Charity Wylde has always been… well… wild. The devil to her staid twin sister’s angel, their parents had despaired of her ever making a suitable match. In truth, so had she. Too loud. Too raucous. Too quick to draw attention to herself. And that is precisely what gets Charity into trouble.
Attending a ball with her aunt, she draws the eye of a notorious gentleman. A seducer, a rogue, a ne’er do well—Lord Jameson Dartwell is avoided by almost every woman in society except those naive enough not to know better. And sweet, trusting, high spirited Charity fits that category nicely.
There’s only one problem. His well behaved older brother, Lord Fredrick Dartwell, Viscount Wellbeigh, saw her first. He doesn’t wish to seduce Charity, but to possess her. To make her his, body and soul. If that means he has to play his brother’s game and seduce her first, that’s the kind of sacrifice he’s both willing and eager to make. But unlike his brother, he has no intention of discarding her when he’s done.
Once Charity is his, she’ll be his forever… and he will be hers.

I know you see in my reviews a lot, that this is a favorite author but having read thousands and thousands of books and hundreds and hundreds of different authors I don't really have that many authors that I consider favorites. Chasity Bowlin is one of those favorites. This is my 42nd book by her. I have been reading her books since mid-2017. I have really enjoyed this series.
I loved Charity and Frederick. Such a cute couple. I love that true love prevails. I loved that even though they had terrible families they had each other and to hell with anyone else. I really enjoyed it.
I've just re-read the first two stories and decided to finally read this one, and I'm so glad I did.
She is what they call loud, obnoxious, too opinionated, and too plump to be loved by anyone however she catches the eye of Fredrick at first sight. And it took one dance for him to determine that she's everything he is everything and so much more that he is looking for.
With his determined brother trying to keep them apart by being callous and dangerous they still manage to find happiness and love in each other..
The angst, mystery, the love and the happily ever after in this story is 🔥🔥❤❤
And the other thing I loved about this story was that the heroine Charity is plump,
its one thing I do love about Chasity's books she has diversity of characters..
Chasity Bowlin gives us an endearing tale of love at first sight by two people who have to fight their own families, inner conflicts due to emotional abuse of not being good enough, to overcoming the stigma of a family's history that follows some. Further, high stakes are involved by the rowdy gambling drunken element who decides he has been slighted & pushes a more weak minded into a bet then pushes on from the bet to bodily harm. Indeed, A family member Fredrick had been concerned about. Fredrick and.Charity a beautiful couple who have obstacles thrown in their way even with the first home visit.
Though worried it might be best because he could be making Charity a target to be hurt, Fredrick felt love & a need to be with her carrying him forward. Likewise with Charity, she could not ever see herself with.anyone else & thought to break off herself if she was the reason the harm & anger was coming Fredrick's way.
This is Book 3 of the Series: The Ayles Wallflowers and has a great BLURB. The characters are great & some we have met from previous books. It is an interesting storyline of sisters & cousins who go to their Aunt's house in London for the season to be presented there to the society to acquire husbands. This is an exciting series & book. Loads of drama, fast paced, & even attempted murder several times. I do think Charity & Fredrick are fated lovers.
I didn’t really expect a whole lot because I didn’t like Charity from the first book I’m the series. However, I do think she was redeemed for me in this book. I did like Frederick more than her though. I particularly enjoyed his budding friendship with Randford. I felt more of their bond than I did for the twins. It’s implied that they are so close along with their cousins, but I don’t feel like that was explored at all. Also, the book descriptions give a different impression of the Wylde wallflowers than what the book does. It is very contradictory. One minute they are strong and settled in life and the next minute they lack any confidence and self esteem. Again, I feel like there is a recurring theme in these books. It is the Wylde Wallflower series but the male characters seem more favorable, and the continued assault and derogatory treatment of the women is not pleasing at all. I would expect different if it is supposed to be about these special women. The recurrence of the evil person that blames everyone else for their own misery and decides to make everyone else suffer just seems out of place for what should just be a sweet story of love for an overlooked beauty.
