1.5*. Oh dear, what happened? The first book was so good.
The author says it’s written in British English, and I still can’t figure out where it’s based. I’m sure she mentioned pounds in the first book so I assumed it’s based in England. But it’s not our culture at all. The men all walk around with guns, and that wouldn’t happen here. Yes people do have guns illegally but not as standard. The author is so careful to not mention a lot of words that are different, (ie knickers/ panties, cell phone/mobile.) but she was so factually incorrect with everything, it was bizarre. In the first chapter, Jasmine is talking to Christian, and thanking him for getting cleaners in for her mothers house. Christian replies he wouldn’t want the health board to get on to him. WE DON’T HAVE A HEALTH BOARD IN THE UK. One of the fighters weighs 16 stone and 5 OUNCES.😂😂😂 I think the author means 16 stone and five POUNDS!
I didn’t enjoy this book at all. There’s so many spelling mistakes, and incorrect words used, it really spoilt it. For some bizarre reason, the author kept saying ensure instead of assure. When Jasmine was assuring Christian that she would follow his rules, it said she was ensuring him.
There wasn’t really a plot till over halfway through, and I still don’t understand why things happened, and who people were. The brothers had enemies from years ago but it never explained who they were and why they were enemies. The author kept changing people names from their surnames to their first names. So the man who was King all through the first book becomes Geralt in this one. It took me ages to figure out who he even was!!! In the first book Jasmines mother was a drug addict who had cleaned herself up and married Tommy the men’s father. After years of abusing her daughter mentally, and treating her like she hates her, Jasmine tries to have a relationship with her. Why?? I don’t believe she would want to. Her mother is a drug addict at certain times, then she’s not then she is. It really doesn’t work like that, and after years of abusing her body she wouldn’t look healthy as the author describes her.
Sex scenes are really gross in this book. In the first book sex seemed loving and they all took care of Jasmine. In this one it seemed almost like an orgy in parts. 🤮 When three of them take her at the same time she’s in a lot of pain, as yet again they DON’T PREPARE HER FOR A*AL SEX!!!! 😡😡😡
No no no no! Why was the first book so much better? Is it a different author or did she get fed up of writing it halfway through.
This was well balanced. Each of the four mmcs had distinct personalities and ways with her. There was deception, kidnapping, spicy moments and lots of love. Pros: love, caring, cute moments and No Cheating! CONS: a few spelling errors book not written in U.S. English possibly Australian so some sayings might seem off but the errors seem more overlooked editing ex word should be scrub but it read Saab, a few errors like that. Big one that was hard for me was she had to call them All Daddy, as much as it's a personal ick for me, I could understand during sex but they had her call them Daddy all the time. It felt well icky but also felt forced esp outside the bedroom, when you want a close bound to form with each guy separate from sex she can never call them by their names..Christian, Maximus, Sean, and Jason. She comes off as weak, childish and a brat which the do call her often and she sticks her tongue out at them. It never endeared me to her. I would've like the author to allow her growth, keeping the brat only when she wants to get chased for sex etc but for her to mature by the end. She doesn't, also the first part of the book is about her becoming a ballerina and lead one at that. There's no reference to her returning, finishing school to dance or start a school anything. I get they're rich and if they'd discussed her being a mom and quitting ok. There is reference Christian plans to take her off birth control in one year...Honestly I can't see the bratty childish girl being ready to be a mom. I really wanted to see growth from her.
The spice was 2/5 for me not enough, could've been more even one on one showing her connection to each. It was good, a balanced read don't misunderstand me. I don't mind my fmc being spoiled but I did worry most of the book that Christian the eldest brother went too far, was too controlling and she'd stay under his thumb....No growth. Still a four star read...The 2nd in a two book series.
"We are going to be your Daddies and will always put your well-being above all else." pg. 143 book 1
I have to be honest, I didn't think I would like this one. However, I ended up LOVING it. If you don't like Daddy kink in and out of the bedroom, this won't be for you. I honestly wasn't expecting that aspect of the duet but was pleasantly surprised. The men in this are dominant, protective, and possessive. The female lead is independent and hard working, but in desperate need of a keeper, or four. It was a great reverse harem, there is a decent amount of outside drama that I really appreciated.
Things I didn't like - it needs some more editing. Also, I think it would have been fine to make this a standalone with a little less intricate drama?
As soon as Jasmine and her step brothers met they fell for each other, too bad she and them were blind to the other's feelings. Her stepbrothers did what they could to take care of her from a distance while she grew up and went to college. They always planned to make her theirs, but that time comes early when they find out she isn't living the way they thought she was. Turns out Jasmine's mother is ruining her life yet again, drinking and threatening to sell her virginity. Jasmine is unable to stay in the house her stepbrothers were secretly paying for, and instead is working all the time, giving up classes she loves, and living in a run down apartment. Christian 25, Jason 22, Sean and Maximus the twins who are 20 are devastated when they find out. The time to make her theirs comes early with their revelations. They decide to step in and take care of her in all ways, by being her partners and Daddies.
