Desperately Seeking Kitty

Looking to rent a pussy.

Say what?

I’d never seen an ad phrased quite like that before. Not only did it raise my eyebrows, but the late night attention it drew dangerously exceeded our kitten rescue’s bandwidth.

So I did my admin duty and sent the ad writer a warning message.

I didn’t have to send her personal messages.

Or have flirty chats on the phone.

I especially didn’t need to go to her place for late night…kitten calls.

I soon realized she might be exactly who I needed to get my matchmaking family off my back, if she would just attend an important event with me.

She told me over and over she wasn’t girlfriend material—fake or otherwise.

I didn’t listen.

And now I’m ready to put it all on the line to make sure my Kitty understands that our love is very real.

Let the fur fly.

Desperately Seeking Kitty is a standalone rom-com written by the duo known as Taryn Quinn. It is told in 1st person from both POV with a HEA.

Tropes:
✔️ insta-love / falling in love via classified ad
✔️ main characters with pets
✔️ secret identity
✔️ age gap
✔️ veterinarian hero who used to pose for romance covers
✔️ curvy editor heroine with agoraphobia
✔️ takes place during Thanksgiving

With the ability to work from home and only interact electronically with her partner and clients, Katherine “Kitty” Armitage, enclosed herself in her apartment after the loss of one of her cats. Unprepared to adopt another fur baby, Kitty decides to rent a cat for her lonely Princess Goldenrod.

Since her initial wanted ad garnered no results, Kitty uses her editing skills to spice it up. The response is more that the charity’s website can handle and the admin in charge is alerted.

When Dr. Clint Hauser starts to chat with her regarding the post, he’s instantly intrigued by the woman’s honesty and wit and readily agrees to take his cat over for a play date.

“Looking to rent a pussy”? ROFL! This book was hilarious and then it was sexy, until it was sweet and touching and I loved every minute of it. I desperately needed an escape and this was the perfect kick start to my weekend.

DNF around 70%. It was okay up until now, had some cute and fun moments, especially early on, but now it's been dragging on and going nowhere. After more than a month spent on this book, I truly do not care to keep forcing myself through. I don't care enough about the couple, the jealous friend-who-wanted-to-be-more suddenly popped up and is annoying. And watching the heroine try to get their two cats to be friendly is giving me anxiety, as the cats keep running away and fighting, etc.

Universal

When overworked veterinarian, Clint, responds to an ad placed on his kitten rescue's page, he never imagines that the woman behind that ad would end up being the one to change his life. He never imagines how fast and hard he'd fall for his Kitty, and that he'd need to convince her he was all in, and had been the first time he laid eyes on her.

Since her beloved cat passed, Katherine has barricaded herself and her heart in her apartment, rarely venturing out. The depression and grief she suffered have made it difficult for her to go outside. So looking for companionship for her remaining cat means she has to resort to finding a new cat for playdates online. Fortunately for her, the man who responds to her ad is a gorgeous, sweet, (and very delicious) vet who gets in one meeting that she's got things she's working on. How will she respond to him when he tells her he wants a fake (not) date to get his family off his back?

These small towns that Taryn and Cari dream up are so awesome! Miles better than the small town I grew up in, and with every story set in them, I want to go there and befriend each of the residents. Clint and Katherine (Kitty) are such an adorable couple who each have individual depth, emotionally and mentally. I love the way their issues are detailed, with a loving but not heavy, hand, and how it was inevitable that they'd end up together, from their very first words to each other. There's fiery chemistry, feisty felines, a yummy vet, a sassy editor, and an equally adorable secondary cast.

DESPERATELY SEEKING KITTY is the fourth instalment in Taryn Quinn’s contemporary, adult KENSINGTON SQUARE erotic, romance series set in the author’s CRESCENT COVE world. This is veterinarian Dr. Clint Hauser, and twenty-five year old, romance story editor Katherine ‘Kitty Armor’ Armitage’s story line. DESPERATELY SEEKING KITTY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Clint and Kitty) DESPERATELY SEEKING KITTY follows in the wake of a series of online posts on the ‘Kitten Around’ kitten rescue site, looking to rent a ‘pussy’ by the hour. As the forum moderator Dr. Clint Hauser believes he has found a suspicious user, a user with whom he is about to fall in love. Enter Katherine ‘Kitty Armor’ Armitage. Katherine Armitage is a recluse; a book editor with challenging agoraphobia but a woman who has recently lost a beloved pet. Needing a plus one for her stay at home companion Princess Goldenrod, Katherine aka Kitty uses the local kitten forum to find a friend for her lonely cat but all does not go well when our heroine is suspected of procuring sexual favors, favors to be found on the local site. Kitty, believing she has been catfished, invites Dr. Clint Hauser over to meet her cat but quickly discovers her heart will be lost to our story line hero. What ensues is a quick building romance and relationship between Clint and Kitty, and the potential fall-out as extended family members and friends get worried for their eccentric loved ones.

