“Bless me Father for I have sinned….and I don’t think I care.”
Each Sunday morning, I stand in robes at an altar and preach about being good and moral.

But when night falls, I take justice into my own hands, stealing from the rich to give to the poor. Ending the lives of men who never deserved to step foot inside my church.

Until I meet her.

Lyric. A single mom and stripper from the wrong side of the tracks.

She’s everything I swore not to touch.

She’s everything the predator inside me craves.

The things we do together are sinful, but neither of us can stop. Each encounter stoking the fire inside me, just begging to get out and expose my secrets to the world.

Maybe I want to burn it all for her.

Unholy Sins is a standalone forbidden romance. This book contains a happily ever after and no cliff-hanger for the main couple. Please note this is dark romance with scenes that may be triggering for some readers.

today is the daaaaay, folks.
as all of Elle’s books series do, they grab you by the nipples and they twist. In like a totally sexy way that makes you want them to keep twisting you know? Well, she grabed those suckers in book 1 and now shes still twisting LOL. And finally finally finally, we get the second book. Thank the smUT gods.
.
Zeph & Lyric, Vigilante priest and badass single stripper mama? A WHOLE FUCKING VIBE.
now I know what you’re thinking, Mikayla, those two things sound like they really don’t go together. And you’re wrong. They go together like peanut butter & jelly, sweatpants & smut books and strippers & priests (obvs) lmao
.
Lyric makes me want to be a stripper but specifically a stripper who has hot spice with a tatted up priest, you know. Cause the anti hero vibes are just so delicious

➕ standalone
➕ forbidden romance
➕ stripper/priest
➕ humor
➕ spice

p.s. my safe word will forever be Llamas 🦙

It’s always great to be back in Saint View, I am really loving these Saint View Strip books. I’ve said this lots of times, Elle doesn’t disappoint me when it comes to her writing, she always has a great blend of banter, plot and spice neither one taking centre stage.

I really enjoyed this one, I didn’t like it as much as book 1 (Evil Enemy); but I still really enjoyed the chemistry between Lyric and Zeph and I really liked that both had some vulnerability about them; neither one feeling like they were good enough for other.

The spice as always (once it got going) was delicious. I really enjoyed the darker kink that we had with Zeph in this, that was a nice surprise.

That ending was insaaaane - I really need book 3 now. Really looking forward to seeing more from this little family that’s been created; and how they’re going to go forward with Fawn and her story.

“Bless me, Father, for I have sinned…and I don’t think I care.”

Oh, wow... Unholy Sins was everything!! As soon as a tatted-up priest showed up in Evil Enemy, I knew his book was going to be sooo good!! And with Lyric too, as soon as I started reading I could not put it down!
Lyric was a stripper at the Saint View Strip Club, owned by Eve, from Evil Enemy, she also has a beautiful daughter Amelia whom she works hard to provide a better life, including taking her to kindergarten in Providence, where the rich and snobby lives. Lyric constantly ignores the side eyes and the gossip about her for the sake of her daughter. What everyone doesn't see is how hard Lyric works and how she puts everyone before herself, including her Gran, the woman who took care of and raised Lyric when her mom left.
Zeph, or Father Zeph, was a priest at Providence Church, hiding behind his robe but there was a lot more to him than the priesthood. Zeph had a dark past, dark desires, and demons he couldn't escape. After countless therapists, priests and his mom constantly telling him he was not normal, she joined the priesthood to see if it would fix his problems, but one look at Lyric and everything he worked hard to hide came roaring back and he would soon find out that he was more normal than he thought.

Zeph and Lyric were explosive together. Both had their struggles and faced judgment for their choices but their happiness and freedom were more important than anything else. A Dom tatted-up priest who discovered his desires were not so disturbing as he thought because Lyric finally made him feel seen, heard, and normal. It was not going to be an easy path for them but it was going to be worth it.

“Hello,” I said to her, offering the little girl a high five. “I’m Father Zepherin.”
She cocked her head to one side. “Father?” I nodded. “So I call you Daddy?”
“No, but I might,” Lyric quipped beneath her breath, but plenty loud enough for all of us to hear.