I give this book 5 stars becaise I just loved Jazzy and her guys. I love the sterness of the guys but also the playfulness. I think Jazzy like to swear cause she knew she would get punished. I think she loved it. I love a story when you see so much love and happiness. I hate to see angst but also I love it. Too. As much as I hate what Jazzy went through I love how everyone comes to gether to rescue and watch her grow. I also had a suspicion that Christian killed Jazzy dad when he got the photo at the end of book 1. It was sad for a 15 yr old to do it to save his brother. I'm so glad that Jazzy forgave him and I think it made her heart at ease about her father leaving and never coming back for her. She hated he left her there atleast she knows now. And knows the truth too. Not going to lie I was hoping to have more involvement with McIntosh how ever you spell it lol. The other down side is I wish they would of used the epilog for her and Christians wedding and then the guys ceremony after. And Maybe seeing her with the girls some more. They had alot of fun together. I was glad to see Danielle become a better person and a friend to Jazzy too. She needs friends. I wish they book didn't end. It had everything I wanted and the questions I had were answered that's cool too. I know you will love this duet. I'm looking forward to the next book. I read in reviews Jazzy and her guys make appearances I love them so much. I hope I can buy these in paperback lol. Enjoy!!!
This book did not seem quite as boring as the first one, yet at the same time, I still didn't care for it much. There was finally some action going on, which kept me engaged in the story, and yet emotionally I didn't feel much from any of the characters. Yes, the author told me they were upset, but I didn't feel it much. Of course, that could be that by this time in the duet, I was mostly checked out.
I don't have anything against the Daddy trope, but it was just way overdone. It didn't help that Jasmine came across as way immature on top of it, too. I wasn't really into it in this book. Add in that there were 4 guys, yeah, the Daddy thing got really old really fast. That's why by the time she got kidnapped, I was ready to just move on at that point.
There was no proofreading or editing in here, was there? Wrong versions of your/you're being used, tons of run-on sentences, and random extra or missing punctuation made this especially hard to get through. Pacing felt off, too. We have a book and a half of not much going on, then boom! So much crammed into the last half of the last book. It helped me speed through the rest of the book, but getting there was a slog.
Overall, I don't really think I enjoyed these two books very much. I don't think I would recommend them to others, either.

I enjoyed this what would you call it, reverse harem for Jasmine Conner and her four daddy stepbrothers. Christian the oldest then Jason and of course twins Sean and Maximus O'Reilly. We find in this second book 📚📖 of their story that she is trying to be as happy as she can be without knowing why her father left and finding out what she thought all along that her mother never wanted her. What is revealed is that you should keep your "friends" close and your enemies closer. I can't wait to read the book that contains Jasmine and Christian's marriage and commitment service to the rest of the brothers after having to go through so much being Loved by the O'Reilly brothers. Loved this story it was so good to read something where you can dream about what it would like to be loved by four brothers. This was a good book set in the United Kingdom and I would highly recommend it.
Jasmine meets her four stepbrothers on the day her mom marries their dad. Unbeknownst to her, they have claimed her for themselves. They give her a few years of being on her own but they keep a close watch. They decide it's time to make good on their claim when they find her living in squalor.
Lots of grammatical and word-use errors. Things like using the work "prang" instead of "pang." There are quite a few others. They were pretty distracting. Also, the author didn't use apostrophes for possessive nouns and the commas were missing all over the place. I had to reread sentences to understand what I was reading. That will affect whether I read other books by her.
I liked the story and how devoted they were to her.
Her journey is both heartbreaking and hopeful, as she battles the demons from her past while seeking security in her present. You can't help but wish for someone to take care of her and provide the stability she desperately needs.
In an unexpected turn, she finds comfort and care in the form of four daddies. The relationship she forms with them is unconventional yet profoundly supportive. The kinky elements of their relationship add a unique and layer to the story.
The character development is a strong point of the book. The protagonist's growth from a vulnerable and wary individual to someone who can trust and open up is beautifully portrayed. Her interactions with her daddies are filled with warmth, care, and genuine affection, providing a stark contrast to her troubled past.
I thought the plot for this one was more exciting albeit predictable but again, did the proofreader quit?? So many grammatical errors!
Overall I would say this was a good series. It reminded me a lot of Sadie Kincaid’s Ryan series but not as well executed. There were so many similarities with that series and this one:
-Four Brothers (including one set of twins) -Mafia type activity -alpha males with Dom/sub -Same endearments used towards FMC -horrible/evil parents -Irish roots -Reverse Harem
Check out New York Ruthless Series by Sadie Kincaid if you like the above tropes. It’s one of my favorites of her books!
This is a good read. It has lots of couple action and plotting action from some bad people. I thoroughly enjoyed it. An HEA was obtained, some long standing mysteries were resolved, her grandparents death was explored and family mysteries were resolved. I could not put it down until I finished it. There are some bad guy scenes that may make you cringe after a kidnapping occurs. And there is a sweet reconciliation that clears all mysteries and sets the course for a forever HEA. No cheating by anyone who matters and no cliffhanger. I enjoyed this one.