Katherine ‘Kitty’ Armitage is lonely but her loneliness is complicated by agoraphobia, and a job that keeps her inside, most of the time. Her unconventional and often erratic behavior is questionable at best but meeting Dr. Clint Hauser give hopes to an otherwise lonely existence. Clint Hauser is a former romance cover model/turned veterinarian who is over worked, and stressed due to the inordinate amount of heart breaking work and volunteer hours but Clint needs a plus one for the upcoming holidays, and believes Kitty is the perfect foil to keep his family at bay. Believing ‘Kitty’ is soliciting for $ex on the kitten forum, Clint demands proof of our heroine’s ‘lies’. Finding himself pulled into the craziness that is Kitty Armor, Clint discovers his mind and his body relax in the company of our story line heroine.

The relationship between Clint and Kitty is one of immediate but curious attraction. Kitty has been alone for so long she is willing to invite a stranger into her life, and Clint needs a well deserved vacation, even if only for a few hours at a time. The $ex scenes are passionate and seductive without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic and idiosyncratic secondary and supporting characters including Kitty’s father, and her agent Magnus; Clint’s sisters Emmaline , Felicia and Melodie, and his father Clintondale Hauser Jr.

DESPERATELY SEEKING KITTY is a wild romantic comedy focusing on real-life situations that aren’t supposed to be funny but the over the top, actions and idiosyncratic behaviors of our story line heroine bring out the crazy in everyone including family and friends. At times wild, comedic and frenetic but often overwhelming, the story line premise is entertaining and captivating; the romance is provocative and steamy; the characters are lively and spirited.

It takes a special author to write a book about two people who have some mental health issues and not only show how it affects their everyday life and relationships but to also add in some levity to their situation as they meet and get to know one another. A provocatively worded classified on a pet rescue site leads to a bit of a misunderstanding, some crazy flirting, a meeting that gets interrupted, and then a proposition that goes haywire in Desperately Seeking Kitty, the latest book in Taryn Quinn’s Kensington Square series.

Katherine (Kitty) has basically cut herself off from the outside world as she cared for her sick cat and her depression and agoraphobia only got worse following his death. Other than her work partner Magnus who she confers with via computer or phone and her mostly absent father, she has no one left in her life. Even worse Princess Goldenrod her remaining cat is lonely but Kitty isn’t ready for a new cat in her life but she decides renting one for play dates might work. Hence the classified ad which gets flagged by an admin of the site, she engages in a wild exchange with him which eventually leads to Clint agreeing to bring his cat, Lucky, over for a play date.

I really loved this story, Kitty had quite a few issues going on and some were a result of her childhood and others manifested later but she worked hard as a book editor and she wasn’t in denial about her life. She was funny, outspoken, and caring. Clint was a vet who had taken some time off for his own mental health but back working as a vet. I loved that he thought Kitty was a breath of fresh air and he understood she had some issues. He didn’t push her to share, but he made it known it didn’t matter to him. Their attraction was electric but from the start I could feel more growing between them.

There were quite a few surprises that cropped up in this book, nothing bad they added layers to this story and made it even more interesting and entertaining.

I loved everything about this book; the characters (both human and feline), the way they met, their situation, but most of all their communication skills something so lacking in so many romance books these days. Engaging from the start Desperately Seeking Kitty was a delight to read!

If you like cats, you will probably love this book. It's a fun, fluffy read with a lot of banter between the MMC (Clint) and the FMC (Kitty/Katherine). Zero angst. It skirts the edges of conflict whenever there's potential for something to go sideways -- like with Clint feeling pressured by his father's expectations and not wanting to follow in his father's footsteps, yet reluctant to disappoint his father -- you think that things are gonna get ugly, but there'll be a confrontation and then the discomfort evaporates super quick and gets smoothed over immediately. So it's like the author builds anticipation and tension, but then it all goes flat and goes nowhere, like a champagne bottle that doesn't actually pop.