Gah! These books are so good! I need to know what happens with Augie and Ophelia, and I think Fawn might maybe end up with Richards the rookie cop, which I think would be adorable. I need the next books! I need Kara's story, too (Rebel's sister). I just need them now.

I loved Zeph. He is foine as hell, sweet, sexy, smart, insecure, strong... he is a walking contradiction, okay? But he works it. I absolutely loved his character! I was wondering if we were going to end up with another Vincent/Scythe situation, knowing that he kills people, but he was unique! I loved seeing how the manipulation he went through as a kid shaped who he was and how he thought, but how he was able to break through that and change.

I love Lyric as well! Her and Amelia were the cutest of duos, but add in the fact that she is this fantastic mom and a stripper and that she takes care of her grandmother with dementia, and I knew she would be a fast favorite!

I just have to say that I was WAITING for Vincent/Scythe to show up with Ophelia in tow!!! *cackles maniacally* I can't wait for the next books! Also, I'm sitting here staring at a wall trying to figure out where the name Juilliette was mentioned in the last couple of books because I swear that name came out earlier! Zeph's mom is going to end up being someone who was mentioned or introduced earlier. But I love these little sneak peeks and snippets/cameos previous characters make!

i am eating this series up. i love how quickly elle thorpe puts out her books because then i can tear through the series quickly. this book was just as good as book 1. this story revolves around a priest (zeph) and a stripper who is a single mom (lyric). if you enjoyed priest by sierra simone, this is even better. i loved seeing the history behind zeph and the dark side of a priest. the taboo between lyric and zeph because of his priesthood was so angsty and the payoff was so well done. i loved the tension and banter between zeph and lyric. lyric was a strong independent woman and such a good mom to amelia. this story really shows that where you come from and the amount of money you have do not define who you are as a person. there were a lot of new characters introduced in lyric and zeph story and loved seeing all of those, especially amelia and lyric’s gran. i also loved seeing all of the other character from elle’s other stories. i wished we would have seen more about fawn since that was the main plotline from last book, but i did enjoy the storyline of this book as well. i’m very excited to see where the next book will take these characters and this story!

*4.5 Stars*

I've been enjoying this series and the mystery that has been running from book one definitely has me wanting to get to the bottom of it. With that running in the background of the story about Lyric and Zeph it adds a little something in terms of extra intrigue.

I really liked Lyric and how strong she was and how she stood up for herself, was a good Mum, protective of people she cares about and doing the best she can. Zeph was an interesting one too and there was a lot going on in his life that was really brought about by trauma. I also liked the developing relationship with Lyric and Lleyton & Kat, that played out much better that I expected.

The turns at the end re certain family members were quite something and overall I think this all played out nicely. And then that ending with Augie? I can't wait to read Killer Kiss.

A priest and a stripper for the main characters in a romance novel!?! Who would have ever imagined. Well, with her Saint View Strip series, author Elle Thorpe is giving us all kinds of opposites attract stories.

I loved pretty much everything about Lyric and Zeph's story. I loved seeing the dark side of a priest. I loved the way this story showed that where you're from or the money you have does not define who you are. I absolutely hated Zeph's mom and thought those feelings would carry over to his sister. I loved Lyric's Gran. Amelia was something special.

I loved how many of our other favorite Saint View characters made appearances in this book. I can't wait to see what happens next at Saint View Strip.

Elle Thorpe Nails It Again!

Stars ⭐ 5/5
Spice 🌶 5/5

Elle Thorpe is a master of dark romance and "Unholy Sins" is no exception! She pulls you in from the very beginning and all you can do is buckle up and enjoy the ride! Zeph and Lyric's story is raw, dark, and incredibly spicy. Thorpe is weaving a spectacular world in her Saint View story lines. I love watching them all weave together in this dark romance that includes mystery, intrigue, ripped-from-the-headlines drama, and an incredible love story.

So good, I cannot wait to read book 3 in the Saint View Strip series.

