Voodoo is a roll of the dice.
Ever since Folsom burst on to the scene she’s been this mysterious hacker who spy’s on everyone. I’ve been looking forward to reading about what makes her tick and it’s not what you expectation all. She a genius and so is her daughter JP.
“I feel like there are a lot of things that I could do when it comes to you that wouldn’t matter,” I admitted. “You are like a fungus that just won’t go away.”
Kobe got the raw end of the deal in the family department. It has hardened him against smart women.
“He’s a ghost pepper wing dipped in wasabi,” I found myself saying. “Spicy as he::, and something that nobody ever tried because they’re too afraid of the aftereffects.”
This was my favorite story in this series. Folsom is crazy and protective of anyone she cares about. It takes a while but when Kobe finally comes to his senses he has to work for it. This author is not afraid to go way out on a limb with her characters but that’s what makes her books so wonderful.
Would asking him to get comfortable by taking off his shirt be too suggestive?
Fully obsessed with this story and this series! After getting to know Folsom over the previous books, I was so intrigued by her character and what would happen with her, and LLV did NOT disappoint! Not only did we get the love story of Folsom and Kobe, but we also found out who was behind putting this group of guys together and getting them out of prison, and I loved that Folsom was involved in it. My heart broke for Kobe when we found out what landed him in prison, and I was so happy that Folsom helped him to stand his ground in cutting them out. This story took some epic twists and turns that I didn’t expect, mainly about Folsom’s story and what she was running from, but then it turned into a new twist involving Kobe when he is attacked, and they people are on the run. There is so much in this story, and I was so excited that LLV gave us insight into the next series through this book and introduced us to some characters, and I am so excited for the next series even though I will miss this one and truly enjoyed these stories and characters. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
RECEIVED THIS FREE ARC FOR AN HONEST REVIEW! Kobe & Folsom: TRIGGERS: surrogacy, kidnapping, bullying, assault. OMG… BEST BOOK OF THE SERIES!! Folsom has been kind of a mystery for the entire Gator Bait MC series but now her story is told and let me tell you… the whole book is a plot twist you wouldn't believe. First of all, if you don't know, Folsom is the ultimate hacker that has been helping the MC, and she's best friends with Morrigan. Kobe was yet another former felon who is connected to previous LLV series… "Freebirds", "Dixie Wardens MC", and "Souls Chapel MC". So everything starts to become clear for the LLV fans. 💜💜💜 In this book, Folsom is in trouble and we learn why but it'll take the help of Kobe to get her out of it. LLV also gives us a small introduction to her next series "Welcome to the Circus" and let me tell you that the drama does not stop. The question is… will Kobe be able to save Folsom? Will they get their HEA? We'll see… so freaking good…
Complex, addictive goodness! With the final book in her always entertaining Gator Bait MC series, Lani Lynn Vale delivers a heartfelt story for Folsom that is oh so fitting and lays the groundwork for her upcoming Welcome to the Circus series! I was hooked from the start and loved devouring every single heartfelt minute. Such an awesome series!
Folsom has been a mystery that we knew would unravel in a spectacular way since the start of this series. I knew I liked her, but after finding out her story, I loved her even harder. She's all that and a bag of chips!
I loved Kobe! He's protective, sincere and has been handed a crap load of drama that he didn't deserve. I really enjoyed seeing Folsom become his person.
I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that loves a tough group of guys who are always raring to protect those they love and even innocent bystanders. They love hard and melt under the smile of "the one".