I like how Clint enjoys Kitty's quirkiness, but the book takes place over a very short period of time (a week or two?) and so it's not enough time to find out whether her quirkiness will end up becoming annoying instead after some time.

Kitty has agoraphobia but also seems to overcome it almost too easily? I don't really know, since I don't have experience with agoraphobia and haven't met anyone who has experienced it -- but the story seems to imply that because she wanted to send Clint lunch at his workplace, she was able to overcome her agoraphobia and force herself to go out and drop the lunch off for him. Can it really work that way? I don't know.

I liked that they slowly revealed more of themselves to each other and didn't play games, and even though Kitty was a bit worried when she found out about Clint's alter ego, she didn't allow herself to spiral down into negative thoughts or anxiety. So we don't have a third act breakup here, thank goodness. I liked how he seemed to need her almost more than she needed him... in fact, she didn't 'need' him exactly; despite her agoraphobia and social anxiety and everything, Kitty didn't need saving, Clint wasn't there to help make her life better or bring her out of her shell or anything like that.

This was my first time reading this author, would definitely read other titles by her.

Not only do I get to return to one of my favorite fictional places ever, as written by two of my go-to romance authors, but I get a story that made me oh, so, happy, in all the best ways.

The Taryn Quinn ladies have done it again, and have done it so beautifully and thoughtfully. Don't let the title fool you here. While still chock full of characters (both human and feline) that had me smiling non-stop, and plenty of 'hand me a fan and a cool drink' heat (because it's Taryn Elliot and Cari Quinn, so of course there is), DESPERATELY SEEKING KITTY tackles some subject matter that is not that of your typical romance, that being mental health and how it can look different for every single person.

I love the way that Taryn and Cari have written Kitty and Clint. Just because someone appears to be snarky and sassy, or strong, capable, and dedicated, doesn't mean that they are. Loss, fear, feelings of not measuring up, these can all of hiding just below the surface. Finding a person or people that provide a safe place to land can truly make a world of difference in how a person gets through life, and seeing both of these characters find that safe place and fully become themselves made this book even more special.

I'm never going to miss a visit to Crescent Cove or Kensington Square, and the two ladies that write the stories that happen there are the reason why. Come for the romance and the steam, but know that you're getting so much more. ❤️

This wasn't like all the other books by the wonderful authors. I have loved everything that they've written and this one is no exception.

Kitty (short for Katherine) writes an ad on this site Kitten Around, hoping to find a cat to be a playmate for her cat, Princess Goldenrod. Princess Goldenrod lost her best friend and hasn't been the same. Kitty thought it might be nice to get another but not one full time. She just wanted to "rent" a cat. But, the ad didn't get any responses. So Kitty decided to change it up and created a racy ad that had so many double entendres in it. Turns out, this got people responding. Kitten Around is actually a charity site for animals and the fact that so many people were posting late one night, set off alarms that the administrator of the site had to check out what was going on. He wants to see what's going on before he takes it down. Turns out, the banter was fun between the 2 of them and they arrange a "playdate" for the two cats. Clint, the administrator is actually a vet. It's a little weird but their first "playdate" is after midnight one night.

Kitty and Clint have such fun banter and chemistry even while dealing with their own issues. Kitty has agoraphobia and is handling the loss of her beloved pet (hence the playdate ad). She also hasn't been lucky in love. Clint, on the other hand, is older and trying to deal with his family and how to tell his dad that he doesn't want to follow in the family political footsteps.
Only these authors can write such a wonderful and funny story between Kitty and Clint that keeps you wanting more. A wonderful read!

Taryn Quinn delivered a heartwarming small-town romance that is absolutely perfect. With quirky characters, adorable furballs, and emotional undertones, Desperately Seeking Kitty is exactly what you have come to expect from this fabulous writing duo. It's funny, sexy, and just the right amount of angst and you'll devour it quickly.

Kitty (aka Katherine) is definitely a unique and eccentric character who lives a solitary life. My heart broke for all this young woman dealt with. Clint is a workaholic veterinarian who has a heart of gold but burns the candle at both ends completely draining his tank day in and day out. These two have a super fun meet-cute and the story takes off from there. While on paper these two would seem to be complete opposites, in reality, they are absolutely perfect for each other. They complement one another in all of the right ways, bringing out the best in each. I loved watching them fall in love! Meddling family members and friends round out a unique set of characters that will make you laugh repeatedly throughout.

