Blow Duet #2

Blow: Part Two

Rate this book
I never thought that he would find me.

The man that created all my nightmares, but he did.

I’m now faced with the fact that not only does he want to kill me

but that someone close to me is a traitor.

I’ve never been good at trusting people but

now I have to let that go and let Ian, Jax, Archer, and Otto help me through this.

My life has never been easy, and I don’t expect it ever to be but the tragedy that strikes our little family is enough to have me questioning everything.

Enemies are coming at us from all angles and I’m not sure what to do.

Will I ever find peace and happiness in this world or am I doomed to walk the path of hate and lies that are set before me forever?

I never wanted to be saved before but now I really hope that someone will just reach out and take my hand.

book 2

Archer makes it all so much better ☺️
And after book 1 I think it was needed.
Turns out book 2 was much funnier than book 1 even with the triggers, Archer came to the rescue and helped.

This isn’t a duet to shout from the roof tops about how amazing and incredible it is as it’s not the kind of story that gets you excited and happy in that way. It’s dark, a lot of triggers through out and about characters who have suffered.
But even so the actual story is well written, draws you in a deeper level and balances it out with the good and bad.

You definitely need to be open minded going into this duet and expect the unexpected.
A lot of mm, mmm, mmmm, mf and mmmmf lol you bet the point 😜
Some sick and very disturbing cruel individuals
But a story about finding a home, somewhere to belong, a safe place and trust.

Id rate this book a 4 star. But Overall, I'd rate the duet a 4.5 stars. One of the reasons is a slight inconsistency in a side plot, but it's not a major discrepancy. Another is I kinda felt as though the second book just didn't live up to my expectations cuz I loved the first book so so much but that's a me thing not a story thing lol.

****SPOILER ALERT BELOW****

Ok so the plot discrepancy is that Gina originally in book one didn't start working for the grandma until a year when she found maddy od'd so about a year after she contacted Gina originally but in the second book it was the full 5yrs. Also in the first book one of Gina's guys said he'd be with her if he ever had the chance but then in this book she's calling him an a§ . Idk it was just kinda a brain tease on that one.

Blow: Part Two by November Sweets is the second, finale of this two book series. This picks up right where book one left off. Maddy just learned the secret from Gina and is upset. And there is action after action after that. Maddy just can't catch a break. I loved watching Maddy grow and trust her guys. I loved watching her guys take care of everything and really respect each other. I would have liked to see more of Otto, but I understand why. No spoilers! Hopefully we'll get a Gina and her guys book?! I would love to see more in this world. Loved it. Some TW to watch out for. No bullying within the main group. No cheating. HEA.

Everything I wanted and more!

I was so excited when this book hit my kindle! I couldn’t wait to read the conclusion to Maddy’s story. And it was a doozy! It is packed with suspense and action, secrets revealed, and retribution. I won’t say too much so that I don’t give anything away but the personal growth with all of these characters was amazing to read. I loved seeing them all come together and fight for each other. The guys are just as wonderful in this book as the first one and were everything that Maddy needed. Check the trigger warnings and if you don’t like sword crossing then this book isn’t for you. I am really hoping a certain someone will be getting her own book with her group of guys!

What a whirlwind! Absolutely loved this conclusion to Maddy’s story! There’s just so much going on!! Action after breath-taking action. There’s suspense and intrigue and lies become truths, secrets come to the forefront. I could barely put it down! I really hope there’s a story for Gina. Because her story would be super interesting.

This is an unputdownable book.

Maddy finally learns the truth about her family, her Grandmother, and Gina.

Jax, Archer, Otto, and Maddy learn Ian’s full story.

Maddy’s father is finally taken care of.

And, in the epilogue, Maddy starts working on her fear of people being behind her.

And the spice?! Uugghhhhh so much, and soooo hot!

This duet is officially a comfort read for me now!

What A Ride!
Maddy and the boys just keep getting put through the wringer in book 2, but thankfully they have each other to get through it all. This was a very dramatic second half. Out the gate, chapter 1 delivers a heavy blow and the book keeps you on the cusp of a gasp from there. Such a beautiful love story between all of them. Make sure you read trigger warnings!!

Loved the ending to the story. As usually, I was on the edge of my seat several times throughout the book, but the ending made it worth it. I loved how strong yet protective the guys were and how strong Mandy was on her own. Fingers crossed for a spin off for Gina!
