So this book starts off shaky from the very beginning with the synopsis. The way it’s worded I thought that Londyn and Jivenchi were in some kind of love triangle with Brahmin. Once I started reading I became confused, I had to reread the synopsis to see if I was tripping. Well Brahmin is Londyn’s father and Jivenci, Londyn’s best friend is the love interest of Londyn’s brother Aayan. This book is riddled with errors pretty much from page one. The most notable one is that Londyn wears a hijab but it’s referred to as a wahab throughout the entire book. With that out of the way, Londyn and her family moved to the states from Somalia. Despite being there for several years Brahmin is very overbearing and overprotective. He controls everything that she does and wears as well as still having her living according to Somalian culture. The book opens with Londyn having nightmares about an unrecognizable man holding her hostage. Little does Londyn know that she’ll be meeting the boogeyman real soon. On Londyn’s 21st birthday, she decides to stand up to her parents and take control of her life. Brahmin and his sons are a part of the Lebanese Mafia and Brahmin’s appetite has become too big. Even though Londyn is innocent, having no clue what her family does, she ends up paying the price for her father’s greed. Londyn’s best friend and brothers are secondary characters but we get to see their stories unfold as well. This story ends on a cliffhanger but books two and three are out. With all of the errors the book is just ok but has me intrigued enough to want to find out what happens next.

Ready for part two!!!
I'm loving these characters. When I tell you I can't even choose sides cause I like both sets of brothers. Brahmin can face the music cause that's what he gets for being greedy. His sons Saleem and Aayan welcome all smoke when it comes to their sister Londyn. Valentino vouched for Brahmin, so why would he cross that crazy nicca is beyond me. Valentino has something more precious than those black diamonds. Saleem and Aayan gonna make it rain acid when it comes to Londyn. 💛💛

Great Read
One thing I love about this Author is the uniqueness of her characters name's. She also know how to be very thorough and detailed without her storyline dragging. The only issue I have is that a lot of her characters parents in some of her books have the same characteristics. Greed, selfishness, disloyal, scandalous and hate that their children feel towards them. I felt sorry for Jivenchy from the beginning because of what happened to her, her mother turning a blind eye and kicking her out as such a young age after the trauma she dealt with getting her innocence taken by her mother boyfriend, and then being preyed on by Chief. Jivenchy don't know if yet but everything isn't going to be peaches and cream moving in with Londyn and her family. Aayan and Saleem knew their father Brahmin was a snake. The only person who wasn't privy to their father ways was Londyn because she has been sheltered and forced to live the traditional way because of their family tradition. Londyn was shedding all of her garbs for her twenty first Birthday which will put her in danger behind her father thieving ass. Saleem dislike for Brahmin is strong. Being the oldest out of the sibling's. He had a head start on seeing who their father really was. Aayan the second oldest is impulsive, hot headed, and don't give a damn. He better keep his eye's on Milan. She can tell that Jivenchy has piqued Aayan interest and jealousy can become dangerous. Valentino came straight out of prison getting his hands dirty although he prefer peace but being that he is the one who talked his father into trusting and doing business with Brahim and Brahim turning around to snake them. He had to handle the situation. Dreams have a habit of coming true and Londyn dream at the beginning definition came to fruition. I believe after getting snatched. She's about to find out who her father and brother's really is and what they really do for a living. Especially her father Brahim.

How you going to leave me at the alter, just disappear, have my baby that you don’t even have millions a miles away, pop back up without her and tell me I have a daughter. Saleem going out sad because ain’t no way in hell. Finished this book within hours that’s how captivating each character has you. I love Jiji for Lundy, unconventional how they became best friends but Jiji is just what the doctor order for the shelter child. Don’t swip past this book, you definitely won’t be disappointed. Wellllll, the ending will 😅😩

Enjoyable Read
This was a good read but I had to constantly go back and read the synopsis due to my confusion with the initial chapters. In the synopsis, the author referred to Brahmin as if he were a love interest to Londyn and not her father as well as indicating Jivenchi was attracted to him when in actuality she was attracted to Aayan. Additional, the constant references throughout to the head covering Londyn wore as a wahab instead of hijab had me checking the dictionary. This needs to be corrected. Once I was able to clarify things in my head, I truly enjoyed the story. The man in Londyn’s dreams/nightmares is undoubtedly Valentino and I am looking forward to what happens between them as well as Jivenche and Aayan.

She buried her entire foot in this book and left no crumbs, what a great read. Not your typical romantic love story but it was good. The Brassi family were some savages. Despite being a wild family, the Brassi's always looked out for one another. Brahmin should've thought about his kids before he did what he did. Milan should've never took a f long personal. Jivenchi and Aayna are two peas in a pod. Itali was so wrong for leaving Saleem and not telling him about his daughter but I'm glad he gave her a second chance bcuz people make mistakes. Londyn just so green and lost about everything. I need part2!

Proof Read Proof Read!!!!!!! 😠
This story would be a lot better if someone would have just proof read it before releasing it. It makes it so hard to focus on the story when you have to guess what they are trying to say. There are so many inconsistencies in this story, like Itali was in college for dancing (choreography) and wanted to go the Juilliard School in New York, but now she a Nurse, like really??? And to get to the house you had to come by boat and leave your car, so how did Saleem get his sisters car in front the house??? Or how did the kidnappers drive up the driveway??? There are many more but Seriously proof read before releasing. Overall it's okay.

This book was off the chain. The way their mother acts is just crazy. I just knew Branhim was going to blow a gasket when Londyn came downstairs with plain clothes. I’m glad Londyn’s brothers were there to stick up for her because I really don’t think she would have said anything that she wanted on her birthday. I thought Saleem was going to murder Itali. I was scared just reading that chapter. Branhim’s greedy self put his whole family in jeopardy. I can’t wait for part 2.

This series is gonna be lit. I hate how babygirl father got her doing the things from their old country. Her big brother came in and set their dad straight and I'm glad or oldest brother set their dad straight too. He was fucked up being a snake and pulling his family into it. U did good on yet another book and I'm looking forward to reading more of them. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and while eating popcorn while waiting on the next book to read

Yasss I think Londyn and Valentino are about to be my new favorite couple. Londyn’s dad Brahmin being greedy has put her in a predicament that she didn’t see coming or had any clue about. It’s funny that the dreams/nightmares of being kidnapped by an unknown man has come true and I can’t wait too see how it all plays out because Valentino has fallen in love with her at first sight.

I love the way the author sets up the story line for this book. She allows you to get to know each character. But i will say that I'm pissed that this book ended on a cliff lol i definitely need the sequel like yesterday! I honestly see this series being a root for other spin offs! Great read but i need the author to drop 2 books at a time!

I enjoyed this book. I want to know what happened to Londyn and her friend javenchi. Did her and vee get together. Did her brothers find her. How did they get her away from her guard and best friend. What happened to Brahmin and his wife. I can’t wait to read part 2.

Hood love, rich vibes
This book is already great. I love Miss jazzy because she brings realness in all her books. London is gullible to the life her brothers and father live and to bring her friend in this drama may not have been a good idea. Saleem is a killer as to is his brother but can they save her from a deal gone wrong with the opps. Can’t wait for book 2