This was good. Very, very good. I am FOAMING AT THE MOUTH for Augie's book. I am already obsessed, and desperately waiting for the release date to be kicked up.
And where the hell is Fawn!? That girl deserves the wildest sex and some killer ssexual tension after dealing with Eddie and his jerkbag-assery. I can not wait for someone to gut that man so hard.
Now off to read Rebel's new releases!

Really loving the saint view strip series. So many of these characters previously introduced, and you just knew there was more.

Lyric is fantastic, and I have to say Elle's portrayl of Leighton is amazing. So often we see the baby daddy being a total deadbeat, not caring etc, and then the girlfriend being not much better. Elle not only portrayed Lyric as a strong woman, but also with the support of her ex who mostly had it together and his girlfriend, notably the ex even said she is a fantastic mother. This is the kind of positive split family dynamic we need in these stories. Thank you for including that.

Definitley a great read, didn't see the villian until it was obvious and then I was awed at the storyline and intricacies. Always a pleasure reading her books.

Lyric and Zeph were hot!!
I loved the audiobook a lot.

Little Amelia was adorable.
I didn’t know how to feel about Kat and Lyric’s ex-boyfriend but by the end I respected the ex and still hated Kat

Kat fucked up in the end by giving Amelia to Zeph’s evil mother, thinking its Lyric’s grandma. Kat was in a hurry to make her flight to the UK.

His mom was a psycho. She took Zeph from his prostitue mom saying she isn’t a suitable mom. She beat up little Zeph whenever he mentioned his mom until he forgot all about her. What a freak

Oh my, is it hot in here?!

Unholy Sins follows the characters introduced in Evil Enemy but brings depth to them - and their dark side! Be ready for a wild ride because you're in for a treat with a side of steaming hot spice!

I really appreciated the way Elle portraits and write co-parenting, recomposed families and their difficulties without falling into clichés.

I am so in love with everything I’ve read by Elle! All her Saint View series are addicting, fast paced, have just the right amount of action and suspense, and holy heck the spice! OFF. THE. CHARTS.
After reading book 1 Evil Enemy from The Saint View Strip series, I was left with my head spinning. I needed answers to Fawn and where she was. And I was thinking, and hoping, her story would be with Augie. But I knew Lyric and Zeph’s story was next, and I can’t tell you how excited I was because what’s hotter than a stripper and a priest!! And Elle definitely didn’t disappoint. I couldn’t put this book down. I loved Zeph, he was a modern day vigilante Robin Hood, stealing from the rich to help out the poor. Lyric was a very likable heroine, I loved her strength and determination to do everything herself. She was a single mom, and taking care of her grandmother all by herself and she had the weight of the world on her shoulders. My only complaint with her was I wanted her to stand up for herself when it came to Kat and Lleyton. I didn’t like how Kat interfered and injected herself into the decisions for Amelia, that wasn’t her place and I really wanted Lyric to step in and let her have it. But surprisingly by the end of the book I liked and respected Lleyton.
I can’t wait for April, 2024!! I need book 3 NOW. When I was reading book 1 I didn’t connect Augie as Banjo’s brother from the Saint View High series at first. I couldn’t stand him then. But getting a glimpse of him in book 1 and now this one, there’s so much more to this man’s story and I’m excited for it. But I’m keeping my fingers crossed his story will be with Fawn, but I kinda have a feeling his HEA will be with Ophelia. So knowing how Fawn felt about him in book, I’m imagining book 3 is going to have a lot of angst.
I love how Elle intertwines her series together and we get little glimpses of characters from other series!!

Zeph & Lyric

These two are such an interesting pair in all honesty and I’m kind of still wrapping my head around them. Lyric is a tough girl who have endured so much in her life and sacrifices so much for her daughter. Zeph also has been throw a ton too in his childhood that led him to priesthood but in a wonky Robin Hood kind of way though. It’s all just alot to unpack in one book but I think we got a good handle on it though. These two have an instant connection that is hard for them to ignore as the book goes on so they constantly are drawn to one another and slowly get to know each other better.

