Days Of The Apocalypse #3

Days of Trial and Tribulation

Rate this book
Mark E. Fisher’s bestselling series of Christian end-times thrillers continues with book #3 and more seat-gripping suspense. . . .
In New Babylon, as Chelsea fears to take the mark of the beast, her father warns she must embrace the city’s hedonistic atmosphere or face the consequences.
In Minnesota, a raging fire, fed by the Two Witnesses’ drought, threatens the life Caleb and Tanya have made for themselves in the Northwoods.
In Marseille, after fleeing the farm, Dylan and the Nazarene Friends are on the run from Truth Squads while Dylan despairs that René will ever begin the search for Margot.
In the German death camp, Margot works deep in the mines. But if her barracks doesn’t make its quota of ore—the guillotines await.
And in Jerusalem, the Antichrist consolidates his grip on the world and prepares to place the abomination of desolation in the Temple.
The world reels as the Tribulation midpoint approaches. With it comes the terrors of the first four trumpet judgments—Volcanic eruptions. Asteroids. Poisoned waters. And darkened skies.

Mark wrote his first twelve pages at the age of ten, complete with drawings of a prairie fire, Indians, and a stampede. More recently he’s authored books of epic fantasy and historical fiction for the Christian and the general market. Mark E. Fisher’s eighth novel begins a series of Christian end-times thrillers based on the book of Revelation.

At various times, he has welded rails for the railroad, inspected glass in a glass factory, given checks to welfare clients, and programmed micro-code for IBM. He has helped plant a church and is active in Christian missions. He and his wife enjoy traveling with recent visits to Japan, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Ireland, France, Italy, and Switzerland. Sometimes, on his travels, stories seek him out. Once a month, he plays guitar in the church band.

Mark's latest series of Christian end-times thrillers, DAYS OF THE APOCALYPSE, became an Amazon bestseller. The fifth and final book in the series is published in April, 2024.

Prior to this, Mark wrote three novels of Christian historical fiction set in ancient, Celtic Ireland. DEATH OF THE MASTER BUILDER, set in Renaissance Italy, followed and was written for the general market.

Mark has also published an epic high-fantasy series, The SCEPTER AND TOWER trilogy for young adults.

A Scary Revelation

Time is getting short, days of should I or shouldn't I are coming to an end quickly. With the three siblings in different countries will they be able to come together. Their father is lost. Now its just the three and their Christian families. Chelsea is trying to get to the family villa in Italy, Caleb and his family are going west to the sanctuary and Dylan and his group have rescued Margoh from the death camp (with help from above) in Germany. The struggles and miracles along the way are unbelievable. What satan has done to peop!as mind is unbelievable. You definitely don't want to be here for the 7 years. "Author's Notes" are very informative and enlightening. A must for everyone. Great job. Thank you.

Great Christian series!

I love finding a great Christian book, and I just finished the 3rd in this series! I would recommend these books to every person who knows Jesus, but most especially people who don't. In these you'll get some ideas about what to expect as we near the 70th week of Daniel, for non Christians that's the apocalypse. I'm sure you've heard something about the end times before our Lord and savior Jesus Christ returns. If you can read this book it should at the very least convince you to investigate what's happening in the world. Read the Christian Bible its all there, don't wait because we do not know when but our redemption draws near. God bless you☝☝☝

Look forward to the next!

This third installment in the Days of the Apocalypse series continues to keep me glued to the screen. I’ve read the first three in a week, though they’re longer books, and love the characters. Few are all good or all bad. Some are purely evil. You see hope for redemption for some, still, knowing others will suffer a terrible fate. But who will survive? I can’t wait for the next installment, the 4th of 5 planned. Highly recommended!

Days of Trial and Tribulation (Days Of The Apocalypse Book 3)

The third of the Days of the Apocalypse series was definitely a page turner. The author truly has a gift for bringing his fictional account of factual future events to life. I recommend this book, but it’s not easy to read. (That is a testament to how well it is written.)

Great book

I am always amazed at a person's perception of what the end times will be like. All I know is it scares me to death to know what is coming. I think it makes my faith stronger and the only way to get through it is by faith. Great story and a great cast of characters. I recommend reading this to all.

The book was ofcourse fiction but the writer followed Biblical context to.provide the readers switch a version of what the end times may be like. It is one of the better end times book written. I would recommend t t to everyone regardless of your.beliefs.

