Hi, and welcome to my Goodreads page!

I love to write books about living a fabulous life without spending a lot of money.

I adore mindset work and how we get to be happier and more successful just from looking at things from a different angle. We get to change our circumstances if we want to, and change our thoughts as well.

My goal when I write my books is to provide inspiration, ideas, and reminders for my readers so that they can wear their rose-tinted sunglasses as they live their life. Just like I do!

I have found that everything works out better when you are positive as much as possible. When you expect things to work out for the best. When you have gratitude for all you have. And when you are always looking at how to make your life better, and richer (in all ways). In doing all these things you are elevating the happiness levels of those around you as well as yourself.

Of course life isn't perfect and we all go through sad or difficult times, however I believe when we are starting from a base level of positivity, it makes those times easier to bear.

I love the saying attributed to Queen Elizabeth II's private secretary, who told her that her job was to spread a carpet of happiness wherever she went. I have taken this on as my own life's motto and with my writing too.

I hope you enjoy reading my books and get loads of golden nuggets from them. Happy reading and please let me know your thoughts or leave a review!

Really conflicted about how to review this one... I liked it but I was also disappointed in the book, but the disappointment came from having read so many of Fiona's books that this one had almost no new to me content, but the content itself is good, if a little erratically organised.

Now, I believe that just like with minimalism/decluttering books, there is only so much to say about self-care and healthy body image, it's *how* this information is presented that makes the difference. And that's the issue for me here - the information is presented in exactly the same way as the older books to the point that if the whole thing had been copy/pasted from a bunch of her other books, I wouldn't have been surprised (but no, I don't truly believe it was). It felt like I'd read it all before, down to the almost identical wording.

The above would not be an issue for someone unfamiliar with Fiona's work, hence my hesitation on the 3-star rating. However, I'd still not recommend a new reader start here because I felt like there were several topics mashed together in a somewhat chaotic way (diets/healthy eating, femininity, outlook/attitude) and it felt... messy. Overall, I'd say this book comes across as undercooked and lacking in a holistic vision for what it is trying to be.

I'd recommend picking one of Fiona's other books instead, such as The Glam Life: Uplevel everything in a fun way using glamour as your filter to the world, The Peaceful Life: Slowing down, choosing happiness, nurturing your feminine self, and finding sanctuary in your home or one of the 30 Chic Days books.

a positive and uplifting book

It probably is a bit repetitive, but as someone who fights self negativity every waking moment having repeated in different ways to love myself as I am and to be kind to myself is something I need to hear often.
I really enjoyed the message of the book .

Mindset is key 🔑

I've been told mindset is key to living a healthy lifestyle. I have enjoyed the practical reframing.
This book launched in perfect timing for me. I am extremely grateful. Sending love and light.

I enjoyed this book, it wasn’t your average get a message book. It talked about having a healthy relationship with food and your body. Dressing and eating like your future self.

Same points repeated over and over and over in all her books

This author made a good start with her initial books and I frankly think she is out of ideas or there is nothing much left to say for her. She keeps grinding and repeating the same points and this book was a complete waste of money