I wholly expected nothing shy of super spicy from Elle in all things Saint View but I loved the primal aspect of Zeph and the dominant tendencies. Lyric kept a lot of her sass but it didn’t feel bratty though. I kind of wish there was more developed in that side of the story cause Zeph was just learning about the lifestyle after being so conditioned by the church over time. Again, soooo many layers to unpack in both their trauma. Speaking of drama, I didn’t see that storyline coming at the end with Zeph’s mom and Father Byron. Like whoa!!

Now I’m ready for Augie’s story hopefully next but I’m also glad to see one of my Saint View favorites, Scythe, back again at the very end there and even some of the OG Saint View High group with that brief moment with Banjo and his family.

Well, well, well. Things certainly take a turn in this book and get downright unholy. Holy heck I was not expecting that one scene at all (IYKYK).

That being said this was a fantastic follow-up to Evil Enemy and I gave it 4.5 stars. This wasn't the story I was hoping for based on the cliffhanger in Evil Enemy, but I can sense Elle is going to keep building that up and I'm hoping for that particular story to be huge.

Lyric is the character from Saint View Strip that gets her story. She's a single mum and just like most people on the Saint View side she's doing the best she can and making her way through a hard life. She's fiercely independent and though she has her found family, she probably doesn't rely on them as much as she could.

Zeph is the man who catches her attention like no other has before, not even the father of her child. The big problem is that Zeph is a priest and he couldn't be more off limits. What Lyric doesn't realize is that since seeing her across the way during a mayoral speech held at his church he's become a little obsessed with the stripper. He makes no move to be in her life, believing all the things he thinks about and wants are evil.

There is a clear divide between these two at first, but as we learn through the story they have some similarities in their past and present. Bought together by circumstance and a touch of fate there is no more pretending the other doesn't exist. Their lives are about to crash into each other and its going to be one hell of a bang.

Both these characters were easy to like, even though for a holy man, Zeph is a little morally grey. There were moments I wanted these two just to speak and get their act together which is probably what brought down the star rating a little. Overall, their explosion was certainly worth the wait and I liked the stripper and the priest getting a HEA.

Looks like book three is going to give us some more answers about the cliffhanger from Evil Enemy so I'm looking forward to Augie's book Killer Kiss.
.
.
.
Despite the time that has passed since he first saw her, Zeph can't get the beautiful red-headed stripper out of his head. Lyric is beautiful and feisty and she is everything he's not supposed to want or need. But there is no forgetting about her no matter what he does to distract himself.
'One glimpse had set me to unraveling. It had only gotten worse since. To the point where now, I couldn't have her, but I couldn't give her up either.'

Things are getting tougher for Lyric. The club is quiet and the money isn't coming in leaving all of the staff struggling more than normal. On top of that they are all broken about the loss of Fawn and the lack of answers. When her night only turns worse she's at the end of her rope. Even though she could handle herself, a stranger jumps in to help.

With juggling caring for her daughter, her aging ill grandmother, and trying to keep a roof over their heads and food on their tables the last thing Lyric needs is Amelia's father, Lleyton letting his one responsibility slip. Now her daughter has to change daycare and go to a church center of all places. Lyric won't fit in there, but for her daughter, she'll do anything to break the cycle she was raised in. When they arrive she finds out that the priest in charge of this church is the man from the rally and the man who saved her last night.

Zeph can't stay away from Lyric. Seeing her every day is becoming more than a want, it's a need. Lyric enjoys Zeph's company even though she knows that spending time with him is pointless because he's taken his vows. Despite that, though she's sure at times they are flirting. She also finds that he gives her something she didn't know she needed. He takes some of the weight from her forcing her to let him help. Zeph finds for the first time in a long time things feel right for him.
"I can't walk away from you, Lyric. I don't fucking know how."

They are walking a fine line between friendship and more and it becomes harder to want to stay on the right side of it. Their worlds will implode when their secret gets out but they could be each other's safe place to fall if they just trust in what they could be.
"Tell me I'm safe with you. That's all I really want to know."
"Always. I'm never going to let anyone hurt you. Not even me."

Happy Reading.