This is a very good Christian author.
He is following the tribulation biblically,
and has a plethora of scriptures woven in,
which is A+ as far as I am concerned.

Another good thing is,
I don't think I read 'any' swearing, it is super clean that way!
I can't vouch 100% about it,
but if there was any,
it just must have been so little,
it just did not register.
However, I am pretty sure, it is very very clean in that respect.

I do have one issue that almost made this a 4 star,
instead of a 5 star.

But since all the rest is so well done,
I will just give a heads up sort of warning,

For those who might have trouble with,
too much detail of the sexual debauchery during the tribulation.

No, it was not super explicit,
but I felt it was creeping 'almost' to crossing that line.

Many Christians
in this day and age,
have a past,
where perhaps they were
a so called 'free spirit',
and were very sexually promiscuous,
or even some women,
as well as men,
maybe, watched porn, or looked at sexie magazines etc.

So instead of mentioning statues of naked women,
or sexual symbolic sculptures, and so on...
the author could have just written something to the effect:

That the unsaved who took the mark
indulged in every sexual depravity known to mankind!

There, I wrote the sentence for him!!

Because, some people reading even slightly sexual images
would have a problem dealing with it,
bringing up their past
( sort of like a temptation).

No, again, it was not totally spelled out,
but for anyone who would rather not read
even a hint of that,
be forewarned, there is a little of that.

Which is a shame that I had to even point it out,
because the rest of the novel is excellent, and godly.
With scripture, application of scriptures, doctrine, etc etc.

I don't understand why writers ( not just this author)
do that.
Some Christians authors will have some swearing, or other such things.

But really?

Do they not know, that Christians do not live in ivory towers?
That their readers are not unaware of what the secular world is like????

All we have to do is step outside, and take a short walk around the block!
And lo and behold,
we will hear a bunch of folks swearing up a storm,
some folks out and about, will be drunk,
others will be high as a kite,
and some...
well they should get a room!
( but first get married).

Sure, we know all that and more ( violence etc.)
will be extreme during the tribulation!!

I do not wish to have a ton of such evil images,
in my mind, when reading Christian fiction.

I get, the author has to say 'something' about the sexual depravity,
in the tribulation.
But sometimes... less really is more..
or rather ,it's enough!

Just a pet peeve of mine!
For many readers,
it won't be a problem at all.
And it really is so well written,
so I had to give it 5 stars, but with that one warning.

Apocalypse Mission 3: A Demon, A Dungeon, A Den of Evil by Mark Fisher

This is book 3 in the series and it picks up right where book 2 left off. This series follows the same timeline as “The Days of the Apocalypse” series, but follows different people (who sometimes interact with the folks from the other series). In book 1, Aurora receives a special book with prophesies. She and her brothers follow what is written even though it sometimes is hard to understand. At the end of book 2 Aurora was captured. In this book Aurora has to deal with what happens after she is a prisoner and what she has to deal with. Follow along as her brothers try to figure out where she has been taken so that they can try to rescue her. This story is an adventure story that takes place during the tribulation. I really enjoyed reading this book. Mark’s love for Christ shines through.

I received an advanced copy of this book, and this is my honest review.

Loved this!

I honestly thought the first two books were pretty good. But somehow lacking all the same. This third book however was better than the other two books combined! I am not sure if part of that was because the author was working on character building and plot and conflict. But I so enjoyed this third book. There were a few different communities that were introduced. My favorite being The Big Matza and his organization. I am really hoping we haven’t seen the last of him. I am hoping that he gets saved.

Anyway, definitely looking forward to the fourth book. Can’t wait to see what else is coming. Especially for Caleb, Dylan and Chelsea.

Sleeplessness!

This book is so gripping that I read when I should be sleeping… in the middle of the night! It is such a compelling page-turner!

I fear for my family because they are not saved. I thank Jesus that He saved me from the terrors of the last days. Went He saved ME… is still a mystery to me.

Readers, this is real. Take heed.

Amazing!

Although the book of Revelation is part of my frequent bible reading, I appreciate reading stories of which I can relate. I always feel like I am a character in the story. I understand the stories are a work of fiction but the basis of the stories are true.

It is so wonderful to read literature about our God! The story of Revelation comes to life in a setting of modern times we can relate to. It is honest and scary and joyous at the same time. Bravo

Realistic vision of the end days

Very realistic portrayal of what those left behind will go through. Both new believers and the unbelieving. Seems quite true to the Bible.
