What's a Little girl to do when being true to herself could cost her the Daddy of her dreams?

After months of watching her closest friends find their perfect Daddies, Jade knows it's time to come clean and share the secret she's kept so close to her heart all this time: She isn't really a Little.

At least, not how her friends are Little. While she wants a Daddy of her own, she's tired of being treated like a baby all the time.

Just as she's beginning to explore her new "Middle" persona, she meets Ryan Drake. Not only is he the most gorgeous man she's ever laid eyes on, he's willing to be whatever kind of Daddy Jade needs.

Or at least, the kind of Daddy she thinks she needs.

When a sudden illness has Jade craving the kind of care she used to get with Baze, she's terrified she'll have to make an impossible choice:

The forever she's dreamed of with her perfect Daddy. Or living the life she truly wants.

Vulgarity is a punishable offense -- unless you're reading my kink book, in which case, it's totally fine.

When I first started to read erotica several years ago, I unwittingly got two books that explicitly advocated destroying art. In the DD romance Teaching Miss Maisie Jane, the MMC burns the heroine's books because they're "filth" ("a man ripping the bodice of a woman’s dress off, exposing her bosoms. It was a dirty book!"). Bella Bryce pens a similar scene in The Shortlist: Waldorf Manor Book Two when the MMC throws the MFC's sketches into the fire because they took her attention away from him. Although the motivations differ slightly, the actions and outcomes are the same: a man dictates not only what is acceptable art, but also what kind of art his woman is exposed to and when. Leaving aside the tone-deaf, jaw-dropping hypocrisy displayed by any smut peddler author who equates "defiling what is pure and sacred" with "reading that filth" and any writer who lovingly recounts incinerating someone's creative work, both were just fine crafting reactionary, anti-art scenes featuring heroes we were supposed to root for.

I say all this because with this book Bayleigh Rae/Rayanna Jamison joins those ranks. In this case, Jade, who identifies as a Middle, enjoys music that Pastor Ryan describes as a
"litany of harsh and inappropriate words [that] made his blood run cold [since] it can have a negative effect on our outlook on life, our mental health, and the way we view the world around us. It can breed things like anger, depression, and hate, and bring us down.”
The author doesn't quote any lyrics so the only arbiter of this "lewd and vulgar" art is the male character himself, who hastens to assure Jade that he isn't some "fuddy-duddy" preacher (Newsflash: he totally is; I mean, this guy even hates make-up); rather, he just wants to "protect her" from any music that isn't "uplifting."

All I can say to any like-minded authors is that you write pure, unadulterated literary porn, where nearly negligible plots exist only to showcase innumerable smexy scenes. Further, some of the kinks (particularly Age Play) would be viewed by many as similarly "lewd," "vulgar," "inappropriate," and "yucky." But you keep telling yourselves that your books would never, ever fall under these categories; your books have no "messages" anyone would want to protect others from; and your books are safe from burning.

2 stars because at least it's consensual (in this current book-banning climate, I'd give 0 if I could). Gotta say that the ability to be liberal about sex and conservative about, well, literally everything else is no mean feat. BTW, just what genre of music do you think Jade might have been listening to? Maybe one that's often critiqued for being "vulgar angry music" with "explicit lyrics" and "heavy subject matter?" What ethnicity is this genre associated with? And what ethnicity is Jade? Enough said. Note: Beating someone for not reading the Bible doesn't seem all that Christian to me, but it's not my religion so who knows?

Jade has felt like she is more middle but afraid of being rejected if she says it to daddy Blaze and the other littles. It’s a struggle since she doesn’t want to be alone again. They are like a family. Blaze makes sure their needs are taken care of emotionally and physically from hiring a chief to a clergy. Lots of her friends have found their daddy’s. She would love to have one too. Pastor Ryan did not take the job because he was in the lifestyle but because his ideas for how to give the church message was not mainstream to where he had come from. So when Jade tells Blaze that she’s a middle he gives her rules that are for that age. So when pastor Ryan hears her singing along to improper music he confronts her that’s where their journey begins. He takes her to Blaze to tell on her behavior and his reaction is daddy reaction. They do learn in this journeys some moments reverts her to younger than a middle. So that has to be worked out as well. I love these books. I received a arc for a honest review

Jade is book 3 in The Las Vegas Littles series. I really fell in love with her!! She started out the book as a Little, but realized very quickly she didn’t like that. She really felt she identified as a Middle. It’s harder to find books about Middles. Rarely do you find books that a character starts as a Little, but then changes to a Middle.