This second Saint View Strip book immediately hooked me in and I was completely invested in the story until the last word. I can’t get enough of these books. Each trilogy is so different but just as brilliant in its writing style and execution, this author blows me away with the way she can plot such intricate storylines.

Honestly, I couldn’t think of a better character for Zeph than Lyric and vice versa. They complement each other so well. Now, I know saying that about a priest might upset some people but I am talking about his personality. The fact he is a priest is neither here nor there really. It’s the last thing to be concerned about considering the vigilante lifestyle he’s taken up. BUT his heart is in the right place and that’s Zeph—a modern-day Robin Hood in a way.

Lyric is such a tower of strength because she has to be, loaded down with her responsibilities. Looking after her loved ones means she needs to get on with the job and do the best she can, but in this story, we see how tough it is for her. I loved seeing this side of her, not from any negative point of view, but because it was so real. She became ‘real’. Both Zeph and Lyric have many different ways they use to cope, they are simple people yet very complex too. See even trying to describe them is difficult—you need to read this book to discover their wonderful characters. Their chemistry is off the charts 🔥🔥🔥.

I love the way this book reminds me of another character from an earlier trilogy, Vincent/Scythe. Oh man, what a complex guy he is but so endearing too… yet he really shouldn’t be. 😆 Again, it happens in this story, such is the power of the writing where you are ready to totally get on board with anything Zeph does.

This book has it all; a terrific romance, supportive friends, suspense and that’s divided into more than one part, twists and turns to create an unpredictable story, and interesting and likable characters. Now, I need Fawn’s story 😳 poor Fawn. 😢

Saint View Strip Book 2 is just as riveting and sinfully delicious as Book 1. You will devour these new characters and fall hard for this taboo/forbidden love story. Everything Saint View always has an edge and some danger but that's what makes these characters so exciting and intriguing. You will not be able to put this book down. You will be engrossed in their story from the first to the last word.

Zeph is a hot and sexy priest who has the tendency to kill people who he knows deserve to feel his wrath. He is deliciously wicked but also has a heart of gold when it comes to people who are struggling and who are trying their hardest to make ends meet. He is attentive, smart, and does not fit the profile or behaviors of a man of the cloth. There was insta-love for me because he is such an amazing character and you want him to find salvation even if it's in the most unconventional way.

Lyric is a mom and works for Eve at her club. She is devoted to her ailing mother and her daughter. She will do anything she can to provide for Amelia and she will not be shamed for what she chooses to do. She is strong, resilient, and will not let anyone define her or make her feel unworthy of being a mother but times are tough for everyone. Lyric doesn't allow people to give her hand outs but when Zeph agrees to hire her at the church Lyric is hesitant but working there will allow her to get childcare for free. Zeph is unlike any man Lyric has ever encountered and he intrigues her in many ways. She is attracted to him but he is a priest so she knows it can't go anywhere or can it.....

Their story is powerful, emotional, and riveting. You will devour every unholy and sinfully delicious scene between them. We also get some glimpses into some of our favorite Saint View characters who hopefully will be getting their own stories soon. This book is going to blow your mind and leave you fully satisfied, yet all the hints and unanswered questions about some of our other favorite characters is going to leave you needing more in true Elle fashion. She is the queen of phenomenal characters that stay with you long after the last word is read. I know this book will be no exception to her other amazing stories. Walk don't run to devour and fall to your knees because this book is going to make you want to be a sinner! Happy Reading!!!

