Snowed In

Rate this book
Friends with benefits during a snowstorm lockdown. What could go wrong?

CHAD
Locked down with a stunning little firecracker, during the snowstorm of the century.
The chemistry between us could have melted the entire storm.
Except she's my sister's best friend and totally off-limits.
But with her flair for drama and an ass that screamed my name, it was like throwing a match to gasoline.
Friends with benefits would ease the ache inside me but would it distract me from my end goal?

BRYANNA
His ink-covered physique, steel-grey eyes and sketchy reputation weren't the only reasons I needed to stay away.
I needed to get back to my life, not be side-tracked by an ex-con turned chef, who clearly had an agenda of his own.
Except he looked at me like he wanted to eat me for dinner. And I'd be lying if I said that didn't turn me on.
Maybe a little casual fun wouldn't hurt?

Being forced to stay in Maple Cove is exactly what the members of the Roberts' family don't want. But being motivated by an inheritance can change things. So can being locked down, during a snowstorm, with your best friend's brother. What starts out as a casual secret affair, may prove to be the stress relief that is needed. But only if no one falls in love.

Snowed In is a forced proximity, best friend's brother romance. Book 2 in the Maple Cove series, takes place in the midst of a massive snowstorm that only serves to up the ante on the family drama and sizzling chemistry between all the wrong people. If you like your romance burning hot, with a side of suspense, then you will love Snowed In -Book 2 of Cassidy London's Maple Cove series. This book was very difficult for me. The premise of the book was great. The execution not so much. The focus of this story was screwed up. While we should have witnessed the blossoming romance between our main characters i had the feeling that 80% of the book was still about the main cbaracters of book one. The friends with benefits arrangement was talked about at 70% of the book. And was active for one night than they started the relationship. The whole thing feelt rushed as well since the spotlight was shared with another cupple and the family Drama. Conflicts where solved instantly. No true fight or someone being mad. Bry talked to Matt once one on one. And he told her they where cool till she was mad at his girlfriend. The Situation with the girlfriend was resolved but never with Matt.
I did not like the characters either. Protagonist of book one seemed here like a tipical whiny youngest chield. She cant really empathise but expects everyone to understand her. The female lead of book two is emotionally screwed up but it is adressed and suddenly everybody is fine with it. No real development or anything. The male lead was the most likeable character (and he used to Deal drugs) sadly his development happened before the book started.
The third cupple was there i dont know why because the interaction with them was so minimal everything about the tension you would have needed from the "antagonist" was a phonecall or two would have had the same effect.

But that is my opinion. Like always i recommend everyone to read this book for themselfes since this is my opinion and yours can be completely diffrent.

I didn't think this series could get any hotter and then along came Bryanna and Chad to set my kindle on FIRE! Smoke and flames EVERYWHERE! Bryanna, a social media belle and Chad, the bad boy with a heart of gold...having them come together and share one another is absolutely combustible. If you thought Carly and Matt singed your pages, you ain't seen nothin' yet, I can promise you that.

The series picked right back up where it had left off and the web of lies and secrets just keeps growing. While some secrets were revealed, others are still hiding away to undoubtedly surprise us in the next book (which can't come out fast enough btw). Matt comes clean, Carly is shocked, Rob could be a villain waiting in the wings, Christy is still as vile as ever and the love story that unfolds between Carly's older brother, Chad and her best friend, Bryanna, is mouthwatering!

Ms. London has done and incredible job keeping tabs on everyone's deceits and making the story cohesive. This is never an easy feat with multiple storyline and yet she accomplishes it gracefully.

SUCH a great book and I cannot wait to read the next in the series! I want my answers!

I have read all of Cassidy London’s books and she never disappoints. She is my go to when I need some erotic romance mixed with some sweet love!!!

We met Carly and Matt in FALLING IN, the 1st book in the Maple Cove series and you may have thought book 2 would continue with their story but it doesn’t. This is about Chad, Carly’s brother and her best friend Bryanna. I was not a fan of Chad in FALLING IN, but I now have a soft spot for him and he is OH SO YUMMY!

I loved watching Chad and Bryanna come together, watching their chemistry build and fade but there is so much secrecy in this family you never know who is going to break who’s heart.

“No, baby...you don't understand. I'm falling for you and I can no longer pretend casual hookups are enough for me. I want all of you, every day.”

Cassidy does such an amazing job with the story line. This book may focus on Chad and Bryanna but you get to continue to read about Matt and Carly. I love when authors can stay focused on the main story line but can combine their series to watch all the characters grow.

This is book two in the Maple Cove series and we are picking up and running right where book one left us. This book focuses on Charly's older brother, Chad and her best friend, Bryanna. The base of the story still remains where the Robert's siblings have to live together in their father's house for one year to get their portion of the heritance. The family's antics, secrets and oil and water chemistry makes for a great read on its own but add in an the off the charts instant connection between Chad and Bryanna.....well that just makes things all the more fun. Enjoy!.

Snowed In (Maple Cove 2) by Cassidy London. WOW- holy drama batman! And right from the get-go too. Chad and Bryanna are caught in the crossfire trying to figure out what exactly is going on with the inheritance clause, her BBF, and the growing feelings for one another. I enjoyed this story and would recommend to others looking for family drama, heated connections, and embracing love at last. Book 2 in the Maple Cove Series and it is a great addition. Chad and Bryanna are great characters with amazing chemistry. Chad is the older brother of Carly, Bryanna’s best friend and this book picks up right where book one left off.

There are secrets everywhere and just when you think they all are revealed….nope!.

Cassidy London doesn't disappoint in her second instalment of the Maple Cove series. Snowed In is everything you want in a sexually charged, emotionally complex erotic romance. Chad and Bryanna are insanely hot! I loved seeing them come together (pun intended!) and the family drama they're wrapped up in is tense, to say the least. I can't wait to see what happens next in Maple Cove!

I loved that this book picked up right where the last one left off. In this one however, you get two different characters POV. As much as I was looking forward to more Matt & Carly, I enjoyed getting the backstory on Chad and Bryanna more than I thought I would. A perfect spicy novel to read between Thanksgiving and Christmas time!

Digital issues

Not only is this novel full of repetitive scenes involving the various characters, there are two instances where chapters are repeated verbatim! How could this happen? Apparently, the book was not fully reviewed before posting on Amazon. This is NOT an inconsequential issue and those who purchased the book should be reimbursed.

Snowed in

This was a fun read. Talk about family drama, this book sure had it., but in the end thankfully most of the family worked to fix what was broken.

This is book 2 of 3 of a series and I think that you should read the series in order as there are bits of story that you wouldn’t know about unless you read the first book.

It has a happy for now ending. Overall I thought the story was ok but some places it didn’t flow well and some repetition.

I so needed this!! I’m in love with this series. I love how this picked up right where Falling In: Maple Cove #1 left off. Some questions were answered that I was scratching my head over. I can’t wait to see what’s next!! 🖤💙🖤

Part of a series with a satisfactory ending - but still don’t know about the outcome of that will….
Lots of feel good and family drama.
