The multi-author series, Immortal Vices and Virtues is still going strong. Lexi Foss is up next with Crave Me, the fourth book in the series. I had the time of my life reading this book, and I cannot tell you how utterly enamored I am with this book. The story is character-focused and I loved Nyx and Vesperus.

Goddess of Night, Mistress of the Moon. Nyx, who is an actual goddess, isn't what I expected but who I was pleasantly surprised by. Nyx is an explorer, searching the realms for a new purpose and a place to call home. She examines everything with childlike wonder. For someone who revels in the night, she's very bright and cheery, dancing and singing all the time. Nyx is a kind soul, passive and compassionate, and just wants to live a happy life on the flip side of that she's also could be extremely deadly when provoked. The goddess is strait forward, truthful, and patient not to mention highly intelligent. Plus she's a hoot, very quirky. I like her.

Vesperus Veritas is the King of Gold and Garnet and Nyx's fated mate. I didn't know what to expect from a king of mercenaries and assassins but Vesperus is a great king. The man cares for his people so much that he's willing to put them first. He's hard-working but has a sense of humor (a little dry) and a hint of playfulness with a very select few. Vesperus is confident and sex as heck and he's highly intelligent. He and Nyx make quite the pair, there was an instant and genuine attraction that only grows more intense as the story goes on. They're very compatible in personalities, they were more than comfortable from the get-go, overall they fit each other very well.

This book is filled with some great characters, both old and new. Kaspian, Ves's second and one scary dude but loyal, Cara seems like a sweet fae but is deadly and has a sense of humor, and Keiran from Haunt Me has his parts as well. The plot for this book was different, first, the wonderful moon magic that Nyx has is fascinating. Her whole view on everything is from realities to realms, all of it is a fresh take. The madness that followed Nyx everywhere was absolute drama, no wonder considering who Nyx's father is. Add in an intense bond, political minefields, explosions, and mystery, which included a crazy reveal. All this equals a crazy, exciting read, the characters a just the icing on top.

Crave Me is a great addition to the Immortal Vices and Virtues series. I loved seeing Nyx and Vesperus come together, learning and appreciating each other while taking on whatever comes their way. I have to say the ending surprised me, I didn't expect it to turn out the way it did but at least they got their forever. As it turns out Crave Me is the origin story of Lexi's Blood Alliance series, a series I always meant to checkout and now I most definitely will.

My Review

This is a prequel to the fabulous blood alliance series it shows you the origins of that world and how it all came to be but is also completely unrelated so can totally be read as a stand-alone. It involves Nyx goddess of night and the moon and her fated mate king Vesperus of the house of Death and Diamond. When Nyx appears in Vesperus’s reality she’s looking for a home she’s also in pursuit of her magical medallion which has a mind of its own and currently proving elusive. Nyx’s intense power firmly puts a target on her head and Vesperus is the one in charge of collecting this bounty but when they meet both recognise their future in one another and plans change.

Initially fighting the binds that tie Vesperus knows that Nyx will not be accepted to rule alongside him her powerful presence inciting potential war from the other houses so he attempts to find a solution whilst his head and heart are constantly at war with one another. But when events push them together all bets are off and with an unknown enemy targeting Nyx things eventually come to a head the aftermath paving the way for the blood alliance world that’s to come.

This was an enjoyable imaginative read though it’s not a dark one. It’s a fantasy-type setting dealing with various realities and includes magic goddesses vampires and shifters. The chemistry between Nyx and Vesperus was good and their interactions together were intense. I could definitely feel their fated bond and the emotional growth from both sides. I liked how this was resolved and I appreciated having an insight into how it all came to be. As usual, this was well-written and an engrossing experience. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Crave me (Immortal Vices and Virtues, #4).

In the fourth book in the Immortal Viced and Virtues series, this one written by Lexi C. Foss, we have Nyx the goddess of the moon who travels to this book's universe, where she finds herself the fated mate to the King of the Vampires. She doesn't really know how to function as a mortal, and chaos ensues as she tries to figure out these complicated feeling growing inside of her. Could that feeling be... love? Unheard of! This was a fun addition to this multi-author series I am enjoying reading. Solid 3.5 Stars.

