Unlike many other Malayalam novels in the same genre, this book eschews superfluous cryptic clues or contrived puzzles presented by a serial killer solely for the sake of dramatic climax; instead, every clue is imbued with a coherent rationale, enriching the reader's engagement. Only an investigator of exceptional acumen, akin to the legendary Sherlock Holmes, could unravel the intricacies of this case.
The narrative is devoid of unnecessary twists and clichés, presenting a refreshing departure from the typical tropes associated with the subject of serial killings—a theme that, despite its frequent exploration throughout literary history, is executed here with remarkable finesse. The incorporation of nursery rhymes adds a unique and intriguing element, elevating the story’s appeal.

I took this book without any expectations,but this book literally surprised me with the plot,the writing style is very close to Sherlock Holmes.It is like a Sherlock Holmes in a Kerala village setting .Its a great story except the fast pace when approached to the climax.However I consider it as a different kind of climax.Overall this story satisfied me.
