Outer Space Whimsy

This relatively straightforward coloring book features multiple elements associated with space on each page: planets, comets, spaceships, moons, astronauts, and more. No attempt is made to make these look realistic; I particularly liked the planet with two zany rings that crossed each other! The publisher states the book is for ages four and up. This coloring book does have wide open spaces to color, so it might work well for a 4-year-old with good fine motor skills, and older children could add their own effects, patterns, and shading to make the relatively simple images come to life. If you have or know a child who is fascinated with space and likes to color, she or he will probably enjoy this coloring book.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