Crave Me is the fourth book in the Immortal Vices and Virtues World.

Lexi C. Foss quickly became a favorite author of mine after reading Midnight Fae Academy and she just continues to write these amazing spicy books, with great couples and an even better storyline.

Crave Me is about Nyx and Vesperus and I loved their story! It was another masterpiece written by Lexi.

Oh and did you know this book has fated mates?!

And since I know it's important to a lot of you, the book has a HEA!

Can we also talk about that gorgeous cover? 😍

I love this continuation of the Immortal Vices and Virtues collection. This is the first book I have read by Lexi C. Foss and I got to say I can't wait to read more. The connection between Vesperus and Nyx is strongly intense even when they try to deny what the both want. Fate has more in store for them. Loved the twisted and turns this book held. Now off to read more from this author.

Pretty good entry to the series. The villain and their capture were kind of thrown in at the end. And I dislike that this is the origin story for the world of the author’s other series. Do Nyx and Vesperus show up in that other series? It doesn’t look like it, which makes it less impactful and connected. It’s like a prequel with zero ties to the subsequent series.

The world is getting bigger, but it's too small for these two: Nyx and Vesperus.

I totally thought Vesperus was a jerk, but now that I've read this book, he was looking out for his kingdom, his people. Isn't that what all good leaders should do? But add the Moon Goddess, Nyx, and things go sideways. I can't wait to see what happens with Gold and Garnet in the future.

Nyx is the best!!

I absolutely loved the inner dialogue of all the characters in this one, but especially Nyx. Her thoughts brought humor, innocence, and emotion to the story. The entire thing was so well written and enticing from the very beginning. Definitely looking forward to checking out more by this author!

Crave me was different than I expected after reading the other books in the series. You still get some very 🔥scenes we have come to love with this series but since the MC is A goddess the mating has to be approached differently. There was a few things I would have liked to have read in the story ( no spoilers here ) but it was still an entertaining story. There was parts that was a total page turner too! I am really curious how this effects future books in this series!!

I think this is my least favorite one. Maybe? Nothing is more annoying than characters having to uproot their entire lives because people won’t accept them and their powers 🙄

I love this world and it made me sad that Vesperus had to leave all of his friends. Also… for being like 1500 years old and spending hundreds of years with these people and he’s just fine with never seeing them again? Bleh. Happy that Kaspian is king tho. I think he will get his own book soon. Also the lack of council meetings was odd? I would of liked to have seen them be like “fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, you’re cool, we out” ✌🏻 at least Nyx didn’t loose any of her powers. So there’s that.

I also didn’t enjoy the plot of “no one will accept her she’s too powerful” that seemed to be the plot for the majority of the book until she gets shot and then it got interesting.

Still a decent read and I look forward to the next one! I need Adora’s book. She is amazing.

I’m the Goddess of Night. The Mistress of the Moon. A queen who will not bow.

I did not know what to expect when I opened this one but...wow. I was completely enthralled the entire book. The writing was great. The story building was balanced and perfectly detailed if not a little heavy handed in the first half of the story. But that was to be expected being a standalone within a series.

All in all I enjoyed the hell out of this. I loved the scenery that was described. It created vivid imagery while reading that made it that much more enjoyable.

But what I especially loved was the FMC Nyx and the MMC Vesperus. Those two was 🔥 together and quite literally a perfect match for the other.

Nyx was absolutely badass in her strength, confidence and power. She was a goddess and she owned that. I adored her and how she saw the world. I loved the gratitude and respect she had for the moon and the power she held over it. She was just extremely lovely.

Vesperus was maybe a little more refined and softer than I expected from a vampire of such strength and power. But I wasn't disappointed at all. I loved how contained and proper he seemed in comparison to Nyx and her free spirited type of style and way of living. I liked how much he was willing to sacrifice for his people even at the cost to himself. He was a great King. I also adored his friendship with Kaspian.

