There’s generally two types of people and therefore two types of cop. Good cop, bad cop. Good person, bad person. I’m behind door number three though. Psycho cop. That’s what the papers are calling me anyways. My commanding officer has some more colorful phrases, but my conviction rate is off the charts and criminals still sweat bullets when they hear my name mentioned. After failing my annual psychiatric review and with a slew of civil cases against me and the department, I know I’ve reached the end of a chapter. Suspension at least but even a bad detective could tell you how this one really ends. If I lose my career, my only cover for what I really do to rid the world of evil scum, the only thing I can do to stop my own nightmares… then it’ll only be a matter of time before I’m caught myself. Sharing a cage with all the animals I helped lock up? Not gonna happen. But the Chief has another problem, more pressing. I’m not the only psycho still walking free today, and the city’s most notorious and sadistic killer has just escaped custody. It’s another day at the office for me though and Johnny psycho is always gonna come knocking on a cop’s door at some point after being released or escaping. I mean, I get it. I’d do the same. A favor for a favor. Lock me up, I’ll get out. And when I do, I’ll find you and cut off your face then feed it to you. But the Chief's not worried about his own safety. It’s his daughter. The one I never even knew he had. The most incredible girl I’ve ever set eyes on, knowing in an instant that I want her. That I need her. So when I see the word ‘mine’ carved into her photograph, I know our killer has got it all wrong. Clearly, she belongs to me, so it should read “Yours”. And she will be. If I can beat Psycho number two at his own game, that is. And if she won’t run a mile once she finds out why they call me Psycho Cop for all the right reasons.

Good quick read.

I think I was expecting the psycho cop to be a little more psycho. No doubt he did some bad things but he didn’t exactly come off as crazy to me.

It ended up being a nice obsessed alpha male story with some action and suspense.

Maya is the daughter of a Police Chief and lives with him. Miko works as an officer and Mayas father is his boss. Miko is called Psycho Cop by the media and that is just what the Chief needs. Miko is tasked with the safety of Maya. But he sees her and just knows she is His One. But the threat is still active. Instalove, sweet, steamy, age gap, romantic and safe (dual virgins-i love it 🥰) with a sweet HEA and a bit action 😍😍

Miko grew up in a wealthy family until his parents were killed in front of him. He grew up determined to make sure the killers paid for their crimes. The best way for him to hunt them down was to become a cop. Miko goes to all lengths to make sure that evil people who hurt the innocent pay. However he has finally crossed the fine line and failed his psych test. When he gets called into his chief's office, he figures that he is about to be fired. To his surprise, his chief shows him a picture of a beautiful young woman with the word mine carved into it. Miko immediately realizes that the woman is meant to be his even after he finds out she is his chief's daughter. A psycho killer had escaped prison and was targeting Maya, the chief's daughter. Miko is determined to keep her safe even if he has to kidnap her.

This is Book 17 of A Possessive Man. I am enjoying all the stories so far from Lena Little. This was great too. The story is about Miko who goes to extremes to get the bad and why he was dubbed the Psycho Cop. Miko is considered psychotic by the shrinks, his behavior because of past trauma but seeing a picture of Maya, he knows two things. One she is meant to be his and two he will protect her with his life. The fact that Maya's life was threatened by a man who is after her father, the chief, and wants revenge. Miko will do anything to protect her even means breaking some laws. At the end of the day, he saved her. Their connection and chemistry were off the charts and the end, their love they have for each other made total sense.

This was definitely an intense story. The MMC wasn’t quite as likable as the MCs in other stories in this series, but he did grow on me. I loved how protective he was of the FMC and that although at the beginning, he didn’t really show it, he did care about her.

The love scenes were steamy and the story was definitely action packed. I really liked the FMC, she had a good heart although at times she seemed a smidge naive, I still liked her 😊

If you dig this series, you’ll enjoy this story!

I loved Psycho Cop Book 17 of A Possessive Man. Miko is considered psychotic by the shrinks, his behavior because of past trauma but seeing a picture of Maya, he knows two things. One she is meant to be his and two he will protect her with his life. The fact that she’s been threatened will definitely bring out his psycho side. It took Maya looking at his picture in the paper and she was a goner, Miko needs to be hers. When he shows up to protect her she knows it’s right. This was a great story right from the start, Miko is an alpha male and will do anything to keep Maya safe even break the law. I loved the characters. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

Another delightful story by Lena Little from the A Possessive Man series. We get the story of Miko and Maya. Miko is actually an unguided missile, he is neither good nor bad, but a bit off the rails. Failing his mandatory psychological evaluation could mean the end of his job, but before he leaves his boss needs him for a job, which is to protect his daughter who is being threatened and harassed by someone he has locked up. And as soon as Miko sees Maya, he immediately knows she's the one and does everything he can to get and protect her, and won't let anything or anyone come between him and Maya. This is a recommended read.

Psycho Cop

Miko is a cop that doesn’t always follow the rules when comes to getting the bad guys off the streets. Unfortunately his method of justice gets him into trouble when he doesn’t pass his psych evaluation and is let go from the force.

However, the chief needs help protecting his daughter from a dangerous criminal. When Miko sees a picture of Maya, he knows that she’s meant to be his and he’ll stop at nothing to keep her safe.

Great steamy romance with an over the top alpha male. Definitely a good addition to the series.

Better to have our hero on your side because you really won't like it if he is not. That works out just fine for our heroine.

This is book seventeen of the series, but it is written as a standalone. No prior reading is required.

This is an OTT alpha male romance. The story is well written and easy to read with a small but interesting cast of characters. Our hero and heroine have excellent chemistry and things get interesting really quickly. We get a bit of action and intrigue as well as steam all leading to an HEA. Overall, a great evening read.

Highly recommended.

Miko has always skirted the law and done what needed to be done to get the bad guys off the street. The problem he did not pass his last psych evaluation but before he is let go, his boss has need of his services. His daughter has been threatened by a guy he put away, he need Miko to keep her safe. Miko takes on look at the chief's daughter knows that she is his and nothing will stop him.

As like others in the series, this is an alpha male minding his own business until she comes into view.

This was a fun read that really was different than I was expecting. Miko was beyond OTT for Maya, the police chief's daughter. Sent to watch over her, he decides to 'kidnap' her to keep her truly safe and work on wooing her ;P Maya didn't really need to be wooed, though, as she was just as OTT for him. With a serial killer on the loose and her father not too into the psycho cop as her man, things were really quite suspenseful...and steamy. I loved their HEA and the epilogues. Gave me all the feels :D

Lena Little delivers another fantastic short story

I absolutely had a blast reading Miko & Maya's story. They call him a psycho cop who's just failed his psych eval & is now suspended but his Police Chief needs him for one more job. The Police Chief's daughter has been threatened by an escaped psycho & the Chief wants Miko to protect his daughter. The attraction is off the charts. Will they catch the killer before it's too late?.

This is another wonderful story. I really loved the storyline, there is action, danger, sweetness, heat, passion, and love. I loved Miko who knows that he is going to not only protect Maya but to claim her for himself. Miko might be labeled as the psycho cop but when you need the job done who does the chief call, Molotov, that's who.

quick read meh

Cop known for being crazy is being let go. The same day a killer is let go from prison and puts a hit on the police chief daughter. Crazy cop goes to rescue daughter and they flee to his condo. They fall in love and get engaged the same day. Meh
