Rate this book
From J.M. Poole, the bestselling author of The Corgi Case Files. A family celebration for Dia de los Muertos gets interrupted by a series of thefts, small items intended to honor the ancestors. Does it have something to do with Highland House, the B&B that’s suspected of harboring a few of its own ghosts? At once, the smart and lovable corgis are on the case. Sherlock and Watson, along with their human helpers, Zack and Jillian Anderson, will unravel the mystery, clue by clue.Praise for Jeffrey Poole and the Corgi Case “I can't wait for the next book. I love mysteries and animals, so these books are perfect reading for me. Sherlock is a small furry Jessica Fletcher.” – H. This is another really good book from Jeffrey M. Poole. I have read several other books by this author and thought I give another one a try. It did not disappoint. All his books(that I've read) are quick reads but have a really good story with good characters (yes even the corgis) that keep the story moving right along. If you are looking for a good, quick read you found it.

This short story didn't grab me as much as others in the Corgi Case Files. It was a bit meh! As an aside, it seemed like author J.M. Poole was channelling author CW Hawes. The writing style and "voice" was SO similar!

A cute short story, with two corgi detectives helping their owner solve mysteries.
