This book was a bit different, which made it interesting and enjoyable. None of the books in this series are connected. Each one is its own individual story. Why they're set as a series is beyond me, but they are. This story has action, mystery, love, sex, magic, intrigue, adventure, betrayal, loss, killing & death, greed, sadness, happiness, and violence. The character, Tania, was a little fire cracker. She stood up for herself even if she knew she wasn't going to win the fight. Michael was rude and grouchy cause he didn't want to admit his feelings for a certain little werewolf. Gabriel's character was sweet and caring, but he was seriously messed up in the head. You'll find out what I mean about that when you read the book. There is hardly any shifting in this story, mostly, everyone stays in their human forms. I recommend this book to anyone who wants a good story that isn't your typical werewolf love story. Enjoy!