But more than anything I loved him with Nyx. Their chemistry and bond was delicious and fun to watch unravel as the story progressed. They were opposites in many ways but they balanced one another out because of their differences. Most of all I loved how both were willing to fight like hell for the other. 😊

Awesome read. Can't wait to check out the rest of the series.

Yes yes yes! Another book set in what is quickly becoming one of my favourite worlds!

Worldbuilding:
This time we're guests at Gold and Garnet, and yes, they are pretty trigger-happy people, to be honest, but they are known as assassins and bounty hunters, after all.
I loved that we had Kieran in there a few times (from the previous instalment - Haunt Me). The story continued very nicely from the events in that book.
I love the world these authors have created with all the different Houses. That said, I would like to see a map of where all the territories are, as they spoke of Gold and Garnet having pieces of Europe and Blood and Beryl being in the USA. For some reason, I had never thought of those distances before.

Character development:
Nyx, Goddess of Night, Mistress of the Moon. She is soooo awesome! I loved her from the start.
She's on a whole other power level than the monarchs, but she doesn't misuse her power, not even when everyone is trying to kill her instead of, you know... talk to her.
While she is as old as time, Nyx still has something akin to childlike wonder for things she discovers. She is also a very sensual woman, which is a perfect fit for Vesperus.
Our King of Gold and Garnet never thought he needed a fated mate or a mate at all. He has one priority, and that is taking care of his people.
I like that both keep their heads straight even through the mate bond. They are rational (well, most of the time) and consider everything.

Pacing and flow:
I really liked the pacing and flow in this instalment. It was smooth sailing from start to finish. That said, it didn't quite manage to seduce me and have me stay up and read through the night. Then again, that isn't a bad thing, as my boss will want me to point out ;)

The book:
The book is well written, with no (noticeable) errors. There is sexual content described (if that is important to you. I would rate it 🌶️🌶️🌶️ out of 5.
It has 317 pages, spread over 32 chapters and told from Nyx's and Vesperus's points of view.

Final thoughts:
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book, and all in all, another very worthwhile book set in an amazing world. I haven't read any of the Blood Alliance books, but they are now in my (giant) TBR pile, and I'm curious how they will be portrayed there.

I really enjoyed this installment of the Immortal Vices and Virtues shared world. I had listened to one of the spinoff and remembering them talking about characters that are main stays in this story and wanting to know what happened. I liked Nyx a lot and her BA-ery made for a compelling storyline. She didnt take cr@p from anyone and her snark and resulting humor was great, I didnt expect it from this story based on the blurb. The way she let Vesperus in a little at a time made for a good relationship building and storyline. I wanted to see how the two could come together and help save each other/their people.

I liked the mystery and intrigue of this book. The author does a good job stringing you along and making you think one thing and then they pull the rug out of from under you and your mind is racing trying to figure out what is going on. I liked the twist with someone in Vesperus' group being not so good haha and thats all I will say! I liked her powers, how she wielded it and talked to it and let it do what it wanted hahaha. The things she could do were so fun! I thought the thing that happened in the shop was fantastic haha. She has been one of my favorites characters of the shared world so far!

Vesperus was interesting and conflicted with how he was supposed to treat Nyx. Like she is a goddess, good luck keeping her contained or punishing her haha. I liked some of the side characters and enjoyed their interaction with him and helping to save the kingdom from some evil plans. Someone doesnt like how he has run things and all heck breaks loose! The tension between Nyx and him is fabulous and though I wish I had more sexy times, it was done well and had a lot of tension and spice thrown in throughout the story.

Narration was good in this one, this author tends to use them a lot and pretty much why change a good thing if it is working. I thought these two felt like they had chemistry with their portrayals and did a good job with all the inflections and changes in scenery, a lot of different interactions, various snafu's from Nyx just appearing and doing that she wanted haha. Great job on this one, I thought I wouldn't like the M/F stories as much as the RH ones but this one proved me wrong!

THIS WAS F**KING SENSUAL AND SO GODDAMNED SEXY! 😘😘 I did a double take by how Lexi C Foss created a couple whose attraction and sensuality leaped right off the pages and made me feel like a blushing third wheel.