Jade’s description of herself and how she lives her life fits me to a T. Watching both Jade, and her counterpart, Ryan, fall into the pattern of their relationship was real. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It made me feel like I was reading MY life through the pages, how I felt.

The only issue (and it’s not that big of an issue) I had with this read was the progression. It flowed REALLY well through about 55% then BAM alllllll the stuff started happening in like hyper speed. Other than that, this was a phenomenal read (that I read in one sitting - which I haven’t done in a LONG time!).

After finishing the book I'm still iffy about Ryan but Jade makes up for that to make the book enjoyable. Jade finally summons the courage to tell Mister Daddy/Baze that she hasn't been truthful. She is actually a middle who was being a little because she was afraid she wouldn't be able to stay at Utopia. Once she started living as her true self her life only got that much better. I love all the communication between Ryan and Jade. Constantly talking and checking in with one another to keep their relationship strong. Jade gets sick and realizes she needs to be treated like a little instead of a middle. She wants baths, bottles, binkies, chewable medicine and diapers. I love that Ryan whole heartily accepts her even if she is in baby, little or middle space. Such a good fast read with a great DD/mg-lg-bg relationship!

I am leaving my honest review for a complimentary copy of this book via the author.

I was really on the fence with rating this book. Jade came out and decided she was a middle and didn't want to wear diapers when it suited her? Pastor Ryan, on the other hand, was so not a Daddy. He was trying to change her which I didn’t like. She’s an adult when you want to fool around, but she’s not allowed to wear makeup? Most woman enjoy wearing some form of makeup and that to me is totally wrong. Additionally, no one should ever be forced into religion in my opinion. Reading the bible, saying grace etc is a personal choice in which she should make herself. Also, she graduated high school, why take classes? Pastor Ryan just needs to stick to his day job as he totally fails as a Daddy. Unfortunately, Jade is probably thinking with her V and not her brain. She’ll wake up one day and start resenting things.

Made me uncomfortable.

Sorry, but I don't like my kink books to have anything to do with religion. I just kept cringing throughout this story and put it down and left it for weeks. The only reason I finished it was to be able to remove the download from my tablet. It was confusing trying to reconcile what I know of my religion, and that Ryan was supposedly a serious pastor. And their sex scenes just felt wrong the way they were written. And the fact that Ryan had no interest in, or any training in DD/lg until he met Jade only added to everything. It just seemed dangerous to me for them to be on their own so fast, and for him to not recognize Jade's distress when she was so sick, and he'd leave her by herself with a high fever. Nope. Sorry, I don't recommend this story at all.

A perfect uplifting addition to Utopia.

Pastor Ryan is a unique character, open to any and all new experiences after finding his niche among Utopia's diverse residents. How unique he is adds the spice. The education and training of a new Daddy was entertaining, observing as he found his natural born talent was an eye opener.

I really liked Jade and how she handled her conundrum , reaping her rewards and benefitting through new experiences.

I love the threads of humour woven into all these stories, they are easy to read and leave you feeling good. The general atmosphere of acceptance in Utopia provides for many adventures and resident's stories to come, I can't wait.

unexpected relationship

Pastor Ryan is hired for Utopia for a spiritual/religious leadership.
He was not happy conforming to what everyone else expected of him.
Jade did not seem 100% happy as a little Little.
She felt more like a middle Little but afraid of voicing her concerns.
When the 2 of these meet, seems chemistry is starting to sizzle.
They seem to be polar opposites but as they get to know each other, the more they are in sink with each others needs, wants and desires.
Another great story and can not wait to read the rest of this series.

I read an early review copy of this book for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book like all the others so far in the series and I found this story was a little different from the others, because Ryan was a pastor and a man of God, and yet he was a little different from what I’m used to. I loved Jade and how she struggled with it herself to except that she was a middle and not a little. It was a great story, and there was the same amount of kink and steamy moments between these characters. I still recommend the book and look forward to reading more in this series.

I am voluntarily leaving my review for this book and this is my honest and fair opinion.

Pretend to be a Little when you are not? To stay and fit in with her friends, Jade tries. Pastor Ryan is not a Daddy, or at least, he thinks he isn't. With a little help and some soul searching, they find their way together. Of course they find their HEA. Again, it could be read as a standalone, but better to read at least the first book of the series to understand how it all came about.

I received an ARC of this book and am freely leaving this review.

