John Wesley the Methodists

Rate this book
"What God hath wrought!"--at he age of eighty-eight, John Wesley summed up his life with these words. During his lifetime he had travelled more than a quarter of a million miles on horseback, taking the gospel to the people of England. "The world is my parish" was his response to those who questioned his mission.

By the time of his death, John Wesley had laid the foundations of modern Methodism. How did this happen? What drove this singular man?

This book shows, in words, and pictures, the life and achievements of John Wesley, and the story of the growth and development of Methodism, first in Britain, then throughout the world.