I ABSOLUTELY ADORED NYX!! I loved how carefree, powerful, sexy yet innocently childlike her character was....true to what she represented - The Goddess of Night/Moon. The beginning confused me a little but, later I understood that Nyx created a sentient medallion that helped her time travel across realms to FIND A NEW HOME. Uncertain why her medallion hid from her and insisted they stayed in this realm where she encounters her fated mate, Vesperus...well, she's intrigued enough to stay and see how it plays out. Her attraction with Vesperus was....mmmmm....it was decadence and sin oozing out like hot chocolate on a sundae.🍨🍨 Oh, and her powers were pretty fucking cool.

NYX and VESPERUS were mature and confident about how they wanted their relationship to be. I respected that about them. They weren't kids or teenagers playing at love. They weighed out the pros and cons of being fated mates, and while they weren't FOR IT, they were open-minded enough to NOT FIGHT IT, because they felt more than just attraction. THEY COMMUNICATED, often.

Nyx and Vesperus just FELT RIGHT from the beginning, and I was more than happy to devour every second of their love story.

VESPERUS himself was the King of Gold and Garnet...mehhh I didn't find that title attractive at all. I preferred the title Nyx bestowed upon him later- the King of Night. Anyways, Ves was an exemplary ruler who was buried in paperwork and meetings all the time. Meeting Nyx was probably the best gift the universe ever granted him. What I loved best about him? Ves puts others before himself, and I loved how he spoiled Nyx, not to mention the man has WONDERFUL grooming/housekeeping habits. A keeper, indeed!

OVERALL I loved it. The story just sucked me in, and I couldn't put it down. If you enjoy blood-suckers, fated mates and the us-against-the world couple troupes, then this book is your pot of gold. 🍯

This is my first read by this author but I've loved the Immortal Vices and Virtues books that I've read so far.

Crave Me follows Nyx Goddess of night and Vesperus King of Gold and Garnet.

Nyx being a Goddess has immense power she is not a normal being like supernaturals, with her medallion she is able to pass through different realms but her medallion is like another being in itself and when she lands in what was once the normal world now divided into house her medallion abandons her leaving her trapped until she finds it again. Her arrival shifted the balance of power which was felt amongst all the houses. It is illegal to come into this realm without permission something which Nyx isn't aware of nor is she aware of the bounty placed on her head because.
House of Gold and Garnet took up the bounty because they are known for their mercenaries but when some of them are killed Vesperus the King steps in to aid the search for the being with such power. What Vesperus didn't count on was finding a goddess or that she would be his fated mate... something neither quite understood as she was a goddess they didn't have mates and he was a vampire. But perhaps that had been her medallions intention all along to find a being that could match the goddesses power a worthy equal.. something Vesperus definitely was. They realize that their ties with each other go far beyond the fated mate bond and that there is ultimately no escaping their bond except through death. When part of Gold and Garnet split forming another house Diamond and Death the two houses worked together to ensure their people had a choice in which house they chose to go with but it seems not everyone was happy with the decision and when people from his own house betray the king they'll have to untangle a web of lies to figure out the truth in time to save Gold and Garnet from ruin but will Vesperus be willing to go as far as giving up his seat as king to stay at his goddesses side or will he reject their bond in favor of his people.

Definitely Recommend Reading 📚

Crave Me is a dark standalone paranormal romance set in the Immortal Vices and Virtues Universe. and I absolutely LOVE it. Now I've been taking a break from Lexi for the past while, as much as I loved her Immortals Curse series, her more recent books, while good, just wasn't what I was looking for recently - a little too dark for this Reading Ninja. This is why I consider myself exceptionally lucky to have been treated to this amazing world she's now creating... And to the magnificent moon goddess Nyx.

Nyx is everything you want in a goddess, she's sassy, she's sexy, she's pissed off that people keep trying to kill her... Oh, and she glows golden with stardust. Nyx is exploring realms trying to find a place to call home when she's intoxicated and enamoured with a world full of magic and unfortunately, beings who, although being no stranger to other powers, go with the kill first ask questions later form of welcome. What's a goddess to do when she knows she's more likely to kill them than the other way around?

