I think this second season is weaker than the first one, and in general, this Triple Crown continuation is weaker (plot wise) than King's Maker, but I like the characters and I want to see how this ends.
The art is stunning, but plot feels rushed, and again, the timeline is confusing. For what we saw in the preview of the season I thought this was going to be darker and more heavy, more like King's Maker, but it wasn't, and I don't know if I like it or not. I think some potentially interesting plot lines were overlooked.
That said, I'm glad these two idiots finally talked about their feelings and thigs got cleared up. But maybe it would have been better to do so in a more private setting. Shin's dad almost died on the spot! And I didn't see that Queen Mother twist coming, let's see what comes from that.
Things ended in a more or less good place for the season, and I'm going to wait until the last one is finised on Tapytoon to read it.