Whew if ever a couple deserves a HEA is Charity and Frederick! They shared one dance together and evil forces yes evil kept them apart and even Charity aunt Marguerite bump heads and are suspicious of Lord Frederick Whelby behavior! Charity is reeling at being literally a bone of contention between brothers and the gossip and potentiometer scandal it would cause! This one to me deserves 5 stars as it entails scandal after scandal! Charity has always been very insecure about herself! She sees herself as plump and not as beautiful as her twin! Frederick takes one look at her and all bets are off! There is Jameson who is evil incarnate and makes plans against Charity and Fredrick all in the name of revenge! It makes a very emotional story for the things a person would go to for greed! Just when these two get to the altar there is another scandal!!! If there is to be a HEA they have to involve the whole Wylde family in the path to true love!!! Bravo excellent job!
I love Chasity Bowlin’s writing and this third book in The Wylde Wallflower series is a great example of her hot but sweet romantic tales. Even though there is danger and violence in this story, the overall feel of the book is charming. I especially appreciate that Chasity Bowlin’s heroines are individuals who often act and look differently than the cookie-cutter norm of the ton. Charity is a wonderful character who is smart, bold, above average in size and who meets her perfect mate on the dance floor. Fredrick believes in love at first sight but will he and Charity ever have a happily ever after when they have to contend with their families? The villains in this tale are very evil so will love prevail? I loved this captivating tale and I hope that the next book in the series gives us some updates on this endearing couple.
I loved Charity and Fredericks story. She was the Wylde Wallflower who has been told over and over again that’s she to loud, to heavy and can’t keep her mouth shut. He’s an honesty man who’s lived a straight path trying to reel in his drinking, gambling wild brother. But when these two meet for the first time it was love at first sight. But not only his brother but a man she snubbed will try anything to keep them apart even murder and kidnapping. A wonderful story with a perfect ending.
Love to find a series I can enjoy! Charity’s story just proved there’s someone for everybody and self-confidence can do a lot! Really liked Frederick, the only decent one in his family! Charity has a terrible self-image because of her horrible parents but her strength and her sisters lets her win the day and end up with a title higher than her mother or her sisters, thus far. Only drawback were the numerous missing words that made me interpret what the author meant to say
I enjoyed this book Charity and Frederick. He falls for her when he first sees her. She feels here is someone I could love, however jealous and vindictive forces are at work in an attempt to ruin Charity. Read this to see if live prevails. Chasity is one of my very favourite authors and one of the first romance authors I read from The Haunting of a Duke to the present series
I enjoy Chasity Bowlin's stories and characters, but sadly, this one has too many mistakes to ignore. Words are left out, misspelled, and just plain wrong, interrupting an otherwise enjoyable narrative flow. Hopefully, her good writing will be more carefully tended next time.
This was a quick cute read for a weekday afternoon. The trials that Frederick and Charity experienced were extreme caused by his brother and the friend that ruled his jealous and childish bother. Finally were they vanquished both by their own hand? Only by reading this book you will find out. Enjoy
To Wyld to Tame, the third book in the Wyld Wallflowers series by Chasity Bowlin is a nice read. It’s not my favorite of the series but it is nice to check in with the other sisters who have already found their matches and to see Charity well settled with a spectacular Viscount.
There are multiple villains. Sibling rivalry to the extreme. The story is intense and the love relationship is instant but sabotaged. The heroine is smart and not a simpering miss. She lacks confidence. The hero is smart and sound.the story stays moving right up to the end.
Another one of these I-looked-at-her-across-the-room-and-knew-she-was-the-one books, little plot, minimal interaction between the hero and heroine before they fall for each other. Not worth the price.
What a great story. I could not put it down. I read it cover to cover. Suspense , drama, and the bad guy does not win. I love that the heroine can see through the bs.
I enjoyed the book. It had romance and mystery. The characters , most of them were sweet. Hopefully the brother and his friend learned a valuable lesson.
A good book in a good series! One thing I did not like was how the villain got things easy. He did all of the bad things and as a "punishment," he got to be a manager of the plantation in a warm climate, surely abusing many people who were under his command! I would say noose, death of syphilis ar at least wound infection!