Why stumble across her fated mate of course. While her world has never conceived of a fated mate, this world and this king certainly does. And she wants nothing more than to bite him. Good thing he's a vampire and although, reluctant at first, he's not above a nibble on her goddess essence, amongst other things, when the time is right.

Though, it seems not everyone is as enamoured with the tasty goddess as her king is. With mysterious assassination attempts, political maneuvering from all sides and dark magic afoot, it'll take more than even this goddess's stardust to overcome the obstacles in their path. It'll take the very moon and risk destroying an entire world in the process. But girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do to ensure her mates safety.

This book has brought back my love of the worlds that Lexi creates and she's got me hooked again on her words. I can't wait to read more in this series. Come join me in exploring the lives of the Lexi C Foss Immortals Vices & Virtues.

A Sensual, Fated Romance that Changes the World

Lexi Foss is a new-to-me author and Crave Me serves as a fantastic introduction. The story is definitely romance-forward, but the plot does not suffer for it. It was a quick read for me, but that was because I was fully engaged in everything that happened and liked the pacing. This book is set in a shared-universe of interconnected standalones, and is not the first book, so the author took a unique approach to world and character building that allows new readers to start here, and I really appreciate that.

The main female character, Nyx, is new to this world, and you can learn things as she does. Her fated mate, Vesperus, King of Gold & Garnet, has previously made multiple appearances in this universe. So, his story adds color and growth for those of us who have read the previous books. I would still recommend reading all the other books, as it makes for a more complete experience and adds background and familiarity for the world and characters. However, it is not required for this standalone.

🌟Length: Novel

🌟Genre: Paranormal romance –vampires, gods/goddesses, death magic, etc.

🌟POV: First person, dual – male and female main characters

🌟Age: Adult

🌟Warnings: Language, violence, and sexual content (blood & breath play)

🌟Spice: Sensual and hot, there is heat written on the page and the characters are very honest in describing their desires

🌟Violence: Moderate, not overly descriptive, mostly action-focused but there is also mention of spousal/mate abuse

🌟Editing: Well edited, I was so engaged in the story that I did not notice any issues

🌟World: Post-supernatural-apocalypse Earth – mostly Ireland & Iceland

🌟Series: Immortal Vices and Virtues (interconnected standalones in a shared universe); a background/prequel leading into the author’s Blood Alliance series

🌟Tropes: Fated mates, insta-lust, unique character, star-crossed/forbidden love

🌟Ending: It’s a standalone, no cliffhangers

🌟Recommend? Yes!

I look forward to reading more from this talented writer!

Original review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Lexi C. Foss!

Crave Me is the fourth standalone book in the Immortal Vices and Virtues world and tells the story of Nyx and Vesperus.

As you may all know by now, I’m a big Fantasy Romance fan and the Immortal Vices and Virtues series is therefore perfect for me. I get to read amazing stories and get to know new authors. Crave Me is the fourth standalone book in the series and is written by a new to me author. I’ve never read any of Lexi C. Foss’ books, but I’m really excited to read more of her work. I think that the Blood Alliance series is definitely something for me!

Crave Me tells the story of a goddess called Nyx and a vampire called Vesperus. I loved their immediate connection and that they were ‘it’ for each other. It was cute that they tried to fight their mate bond. I really enjoyed this story because when you read about goddesses you usually read about them falling in love with humans and sacrificing everything for their human, but this story was totally different. I really liked that Lexi C. Foss created this interesting world, it made me fall in love with the characters.

Crave Me was such a good Fantasy Romance, and I’m a big fan of the cover of this book. So far, I think it’s my favourite one in the series. The Immortal Vices and Virtues series is such an amazing series and after finishing one book, I’m always looking forward to the next book in the series. I really enjoyed reading Crave Me, and I’m definitely going to read more of Lexi C. Foss’ books! I highly recommend the Immortal Virtues and Vices series, and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series, Expose Me by Kaydence Snow.

