The show is over and now the fun begins. From the producers of The One, InstaLove is taking reality TV dating shows to the next level. And if you thought this past season was hot—wait until the couples reunite for a reunion to remember.
LMAOAOAO. This was a real reunion that was chaotic asf and included an update on each couple. I ADORE IT I'm sure Twitter would have gone nuts about this if it were true.
It was so nice catching up the my favorite reality show couple. They're even more in love than before. I'm excited that things ended on a high note and that reunion was good and messy. Literally had my mouth wide open. This was a great read.
I’ve been waiting for this follow-up to InstaLove (The One Series Duet) and I’m glad that I didn’t have to wait long. In this reunion book we get a chance to see Zion and Mariah interact without the camera’s rolling. They are on their honeymoon so there’s definitely some spice. We really didn’t see much of the other couples in the first book but were able to see/hear about their experiences in this one. This felt like watching a real reality TV show. I enjoyed this as much as the first one.
I love Zion and Mariah! They were soo good! I enjoyed them and they’re update before the reunion! Now the reunion was messy and honestly, I didn’t see that coming. Danielle wrote the heck out of this short and I’m going to go back in her catalog to her first reality tv romance book because this was soo good! Definitely recommend!
This was a fun read! I really loved finding out what happened to the other four couples from the show. The reunion drama was juicy! I also enjoyed getting a little more of Mariah and Zion’s journey. It was nice to see Zion land on his feet professionally. It was cool getting parts of the story from his perspective. This was a good glimpse into the aftermath of everyone’s time on InstaLove. Including the update on Kip! LOL
Instalove should be read before reading Instalove: The Reunion.
This novella picks up with Julian and Mariah on their honeymoon! The first book, Instalove, followed different couples getting engaged at first sight and living together for four weeks. The couples participated in challenges and had to decide whether they wanted to get married at the end of the four weeks. Julian and Mariah were the focus of Instalove, and they decided to stay married!
In Instalove: The Reunion, the first half of the book is in Julian's POV, where we get to see how life is for them after the honeymoon. The second half of the book is basically like the reunion shows you see on TV. We get to catch up with the other couples we were introduced to in Instalove. It was hilarious seeing who was still together and whose relationship had drama from the minute they left the show.
This was a great duet for those who are fans of Married at First Sight/Love is Blind! Definitely recommend!
TROPES: novella; black romance/BIPOC/OWN voices; second book in duet; older hero/heroines (late 30s); reality TV; instalove
Thank God the Devil is gone!?! Kip got fired and frankly I needed his a** to get beat once but I'll take what I can get.
This book was just the thing to round up Mariah and Zion's story. Not like I had any doubts but it's good to seem them happy and ready to just love, live and be happy. It has been a while since I was this invested in a couple but given the way it's written, there was no way I wasn't going to leave obsessed. I loved everything about this book. It's drama and romance, like why wouldn't I be living.
Let's talk about the real mess... What do you mean you slept with another contestant after your fiancé chose a car over you. Gagged!!! I had my suspicions but I'm not going to pretend like I didn't laugh when they revealed Miss Thing chose the car. I felt like I was watching a live reunion reading Part 2 , I definitely did not see any of that coming but there always gotta be that one person who just gotta be a literal menace... Becca. Cause she didn't have to do all that quite frankly.

-I loved seeing the story from Zions point of view - I loved how they captured the drama of reality TV - I loved the update on all the other couples - I loved the spice! (Zion is NASTY but I’m here for it 😛)
This series was the first I read from Danielle Allen but I’ll look for more in the future.
4,75⭐️ J’ai bien aimé revoir mon couple favoris et les autres couples même si j’aurais aimé les voir hors caméras avec leurs familles / amies. La réunion était tellement messy, les petits dramas comme dans Love is Blind on aime
After finishing Instalove it only made sense to read The Reunion and Baby I was not disappointed. First off Zion, you are a nasty man and I love that for you. I wish I had seen how Zion and Mariah navigate life after the reunion however this was still a fun quick read.
✨Book Review✨ Instalove: The Reunion Author : Danielle Allen Rating 3/5⭐️ Spice : 3/5
This book is a quick Novella follow-up with the couples after being married for one month. It mainly follows Zion and Mariah after returning from their honeymoon and starting the process of moving in together. While I love that Zion is a freak there was a little too much sex for the book to be under 90 pages.
The couples get to finally reunite with their co-stars and find out updates on their relationships. I honestly expected a lot more from the reunion. While there were quick recaps for each couple I had no connection with them because there wasn’t any information given about them in the first book. What I did enjoy was getting Zion's point of view. The only thing that kept me interested was the little bit of drama at the end with the other couples.