Kitty and Clint's story moves at a fast clip and before you know it, you'll be at the end wishing there was more. Quinn's signature sarcastic humor and witty dialogue is on full display throughout. The story will make you laugh out loud one minute and break your heart the next. It's a perfect balance and a fabulous story overall. Don't miss it. 5 stars

Desperately Seeking Kitty: a Kensington Square standalone small-town romantic comedy by Taryn Quinn is another “I need to read right now” book! It all begins when Katherine (Kitty) writes an innocent ad on a local pet rescue charity Kitten Around, hoping to “rent a cat” to be a playmate for her cat, Princess Goldenrod. Kitty, a romance editor’s first ad written seeking a ‘rent a cat’ for a play date, got no hits, so she decided to spice up the ad. The spiced-up ad set off a site alarm with over 500 hits on the server that caught Clint, a veterinary doctor’s attention who was the pet rescue site moderator. Clint is a vet, and he, a cat owner, decides to email Kitty about the ad. Kitty and Clint end up talking on the phone and scheduling a time for their cats to have a playdate. Add instant attraction and spicy encounters with feisty cats for a memorable tale. Kitty lives with agoraphobia that limits her being able to intact with others without anxiety and possible panic attack. Agoraphobia is treated with sensitivity and made relevant through the character Kitty. This story is relatable as all people may have issues with family or possibly experienced a trauma that could trigger a mental health issue such as anxiety, depression, and the more dilatating agoraphobia. I loved this story, and I consider Desperately Seeking Kitty one of the best books ever written by Taryn Quinn.

This is a standalone in the Kensington Square series. This whole story starts...with a classified ad! "Kitty" puts up an ad on pet rescue site that leads to responses that are definitely not what the ad was intended for! Kitty has lost her cat and it pushed her depression to get worse and she also suffers from agoraphobia. She doesn't really have a lot of people in her life, and definitely not ones that she sees in person. She thinks her remaining cat is lonely, and decides to place an ad to get play dates for her. Which in turn leads her to meeting a vet, Clint, who after speaking to her, decides to bring his cat over for play dates. And this, in turn, leads to much humor and sexy times!

I really enjoyed this story. Kitty may have issues but she is funny and just cracked me up from the get go. Her and Clint's back and forth was not only funny but super hot and sweet. Clint has had his own issues which made it easier for him to understand the issues that Kitty deals with on a daily basis. And it definitely made him less judgy and much more likable in my opinion! They definitely have some sexy times but beyond that, they actually have a connection that I really enjoyed! Definitely well worth a read!

This one grabbed me right from the beginning and held me captive all the way through. I laughed and even gasped and could have almost shed a tear for them as these two came together. Kitty and Clint are two soles who were destined to find each other. They are both weird in their own way and both hurting and in need of each other's love to heal. Kitty started out looking for a companion for her Princess who lost her mate but really Katherine lost her kitty to cancer and has been struggling and when her classified didn't get any traction she upped the ante, so to speak, and Clint took notice, being he was the admin on staff that night. When he contacted her their texts started out questionable but quickly they came to an understanding and a play date was set up. Who was the play date for exactly, was it for Lucky and Princess or for Kitty and Clint. Once everyone came face to face all bets were off. There really is such a thing the perfect match and these two found it in each other. Now they just have to find their way through all their anxieties and their families.

We're back in the fictional town of Kensington Square where we meet romance editor Katherine "Kitty" Armitage and local vet Clint Hauser. They meet one night after Kitty places an ad looking for a playmate for her cat Princess on a local site. After receiving no responses she decides to spice up the ad in order to receive some attention and boy does she get attention! Clint is the admin of the site and after it blowing up he decides to confront Kitty and one thing leads to another and then he's over at her place and falling head over heals for this sweet young woman. Kitty has a lot of mental health issues but so does Clint. These two find something in each other that is a healing balm for their bruised souls. Adding to their crazy chemistry are their adoptive cats, Clint's overinvolved family, Kitty's business partner that has had a long standing crush on her and craziness ensues! I really enjoyed their story and it stands completely alone in the Kensington Square series. It was told from dual POV and is full of sweetness, laughter and loads of heat!

Kensington Square is the newest location to heat up Upstate New York!