This is about Vesperus (the other vampire king) and Nyx.
Nyx is a goddess who entered their world illegally. She had been exploring different times, worlds, and realms looking for something more when she ended up in their world and found him. She was blamed for killing someone and an explosion but all she really do is cause disruptions with her magic. This disruption is was led to the stuff that happened with the Moonlight Wraith in book 2 - what caused his power to act out. She was not accepted by any of the houses except Gold and Garnet which granted her clemency, but eventually she was forced to leave their world.

I absolutely LOVED the part when he danced with her at the restaurant. That made me swooon <3
It helps to know that he was never like that with anyone else, just her. :)
Their breaking of the bond though had me upset. It was just wrong. I was so worried that it would ruin things between them and they wouldn't be able to get it back. But it was a great story!
I loved the way it was told and the writing was amazing

I loved Nyx's character. She was so childlike and free. She never tried to hurt anyone even though they all attacked her on site. Well, until they took him from her. then she attacked like a badass.
I am glad they were okay with being forced to leave. I was upset about that, but the characters get a whole new beginning - and the author seems to continue this in her series, at least that's what I think. IDK I will be reading it soon though. The blood alliance series I believe its called.

Ves is an amazing ruler and he proved that so many times through out the book, but especially when it came time for him to step down and leave. He accepted everything and was glad it would go on without him.

ugh! I hope to read more about them either in this series or the author's other series because I loved them

Crave Me: Immortal Vices and Virtues
Lexi C Foss

“Once upon a time, a series of portals opened on Earth, allowing magic to spill into the human world.
Houses were created. Supernaturals were assigned. And a new balance was formed.
All new arrivals are required to join a House.
But this is the tale of a goddess who refused and the House King who brought her to heel.

Nyx.
Goddess of Night.
My newest obsession.

The daring female killed one of my men.
Which made it my job as the Gold and Garnet House King to make her pay.”

This is Nyx and Vesperus’ story!

Thank you to the author for the ARC & the lovely ladies in the Facebook group doing the admin - massive respect!

Can we take a minute to appreciate the covers for this series! Another beaut, loving the cover art!

Nyx - the Greek “night”
Vesperus - the Latin “evening” or “æfen-sang” in old English.
Twin souls? I really hope so!

“I want more than to just exist in the background of a world. I want a true purpose, whatever that may mean.” - this really resonates with me.

The smexual tension - oooft - I’m getting all hot and bothered!

Okay I made a deal with myself to read to 50% and then go to sleep… I’ve just finished this in one sitting, well lying as I stupidly came to bed and started reading.

I could not put this book down it was amazing.

I loved Vesperus and Nyx, their dynamic was intoxicating and refreshing as they were equals.

The plot line was thoroughly gripping and made for compulsive reading the added mystery enveloped my brain and demanded that I find out who was behind it all.

Absolutely fantastic read.

Crave Me by Lexi C. Foss is the fourth book released in the Immortal Vices and Virtues Universe. This is a spicy paranormal romance novel filled with strong, sassy and sometimes quirky characters.

The Immortal Vices and Virtues novels are standalone books, written by different authors, but they occur in the same universe. I highly recommend reading these books as a series, and in order, so that you understand some of the backstory.

Crave Me tells the story of Nyx, Goddess of Night, who's been following the whim of an enchanted medallion, going from universe to universe, searching for fulfillment. Realm, after realm, after realm. But none of them were intriguing enough to make her want to stay. That is, until her medallion decided to leave her stranded in a world filled with supernaturals.

Vesperus, vampire King of the House of Gold and Garnet, tasked his merceneries with finding and apprehending the powerful rogue supernatural who turned up on Earth; the rogue who needed to learn that in this world, each and every supernatural was required to pledge themselves to a House, to kneel for their monarch. But, when the fated-mate bond slams into place, all his plans are turned upside down.

I really enjoyed this somewhat dark, spicy paranormal romance told from the POV of both Nyx and Vesperus. It was funny, sexy, and there were definatley times I was suprised by what was happening.

Looking for your next escape? Crave Me awaits!

☆ I received an ARC of this book from the publisher, which in no way sways my honest opinion, as stated in this review ☆

What I like most about this series is that it always has me guessing. Trying to figure out what this book is about, how it plays into the series, and what characters could possibly be next. I also love that it introduces new authors to me and gives me a glimpse into writing styles!

