The fifth book in the series you'll want to read in order to get most out of the series
CW: violence, body horror, near death by wasp stings, revenge porn/nonconesual filming (past), anxiety
I would recommend if you're looking for (SPOILERS)

I adore this series and love how every book has a different vibe that fits the vibe of the couple. Continuing the action packed adventure it's time for Brooke and Cole's HEA. Cole has been anti magic and anti Brooke, but these two have explosive chemistry and struggle to keep their horny hands off of each other. With things getting dire on the island, their magic is needed.
Gosh I just adored their dynamic. Brooke was pure sunshine and friendly and carefree, while Cole was stiff, grumpy and just seen by everyone in his life as uncaring. But he was all in on Brooke once he stopped fighting it. And these two in the bedroom gosh. When the daddy kink just dropped in seamlessly HALOOOO. This series is such a horny ride and I just had so much fun reading these two bang it out and fall for each other. Their journey wasn't easy, and the ending had me swooning.

This book follows Cole and Brooke and it is an epitome of grumpy and sunshine romance, which I love dearly. Cole is seemingly so cold towards everyone and everyone and the grumpiest of grumps, going as far as actively resisting any involvement into fighting the curse. Brooke is sunshine incarnate and I love her hippy feels (I would very much like to take up morning yoga with her).
What I really love in this book is how Brooke sees Cole. How she understands that he is a protector at heart and how he might seem cold, but its only exterior and he actually is a very caring person on the inside. And the way Cole has this instinct inside of him to protect Brooke from everything and that final twist in the book makes all the sense when you understand his love for Brooke.
We are in the endgame now and I'm eager to see how the group will be able to take down the curse. It's not looking good because they are still incomplete and the last couple really have to make it or break it. I cannot wait!

This was my favorite couple I love Cole as much as I loved Gallen. You could never go wrong with a sunshine grump romance the only issue that I have at this book is that he gave up his magic to protect Brooke and he had feels a holoness from it, I wish he didn't have to do that to be honest'cause I loved them bonding

A Touch Dazzled
Holy cow and horses and every other thing this one was intense. Brooke and Cole have had me curious from book one on how they would work together and man did they take me for a ride. This series and the over all story are stealing my days and nights because I just need to find out what happens!!

Brooke and Cole are two of my favorite characters. Cole is so stoic and I just love his grumpy ass.

Loved the pairing but damn him giving up his magic was just an unnecessary sacrifice and quite poorly put in