I love getting to meet new characters that are separate from Crescent Cove, but still related. Kitty and Clint are just what the Vet ordered!

Kitty is a bit of a recluse, dealing with issues of agoraphobia, depression at the loss of a beloved pet, and abandonment issues. It’s no wonder she’s all but given up on men (and people in general). Clint is struggling to get some work/life balance in his chosen profession while trying to figure out a way to break it to his father he will not be following in his political footsteps.

These characters are so fun together. You can just see the two of them clicking together like two puzzle pieces, making each other whole. And with Clint’s large and quirky family, I can see the potential for many more fun and sexy stories in Kensington Square!

What an amazing world that reels you in!!!

Kitty and Clint, I didn’t know what to expect, but it blew me away.

I could feel Kitty and her feelings. I related to her loss and her anxiousness with the outside world. She is so witty and lovely and she brings the zingers.

Clint is so sexy and a total heartthrob, but he has this innate ability calm and help Kitty be herself just totally melted my heart to no end.

The ways these two lives are intertwined makes my heart happy. Taryn Quinn brings all the fun, the heat and a world that I sincerely want to be a part of. And they brought the kitties, I love the puppies, but the kitties add a layer to the story that made me giddy. Who would have that kitties could rule it all.

I want more from the Kensington Square Crew.

I love how the characters in this book have been written! Katherine aka Kitty, has had life knock her around a bit. So much so that leaving her apartment is not even thinkable. She places a well worded (but can be misunderstood) add for a companion for her cat. She gets a lot of unwanted attention but one response that could be the one who understands her best. Clint just happens to be the admin in charge of the web site where Kitty places her add that night. The banter between them made me laugh and groan into my hands at the same time. Words are just words until you place meaning behind them.
I loved how Taryn Quinn has approached this subject. Leaving one’s home after the world has done you wrong can be stressful and traumatic. Ms Quinn has approached it with great care and understanding of the thought process. Kitty isn’t broken. She needs TLC from the right person.

This book really hit home for me as my grandmother also suffered from agoraphobia. Hers was triggered from coming home to someone in the middle of robbing her home. She was so traumatized that she would never leave her house and my father and I would do all her food shopping and errands for her.
Now on a happy note, I absolutely loved this book! I laughed out loud so many times to Kitty's funny answers and all the cat's crazy antics as I have been a cat owner my entire life could relate to this book!
Our bathroom would look like a ticker tape parade had just happened on many occasions!
Kitty and Clinton are just perfect together and I love that everyone deserves their person no matter what size you are or crazy family you come from. A very fun read you will enjoy very much!!!

LOVED IT SO MUCH!!!

This book spoke to me on many levels. First, I love romances for the HEA. And Kitty and Clint were so great, they so deserved their happiness. Second, I discovered a few years ago, much to my shock, that I am a cat person. My cat is the light of my life. She gives my husband a run for his money. Luckily, he loves her too. Third, I also struggle with anxiety and agoraphobia. I get this book. I SOOO get this book!!! But you will too. You don't need to be a crazy agorophobic cat person to enjoy this book. It's just a wonderful way to spend some time, and it will leave you with a happy glow that is not induced by smexy times. Or maybe it will be. You do you, I won't judge.

I Need a Kitty of My Very Own

I loved the story. The awkward-cute personality Katherine had was perfect. Any guy would be the luckiest man on the planet to have a wife like her. I was NOT a fan of Magnus, at all. He acts like a jerk to Katherine and Clint, then Clint opens his he to him as a nice gesture….and Magnus who supposedly has a thing for Katherine decides to sleep with Clint’s sister in Clint’s own house? Have some decency man. Clint was great too. I really loved that there wasn’t any major drama, angst, or forced break-ups - that are so common in romance novels these days. Thank you for writing just a great feel good romance novel where two animal loving people also happened to find their human soul-mate as well. Great story!

Desperately Seeking Kitty by Taryn Quinn is a stand alone part of their Kensington Square series. Veterinarian Clint Hauser and editor Katherine Armitage meet when Katherine is looking for some feline companionship for her bereaved cat, and a teasingly written ad brings numerous responses out of the woodwork…

Taryn Quinn’s story about two cat lovers with an appreciation for romance novels is a winner. Clint and Kitty treat each other and their families and friends kindly and with affection, even when they may disagree about things important to them. Mental health concerns are portrayed honestly and compassionately.

