I’ve enjoyed all these books so far, but I was a little bit disappointed with this book. Ten’s character didn’t progress so much in this book as she should. She’s been tortured and betrayed and still fights pussyfoot. Can’t even kill her mentor when she’s offered up to the chopping block. The magic vs technology aspect of the story is also getting too fuzzy.
I loved the story at first but honestly it is DRAGGING along. Like this could have easily been 2-3 instead of 7. It’s repetitive. Most of the internal dialogue ten is having she’s had throughout the entire series. The books are extremely short, it’s barely a 3 hour read for me they are that short. If it’s not wrapped up soon I probably won’t finish the series. Semi spoiler ten in court happened last book so it was again repetitive. Disappointed honestly.
Like another reviewer said, when I started this series I genuinely enjoyed it. But it’s dragging…and I mean dragggggggggggggggggggging.
The series could of been much shorter but the author seems to be stretching it out. It could be for a variety of reasons but it led to me putting the book down.
This is a DNF for me. Most of the elements seemed to be a repeat of what happened in previous books.
Congratulations to Jada Fisher for this book in this amazing series. It’s extremely hard to find such an interesting and exciting author who not only writes intelligently but also provides top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories.
This series is totally addicting. At the start, it seemed like a retread of the common theme of “disadvantaged youth bonds with a dragon and starts training”. However, it’s full of twists and intrigue and even slides into a bit of science fiction! Absolutely amazing tale and thought provoking as well. Highly recommended!
Jada does it again! So many plot twists and turns! I fully enjoyed this book and some of the harsh realizations that Ten and Mina have to endure! Great job!
So far this has been an epic series. Each book is better than the last and I love that the past is being unfolded with each progression of the story. Good lord this was a great read!
Love it, addicted, on a reading bender, short review - Sorry! But it’s an excellent page turner with so much in twists, action, and so so much more. Read the series! Enjoy!
This was boring compared to her other books. Why was this needed. Ten keeps taking hit after hit... ohh goodness I'm not sure I'm ready for the next couple of books... blah