I was really looking forward to this one; however, I was slightly thrown off that the reunion didn’t start until the 60% mark. I was hoping to read more about the other couples and their journeys. With that being said, the reunion portion was so much fun to read. Only downside with the reunion, I was hoping for another chapter or two to see how the drama (you gotta read it to find out what the drama is) unfolds after the camera stopped rolling. Overall, Danielle Allen continues to consistently deliver material that is entertaining and does not disappoint.
Whew the drama of this reunion. They did a good job capturing the messiness of reality TV reunions without going overboard.
It was so good to see the progression of Zion and Mariah's love. Everything was falling in place for them. They were respectful to each other, making sure to consider each other in their decisions. Their sexual connection was also intense. It made sense why they were a fan favorite, it was their genuineness and willingness to be vulnerable that jumped off the page. I'm hoping for a few kids for them in the future ❤️
I enjoyed this short and getting an update on the Instalove cast. There were definitely some shocking and jaw dropping reveals from a few members of the cast, but I loved that Zion and Mariah were still in love and thriving and committed to making things work for them. After the reunion, I think I want more details on Armando and Zainab because wow. I highly recommend this series and I would be interested to see if this concept could be a reality.
“InstaLove: The Reunion (The One Series Duet), oh my goodness this book was a good read too. Well at least Zion & Mariah’s portion. Clearly the fire, passion & love between Zion & Mariah continues. I didn’t need the InstaLove updates of the other three contestant couples. …felt more like fillers than a cohesive story. Nevertheless, I adore Zion & Mariah’s journey. I would gave rather had more of their story or even a Benji update.
I still love Zion and Mariah! Their chemistry is off the charts and their love feels authentic! I kinda wished to hear about her ex loser and ex friend's reaction to Mariah's happiness. Anyway the reunion show did not disappoint with the right ounce of drama. Am I greedy for wanting more because I could read more about this InstaLove show.
Whew the sex scenes were just as detailed and steamy as the show. It was just as funny. And even though it was a novella it was a complete story on our main couple and a great update on our other couples we saw throughout the show. I can’t wait to see what DA comes up with next. InstaLove and The Reunion are definitely Must Reads and Must Haves in your collection.
I did not expect the craziness, I just knew she chose the car over the man it was completely foreshadowed. Did not expect the hookup between those two chile the drama! Zion and Mariah I just always want more of them, so whenever you get inspired please keep writing for them!
The updated version and follow-up to The One and InstaLove were super lovely... I loved this story the reunion was nice. I love when a story comes together nicely. Zion and Mariah gave a new meaning to love at first sight that turned onto something really sweet. I loved this second edition to their marvelous love story.
The dating show within a book premise took me a bit to get used to, but this couple was super hot and also very loving to one another. Nice wrap up, although the other couple updates felt unnecessary since I d didn’t get that deep into their relationships in the first book.
Well Zion and Mariah are making their love and marriage work for them. Their romance is evident in every move they make together and separate. The reunion show definitely had some surprises for all the couples-both good and bad. Great conclusion to Zion and Mariah’s story.
I read this book right after Instalove and it’s a mess read if you like me and want to know what else happen. The reunion was messy and funny like many reality TV reunions. Do Not forgot to read this book after Instalove Mariah and Zion, Prosha and Winston and Isabella and E won.
I’ll start out by saying the main book was 5/5 stars for me. I loved every second of it. For this book, it gets a 4/5 stars from me because of how abrupt the ending was. I felt like there could have been more to it, especially when the plot twist was a couple pages before the ending. However, it’s still a good book, just wish it had a longer, and well though out ending.
This reunion was messy, it was everything that Love is Blind Reunion tried to be I think last summer. The drama, the tea! I was cracking up so hard. On a serious note I love love love Zion and Mariah’s relationship honestly it’s so genuinely and endearing they’re love what they have is literally what I pray on. This was such a good read!
I enjoyed the reunion too Insta Love! Even though it was a short, or was jam packed with love and drama. I went right into it after reading the first book, and I'm glad I did. It was all around an awesome read. This book was recommended to be by Tiktok and I'm happy I found it.
I felt like I was really watching a reunion show with this book. I loved how it was written and finally meeting the other couples. It felt realistic exploring how Mariah and Zion were navigating their marriage post the show. Their issues were relatable and handled maturely. I appreciated this book for concluding their story.
I would have enjoyed this more if it was less about them having sex and “more” about the reunion and their life with their families and friends after the cameras stopped rolling. I don’t even remember if Mariah officially met his dad in book one. We know she obviously did at the wedding, but I don’t think it was stated the way it was with her dad. The humor was still there in this book, especially when that old lady asked them to give up their seat for her husband.
I loved that this matches the energy of reunions shows on TV!🤣 This was chaotic and beautiful at the same time 🤗 It was exciting to see which couple made it and hear a little about their journey as well as see the difficulty that some of the couples faced. Also I was very shook to see Zainab's decision but I felt her reasoning behind it.