Jade and Ryan

As one of the Little’s who lived to the penthouse in Vegas, Jade knew she was special. But she didn’t want to be a little she was a Middle. Now she only had to get the courage to explain herself to Mister Daddy.
Ryan is a pastor looking for his flock. So he moved to Vegas from the Midwest.
Ryan doesn’t know if he is a Daddy but Jade would love for him to be her Daddy.
This is their journey.
Enjoy

Anytime religion is used in a story, the author has to be very careful because of all the judgey people but Bayleigh Rae handled it pretty well. Jade is confused at times about who she really is and Ryan is going to help her figure it out! Their connection was spot on and I loved their story. I only wish it would have been a little longer but I'm fine with it. The cover is adorable and fits with others in the series.

Wonderful read

I loved the interaction between the minister and Made and the way they found their own connection and how her discovering she was actually a middle and the Mr Daddy once again came to the rescue.

I guarantee that you will love this read and all the elements of comprises of as Utopia continues to grow and develop, it is getting closer to its opening day and BreNDAN community are waiting in earnest.

On the surface this is a lovely romance about two people falling in love, but I think it's more about self discovery and living your truth. Both Jade and Pastor Ryan spend most of the story learning and accepting things about themselves, and together they discover their places in the world and true joy. The romance is sweet, the chemistry is steamy, and there is a beautiful blend of humor and tenderness. I really enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I was glad Jade wanted to become her true self and live as a middle. It was fun to see Pastor Ryan discovering his daddy side. It was a well written book about learning to navigate a relationship and stay true to yourself in the process. The ending of this book was my favorite of all of the Las Vegas Little's Books.

I must admit there were parts of the story I struggled with but overall I loved Jade and Ryan. I Liked that Jade has figured out she is a middle and not a little. I Liked that Ryan is a pastor who finds out more about himself in Utopia. I also liked that Jade wasn't just a middle.

Another great read by this author. This story has a priest who decides to make the Vegas little resort his home. In doing so he meets Jade and starts feeling maybe he has found his new home and in doing so maybe something he didn’t know he needed like a Little girl who needs a Daddy. Although part of a series this is a standalone with a HEA.

In Vegas anything can happen. You can find your daddy, your daddy can find out he's a daddy, and you can admit who you think you are. This is Jade and Pastor Ryan's story and it's not really what you'd think it might be but more. Pastor Ryan had some things to learn but he also followed his instincts and Jade had to figure out how to communicate her needs to him. It has surprises, little stuff and everyone we've come to love. I'm really enjoying this series, the author makes the stories ones that make you smile and I can't wait for the next one!!

This is probably my favorite of the series. Jade finds herself being not true to herself and her needs to fit in. Ryan is trying desperately to find his place in the world. Together they find a way to each other and their HEA. A fun sweet read in the series.

Really enjoyed the latest installment in the Las Vegas Littles series. When Ryan first entered the series, I wondered how his role would play out. I never would have imagined how well he would fit! I love the way he and Jade figured out what worked for them. Can't wait for book 4!

I absolutely loved this story. Jade is a strong character and finally works up the courage to live her authentic life. Ryan is new to being a Daddy but picks it up so quickly it seems second nature. The spicy times were hot and it ended in a HEA. Love this series and cannot wait for the next book

Babies, Littles, Middles & oh my!

Another cute installment. I loved seeing someone evolving in their journey. For some people, their age is fixed. For others, it can be fluid &/ situational.

Little who discovers she's more of a middle, check. Protective man who realizes he may have some Daddy tendencies, check. Figuring out a new type of relationship for both of them, check. I LOVE THIS STORY SO MUCH. Jade finally gets the courage to speak up and let everyone know she's not the same kind of little as the rest of the girls. And right on the heels of that big change, Pastor Ryan may be the daddy of her dreams. But new love doesn't always run smoothly and I love how the author doesn't give them an easy time of it. Relationships require communication and these two learn that all too well. Great HEA. The stories in this series are all so unique and I love delving into the lives of these Las Vegas Littles and the perfect daddy for each of them. Keep them coming.

Quick and sweet!

Jade is the third book of the Las Vegas Littles series of interconnected standalones. This was a sweet and quick read. Jade comes to terms that she isn’t living her true self. When she is caught doing something she knows she shouldn’t by Pastor Ryan she starts to see him differently. I loved the way Ryan was there for Jade and was exactly what she needed when she needed him. I also loved that we get to see more of the characters from the previous books. If you need a quick, easy read that will make you heart happy, then this book is for you!