The story is playful and entertaining, in keeping with this series and those of the Crescent Cove community. A terrific read.

This is a fun, entertaining read with characters I loved from the start. Kitty is high anxiety, deals with agoraphobia, and a bit of a chatter box when that anxiety kicks in. She and Clint have a great connection, lots of fire, but there's a deeper pull there. The story handles Kitty's anxiety well. There are laughs that kept the pages turning! The story pulled me into their world, loving everyone in their lives that keep things hopping for them. These are two lovable characters with perfect cat friends. Another great read in this series!

I must admit this wasn't one of my favs. I never really felt that I got into this book.
It did a wonderful job of showing how family issues, a trauma, or even a nickname by someone we love can have a lasting effect on us.
Kitty/Katherine suffers from agoraphobia. She had barely left her apartment and interaction with others can cause a major panic attack.
Clint is a vet who also has his qwerks.
These two were meant for each other, as they get each other. It brings home the thought that there is someone for everyone.
The book has great dialogue between the main characters and in Kitty's head. There is hot sexy time and of course the kitties that started it all.

From the very first page of Desperately Seeking Kitty, I was hooked. Taryn Quinn has outdone themselves with this one. I couldn’t help but love Katherine, aka Kitty, and Clint.

I don't know if I have ever connected as much with a character as I did with Kitty for so many reasons. And Clint? *sigh* There couldn’t be anyone better suited for her.

My emotions ran the gambit while reading. From there hilarious cute meet to Kitty's quirky, and somewhat ways to the emotions of dealing with mental illness, it was spot on perfection.

I want to be Kitty when I grow up!!!

This book…just Wow! I could be Kitty except for having my very own Clint again. I’m a widow that is currently experiencing agoraphobia and I’m with Ms. Kitty, it royally sucks!

I loved this book! Everyone just needs to read it. Clint is perfect for Kitty, just perfect!

I’m not very good at putting my thoughts to paper due to side symptoms or agoraphobia, depression and anxiety. But, for an extremely enjoyable read, this book is it. I haven’t once been disappointed by TQ, you won’t either☺️

This story, like so many others form Taryn Quinn, pulled me in from the start. She's a work-at-home editor looking for a friend for her kitty. When she posts a spicy advert on her local pet rescue's classifieds, he, a veterinarian with serious work/life balance struggles, intrigued, answers the post.

What follows is a silly, quirky, steamy, wonderful HEA story that expertly weaves in grieving, mental health issues, and a loud, boisterous family. Is your interest piqued? I can't recommend this story enough. It was such a fun ride.

I'm a cat lover. I have anxiety, panic disorder, and panic disorder associated with agoraphobia among other things (depression, OCD, etc) So this book was literally everything to me and ABOUT me!
Reading a book like this that doesn't make you feel so alone and makes you want to literally jump up and down with joy at every relatable passage or quote is... Healing. Comforting. Feeling seen.
Heard. Validated.
Thank you. From the bottom of my heart. ❤️‍🩹

Another whole level of fanfreakingtastic! OMG Clint and Kitty are an incredible goal.

Heart in my throat for most of this read. Hot, sexy vet meets hot sexy hermit who edits smut. Love her already. My kinda woman. And to meet a man like Clint...yowza.

Love the kittens, they are so adorable. I can't wait to hear how Clarise does.

Cari & Taryn have upped their game with Desperately Seeking Kitty. Lots of emotion and insta love.

Book editor Kitty Armor and Vet Clint Hauser find they have a mutual attraction for one another when they get their feline companions, Princess Goldenrod and Lucky, together for a play date. A lovely story that deals compassionately with metal health, anxiety, and familial expectations. The descriptions of the cat's behaviours steal every scene they're in. Characters new and known give a taste for future stories.

Another excellent quick & steamy read by Taryn Quinn! Kitty & Clint are wonderful together & their pets are highly entertaining. Those cats had me laughing out loud! The chemistry between Clint & Kitty is off the charts & grief for the loss of a dear pet is dealt with compassionately. Having overcome numerous obstacles and challenges Kitty & Clint get their happy ever after! Definitely recommend this book!

3.5-4 stars for me. This book took me a while to get into the story, but the more I read the more I begin to feel the connection and attraction between Katherine and Clint. Each of them had issues that defined them and their actions. They both just needed to find that special someone who could understand them and would accept and love them.
This story has spicy sexy times, humor, and some adorable kitties with fun personalities.
