Harris does everything he can to get back in her good graces, as she does everything she can to avoid him- no matter how good looking he is.

Great read, likable characters, good story line.
I love all the talk about dogs, vets, shelters and raising money for the shelter. That is something dear to my heart. I loved Ozma and her drive, especially with everything she's had to put up with from her father. I could see myself falling for Harris, and his sweet family. I am mad that I never found out the sex of the baby! Guess that means there is a book 2...

I loved this book so much! I've read all of Allie's books previously and knew this would be just as great!!
I loved each character and what they brought to the storyline. Harris and Ozma were the perfect pair!!
Harris loves his family and is taking care of them, and Rose really pushes his buttons.
Ozma is always bailing her sister out, and she goes to help her one last time with the dog. As well, she's had a bad past relationship that has burned her.
They didn't start off on the right food right from the beginning as Harris is mean, and assumed things he shouldn't have.
Twist of Fate, Rose included, they see each other again, and Harris comes to his senses! I love all the names that Ozma gives him throughout the book! I was laughing all the way through!
Ziggy, the dog, has other plans for Ozma and Harris, and I think it worked.
Ozma goes and helps Harris at the overnight clinic and meets Layla........who isn't excited to see her there. Harris and Ozma start a game of Hangman, and that becomes their thing throughout the whole book. It's so freaking cute!!!
Douglas is being weird to Ozma, and things ensue!
An accident happens at the overnight clinic, and Ozma is in panic mode. Can Harris continue his career after the accident, and can Ozma love him still after it?
Another plot twist, a good one I promise, and I fall in love with the characters all over again!!!
Harris is very protective of his Mom and sister and something happens to them, and he sees red!
I love the Epilogue!!!!
I can see the other characters stories blooming within this book. I can't wait to read the other books when they come out!

DNF @ 20% -- I'm interested in the story but can't get over a few things:

# 1 - Harris' inner voice is a broken record, he repeats the same worries to himself over and over within the same scene.

# 2 - random inconsistencies. Sometimes Ozma has big brown eyes, sometimes dazzling emeralds. Sometimes he has a Mustang, other times he wants to just sleep in his truck.

Wow what an emotional heartwarming read! If you love a hot vet & a sassy boutique this is the book for you! Harris & Ozama are complete opposites but that doesn’t stop fate! Will ozama past catch up to her and scare Harris away? Such a cute read can’t wait to see more from this author!

This book was a quick read that kept my attention. They fell in love quickly and the dating/courting was cute. Nothing steamy and not too much drama. Don’t think the dad parts were needed. It didn’t impact her self esteem. Also seemed to end abruptly to me.

I really enjoyed this. Harris and Ozma could not be more different, but they say opposites attract right?! These two first meet when Ozma brings a stray in to get looked over and Dr Harris immediately jumps to the wrong conclusions. He must then do a world of grovelling to get back in Ozma's good books. I loved Ziggy, any books that incorporate pets or animals is always a winner in my eyes. They just add that lightness to the story.

Their developing relationship was slowburn but felt realistic. They took things slow and I loved their hangman games. There were some very serious issues to contend with along the way and I think they definitely came out stronger for them on the end. All in all, I thought this was a really good read. I recieved an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

Great, cute love story!!

Ozma has had a rough few years but is determined to make her and Blair, her best friend/roommate, dream come true. The day before their grand opening she gets a call from her cousin letting her know she need to come pickup a rescue dog. Last thing she was expecting was that call changing her life.

Harris is the newest vet/surgeon at The Shores Veterinary Hospital. He has seen it all but when he walks into the exam room he gets pissed at the sight in front of him. When the dogs new owner gets in his face he is taken aback but not just by her sassy attitude.

This is a great, cute love story with a few twists. I am going to start the next book in this series. I can’t wait to read Stay!! 🖤🖤

Really enjoyed reading this book. Allie writing is amazing and she had brought the characters alive inn this story. This is about Ozma and Harris, Ozma is not particularly fond of Harris at first as he was not that nice to her but he gradually realises he likes her and makes a effort and does alot of apologising. Love how the pets bring them together in this story love little Ziggy. This a charming story with laughs and angst and romance. Very much recommend this book and look forward to reading more from this author.

I thoroughly enjoyed this heartwarming, funny and angsty read. When opposites attract, sparks fly or at least they did when Ozma and Harris met. Their first meeting definitely started off with a rocky start but I found the show off between a feisty Ozma and brash Harris quite entertaining. The witty banter and sizzling chemistry between them kept me hooked. The characters were all well developed and I am looking forward to their stories next. If you enjoy a great feel good story of opposites attract that will give you all the feels then you should check out Sit asap!

First book by Allie York that I've read, but definitely not the last! The writing was good and the story flowed steadily forward.

I could feel the sparkles between Harris and Oz. It was good to see that author haven't made them too perfect. That they had their own insecurities. There were passion and dedication in this book. I liked the fact that there weren't too much drama.

Would Harris be my book boyfriend? No need to ask. I love green eyes!

I Absolutley love this story, not every relationship starts with love at first sight and it definatly shows you can never judge a book by its cover.
Oz has been treated bad in her younger years by someone who was suppose to love her unconditionally but Harris shows her what real love is supposed to be like.

I loved this book ! When Ozma takes in a neglected puppy she doesn't take too kindly to being accused of the neglect by the arrogant but sexy vet , what follows is a cat and mouse story whilst she tries not to succumb and him not giving up.
The chemistry between the characters was off the charts, they both made me laugh and the ending whilst a lot of drama unfolded was absolutely perfect
