Rate this book
In June of 2020 the Siberian town of Verkhoyansk in Arctic Russia hit an astonishing 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit. Author Joe McLaughlin was so stunned by this event that he decided to write book 6 in the Alfredo Gomez series, Arctic Heatwave. In book six, boxing hero Alfredo Gomez and his wife and friends visit Verkhoyansk and experience the heatwave firsthand. But the heatwave is not all they must face. The evil Russian dictator Vladsmear Poison is bent on conquering the world starting with Siberia. Vladsmear's lust for power is insane, and whenever he conquers a territory, he orders the people there to build immense pyramids and monuments in his honor. He fancies himself to be a great Egyptian king, and orders all people to call him Pharaoh. It's up to Alfredo Gomez to put an end to Vladsmear's evil ways and liberate the Siberians from captivity.
