Rest. Overcoming Spiritual Fatigue

Rate this book
REST invites the reader into deeper intimacy with Jesus, the giver of rest. Jesus invites the weary and burdened to come to Him. This book will lead readers on a journey to understanding genuine soul rest and how to achieve this rest while examining and modifying spiritual, personal, and professional priorities, in order to move to abundant living and leading and develop an aggressive attentiveness to the presence of God. Offers reflection and discussion questions at the end of each chapter. Section One reveals areas where leaders resist rest. Section Two focuses on God’s rest, as seen in Scripture, and how to lead from that rest.

This book is a tiny book I really spent my time on. It takes the wisdom of resting, identifying spiritual fatigue, and practicing spiritual disciplines and puts it jn a really compact little book for ministry leaders to feel seen and a path forward in spiritual fatigue. Grateful for this book!