Fawn is still missing.
Lyric has a 4 year old and lives with her and her grandmother who has dementia. To make ends meet she works as a stripper. She lives in the slum apartments and her daughter goes to a fancy daycare paid for by her father. When her father stops paying, she loses the spot and has to go to some church daycare that her fathers girlfriend picked out. And that’s where lyric meets zeph, the hot priest.
But zeph has a sordid past and being a priest was forced on him because he’s a deviant in the bedroom and scared a high school girlfriend.
He’s also secretly stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. Oh and killing nasty priests who touch kids.
Zeph has been watching lyric for months. He knows when she goes to work and when she leaves. One night her car breaks down and she has to walk home. She is followed and then Steph beats the shit out of the guy who’s following her. She starts cleaning at the church for extra money. Amelia’s father and girlfriend decide they want to take her on a vacation real quick and ask lyric to watch their cats. So one night she goes to the fancy house in the nice part of town and takes a bath, has some wine and dances around in her underwear. Then she sees zeph watching her through the window so they have a moment of watching each other and that’s when lyric figures out that zeph is not the kind of priest she thought and they have a wild affair. Zeph tells his mother he wants out of the church and he’s fallen in love with lyric so she tells her to bring lyric to a party. The mother is an evil bitch though. She steals lyrics phone and calls her a whore. Lyric and zeph run out in the woods and do dirty things and then they leave the party.
Turns out zephs mother is a kidnapper and she snatches up Amelia. Zeph finds his mother and Amelia at some rundown mental place and there’s a bunch of other kids there. And it’s run by another priest who happens to be the guy zeph beat up and he has a computer full of kiddie porn. Zeph convinces him to hang himself. Then zeph leaves the church and he and lyric move into a nicer place with Amelia and HEA.

Ok, stop. Father Zeph. I can’t. Seriously – this book is too much, in the BEST possible way. I have read a handful of priest book but I think that Father Zeph takes the absolute cake. He fits right into the perfect vibe that @ElleThorpe has created in this Saint View world. He is a vigilante, he is a protector and when he meets our sweet, sensual Lyric, all bets are off! Ahh!

I love that Saint View Strip is connected so many characters are stories that are already in the Saint View world. Lyric is someone who has come up so many times, and in the last book we see the single mother struggle. This book focuses on her trying to make ends meet for her daughter, Amelia, take care of her grandmother, deal with her baby-daddy and… yes, oh yes, her interactions with our favorite Zeph. I love that this book is a natural continuation of the first book. We get to see our Eve and Boston together – even getting a spicy moment between them from Eve’s perspective, which I absolutely loved – and we see how everyone is picking up the pieces now that Fawn is missing, taken by an ex-boyfriend. Seeing poor Augie so torn up was heart-wrenching, ah!

I love that Zeph and Lyric pushed all the boundaries between them. It was so well down with all the layers of intimacy between them, and how Lyric is the one to break down all Zeph’s walls. Plus, the spice between these two was off the charts – I was absolutely squealing while reading!

Once again, I don’t think that anyone is writing dark romantic suspense like @ElleThorpe. The craveability of all of this books, the way that it is written with amazing character development, spice for days and keeping me on my toes with murder, crime, intrigue. It’s a thriller of the best kind.

That last sentence. Whew. It is setting us up for an amazing book three. Plus, who is my favorite character in all of Saint View? Scythe, of course. He dropped the hammer, and I am ready for book three immediately!

Lyric is a single mom who works for Eve at Saint View Strip Club. She's barely getting by but she refuses to give up.

Zeph, or Father Zepherin as his congregation calls him, desires Lyric but he is fighting it tooth and nail. He went into the priesthood to keep others away from his dark desires. Yet, he has more secrets hidden beneath his presently collar.

This is the second book of the Saint View Strip series and essentially pucks up where Evil Enemy left off. Fawn is still missing and the search for her plays a minor role. With this we get a few chapters from the POV of characters other than Lyric or Zeph.

The sparks between Zeph and Lyric could start a fire and are center stage. They both know, due to his chosen profession, that they shouldn't act on what they feel. Yet, they keep being drawn to one another.

Elle Thorpe has created such an amazing world with the Saint View books. The characters are so well written that they feel real. This is one forbidden love story that has it all. Protective, Alpha MMC. Stubborn, Sassy, and Strong AF FMC. He has a desire to protect her even if it's from himself. She has a desire to make sure everyone around her is taken care of no matter her cost.

I feel there are a few more twists and turns in this book that usual for the Sain View books, but just my opinion, and that's just in the first half of the book. This book has an A+ plot and A++++++ spice. Definitely a must read for fans of Dark(ish) romance.

And did I mention a guest appearance by Scythe? Iykyk 😉