I think this is the end of Jasmine, Christian, Jason, Maximus, and Sean.
In the second book of the series, Jasmine has been injured and later kidnapped by rivals of the O'Reilly's and finding her mother was involved was devastating been not unpredictable, she has been trying to kill Jasmine for years. These two books were fun, but the next in the series focuses on someone entering different. I think I am disappointed in this, I like the dynamic between Jasmine and her men. Maybe they will be included in some way.
I loved the first one of them four stepbrothers falling for her, and them being her daddies was even better! Loved the little bit of darkness added and the amount of petname use and love in this book was superb. Thoroughly enjoyed this duet!
There are spelling and grammatical errors, so if they stuff sets you off, don’t read it. But it doesn’t change the book & I still loved every second of it!
Why choose/ MFM/ MMFM/ MMFMM/ DdLg/ touch her and die/ mafia
Trigger warning: neglectful parenting/ murder/ death of a loved one/ kidnapping/ SA/ threat of r*pe/ drugs/ guns/ assault/ violence/ trauma
This was just ok. The FMC gets kidnapped and it feels like that plot point lasts for a while before she inevitably gets saved. It wasn’t a particularly long book but I don’t think it needed to be quite as long as it was.

Still needed to go through like 3 rounds of editing. So many errors throughout like the first book. But I was crying by the end. It’s a very dark book. Threats of rape, there’s sexual assault, plenty of murder.
Content Warnings
Graphic: Confinement, Death, Gun violence, Sexual assault, Sexual violence, Kidnapping, Death of parent
This is a dark book. Threats of tape towards the end. And though the fmc isn’t raped, she is penetrated by fingers unwillingly and groped.
At first it kinda bothered me that Jazzy had to refer to the four as Daddy. As I got into book two I understood. I want four O’Reilly brothers for myself!!! Jazzy’s mom…what a piece of yuck. My heart broke for Jazzy, but she’s a very strong woman n rose above it. I enjoyed the Fight Club Series.
The first book was good. Couldn't wait to read the sequel. But the FMC kept getting on my nerves with always calling them daddy. Like every five seconds daddy this and daddy that. I almost DNF'd just because of that. Towards the end the whole suspense was worth reading.
Lot has taken place as each page turns and the answers to so many questions are getting answered! There are things that happen that make you want to scream it is worth reading to the end to finally understand everything happens for a reason the bad with the good!
this duet has made me feel soo many emotions!! i love all the guys and how different each relationship was! the story line and plot was amazing! i will definitely be doing are-read! soo many twists and turns! and the spice😮💨🔥🔥🔥🔥
This was a great read. I enjoy reading how the love grows with this story. Daddies Don in all 4 man but the take care if their girl. They will do anything to protect the one they love
Four Daddies & I is a rollercoaster of emotions, passion, and intrigue. This book doesn't just tell a story; it wraps you in a whirlwind of love, suspense, and sensuality that's impossible to put down.
Jasmine's journey from unlovable to finding a home and heart with the O'Reilly brothers is enchanting. The O'Reilly brothers, with their rugged charm and fierce protectiveness, are the embodiment of every romance reader's fantasy. They are not just lovers; they are her sanctuary, her everything. The dynamics between Jasmine and each of the O'Reilly brothers are beautifully explored, making their bond feel authentic and deeply emotional.
However, this is not just a tale of love and affection. The O'Reilly brothers' darker lifestyle choices add a deliciously dangerous edge. Just when Jasmine thinks she's found her safe haven, shadows from the brothers' past creep in, threatening the idyllic life they've built together. The tension is palpable, the stakes are high, and whether they can shield their precious Jasmine from their demons keeps you on the edge of your seat.
It's about finding love in the unlikeliest places and holding onto it against all odds.
I wish I could give more than a 10 for this story. This book made me laugh at the right times and cry real tears. I love the characters and storyline and everything that made it so real. Thank you D.E. Bartley I love these.
Follow up to Four Steps brothers & I. Very different story line for me. Young lady is taken care.of by her four exceptionally handsome step-brothers. This follow up continues the evolution of their love story. Good read.
Just finished this one and am so sad it is over. I absolutely love the O'Reilly boys and I could read about their adventures with Jasmine all day! This series is so well written I cannot say enough good things about it. I have a feeling I will revist this family again!
I almost stopped reading this book very shortly into it. It was kind of annoying in places. But then around 60% it finally picked up and from there it was a good read.
Okay, this book had such a good plot and I loved the story of how they fell in love, and pining over her for years etc But this constant use of “daddy” make me feel yuk. It was such a shame because the book otherwise was good!
This story picks up where 4 Stepbrothers and I ends. It's a continuation of their story, with more Daddies and lots of twists! Loved the ending! So surprised! Great connections and characters!
What a great story. I have been up 22 hours and was planning to read for a few minutes, well 300 pages later and the end of the story I am ready to sleep. You will enjoy