While this one is not my favorite in the series it was still enjoyable. From the writing style, to the characters, to the mentions of those already written about. The meshing of the world but also the clear divide of it too is pretty awesome because clearly you can see it but doesn’t take away from the story.

Nyx is a Goddess and with that title and power comes an arrogance. I typically hate it but Nyx isn’t one to shove it in your face. She is open and welcoming (to a point) and willing to see and understand all sides of the people living in this world.

Vesperus is very much about his people and how he can help them thrive. He hasn’t thought much about his own wants and needs until Nyx plows into his life. Their understanding of each other and their chemistry flows so nicely that their train of thought and what comes of it just feels natural.

This book focuses very much on them, their bond, their future with each other, and a little bit about the other houses. I wish it would have had more conflict than it did but it only opened a whole other story that I’m hoping we get!

🌻 Main Characters - Vesperus & Nyx
🌻 Fated Mates
🌻 No cheating
🌻 Happy Ending
🌻 Trigger Warning ⚠️ : Erotic scenes (MF), Violence, and Murder
🌻 Spice: 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶
🌻 Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5

Nyx is the Goddess of Night and Mistress of the Moon. She had been exploring universes, realms, and even timelines, but she got stuck on Earth because her medallion threw tantrums and hid from her. (That poor medallion really needed its own vacation. 😂) She met Vesperus, the Vampire King of the House of Gold and Garnet, after the pub she was in exploded. She was immediately attracted to him and she didn't know why, but Vesperus did — he already knew they were fated mates.

The House leaders tasked Vesperus to hunt down Nyx because her powers destabilized the world, especially the moon and ocean tides. Some leaders wanted Nyx to die, but Vesperus refused to kill her. There were a lot of threats in Nyx's life, and the same was true for Vesperus. Therefore, they decided to leave instead, and explore the realms and timelines together.

I love reading Nyx's POVs. She is so adorable and kinda naive, but she knows her worth and is a badass goddess. I didn't expect Vesperus to leave his House for her, but I understand why and I'm glad he did.

Craving more

Lexi has given us book four in the Immotal Vices and Virtues universe and she didn't disappoint!
Nyx is the daughter of Chaos from Greek mythology, she is the Goddess of Night. I love me some Greek mythology!
She has a magic medallion that has transported her all across different realms and realities until she lands in the one with Vesperus illegally! Then it vanishes leaving her trapped and defending herself against all who come across her, you know, shoot first question later type of world.
Vesperus is the vampire king of Gold and Garnet. He's the type that has been around for 1500 years or so! He's also been tasked with locating the unidentified being who entered their world illegally!
Well Nyx finds herself entranced by this magic that leads her right to Vesperus! He's the first who doesn't try to kill her right away!

There's also this juicy line - *Besides, they had an imposter calling himself Odin. As I knew the real Odin, I didn’t have much of a desire to meet the fake version.*
So I hope we get a story about the real Odin claiming his house in an upcoming story!

Crave Me, the fourth book in the Immortal Vices and Virtues series by Lexi C. Foss is a dark paranormal romance that’s set in the Immortal Vices and Virtues Universe but can be read as a stand-alone and I highly recommend reading it if you’re a fan of the Blood Alliance series as this is the story of the goddess Nyx and Vesperus, her vampire lover—and a definite must read!!!

This is the story of Nyx, our fearless FMC and her fated mate, Vesperus who is the King of Gold & Garnet and who you’ve met before if you’re a fan of this universe. Nyx is a fabulous heroine that pulls you right in with her playful curiosity and joy for life and was not what I expected! And i absolutely loves the chemistry between here and Ves and how he was instantly ensnared with her.

Their story was a quick fun read that had an intriguing plot and I loved seeing where and how it all started. Foss never ceases to amaze me with her ability to build a dynamic world and fierce characters, and this one was no exception! Overall this was a fun action packed spicy dystopian tile paranormal romance featuring sexy goddesses and vampires and lord of steamy goodness!
