This book is written so poorly it’s so hard to read.
There’s a lot of dialog but it doesn’t specify who is talking so half the time you just have to guess who is most likely saying that.

Then the POV writing is wonky. I shouldn’t have to read chapters of one event from one POV and then chapters from another POV with the same event.

It’s also Insta accepting werewolves with no question, insta love, literally saying I love you after basically introduction.

There’s a bunch of plot holes and stuff that doesn’t make sense / wasnt explained.

Whole book was just very subpar

Interesting story

Overall I enjoyed the story. I gave four stars because the story is rough in spots, but worth a read. I am looking forward to the rest.

I like the story, but

It was often difficult to tell who was talking. Someone would say something then in the same paragraph layout block another person would respond without a name indicating a new person was speaking. Yes they were separated by different quotation marks, but the way it was formatted you really had to read some conversations two or three times to figure out who the heck was speaking. An editor should have corrected that. Just putting statements by different people in separate paragraphs would helped fix a lot of that, and adding more names to indicate the speaker in front of or behind a statement when more than two people are talking would cut down on the confusion.
Otherwise I liked the story. There wasn’t a lot of angst between the major characters. The h was brave and sweet, and didn’t have any TSTL moments, so that was wonderful. I liked the story. I just implore the author to go back through this story and fix the conversations so it is easier to follow. It would vastly improve this book.

I'm really hoping this is a new author and this was their first book. This should still be in editing phase, there are so many spelling and grammatical mistakes. There is also a lot of pointless information towards the end there, as though the author was just beefing up the word count.

I'm a big fan of heroines that find their strength as the story goes along, it gives feels. However even from the get go all I could think was, she's 24 she could have left a long time ago. I didn't see the chemistry between the heroine and the MMC it just wasn't there.

All in all I think this book started with a solid plot then it just fizzled. Having to go step by step of their making the cabin their home was dead boring. At about 67% found myself wondering what else could possibly happen and I was right... Nothing... I lost all interest at 80%

✅Werewolf Romance
✅Fated mates

Willow grew up in an abusive household she couldn’t wait to get away, her parents have other plans and decided to sell her for a get out of jail free card and some cash. Fighting to survive she gets away just to be caught and thrown into a concrete cellar left to die. Alias’s brother goes missing only to be tracked to the same cellar Willow’s in. He bring her back to the pack and is going brother bear thinking she’s responsible for his brother going missing….

Okay so I think this book could have had potential, but it jumps around a lot. It doesn’t flow very nicely, and it feels like the author was trying to throw gum at the wall to see if it sticks. It felt like there were to many things that were happening and none of them really got wrapped up. The writing style is also very meh

This story has so much potential but lacks the depth needed to really draw the reader into the story. I feel that on the most important parts more time would have impacted the character development and the world building. The grammar is also an issue for me. As an English teacher it just stuck out like a sore thumb and pulled me out of the story. Some of it was also just too fast paced so it came off as cheesy. I think the author has great potential with what they have, but needs to build on it and revise and edit.

3.5. Willow has had enough of her parents abuse. She’s almost saved enough money to get out of town when she’s sold to the chief of police’s son.
Alias finds her locked in a basement half dead when he finds his lost brother.
Family may be what she wanted to get away from but a true family is what she found.
Cute book. Not overly complex. Decent character development but is missing something that really grabs me in

I can't bring myself to like the female lead

This book is giving me whiplash with the she's tough/she's weak act. I actually couldn't wait to finish this book, because I can't stand starting a book and not finishing it and I was just over it. I can't bring myself to read book 2 so...

Great read

I loved the story and the characters. I would have definitely gone with 5 stars for the story itself but had to dock a star for typos! I look forward to reading the next book!
