Onomatopoeia Friends: Illustrated book of Japanese onomatopoeic characters

Japanese onomatopoeia is frequently used not only in manga but also in everyday life. There are so many onomatopoeia in Japanese that there are said to be more than 4,000. Many of you who are learning Japanese may have a hard time remembering onomatopoeia.
That is why we collected 50 onomatopoeia that are used particularly frequently in daily life and created a character from each word.

そこでこの度、日常的に特によく使われている50のオノマトペを集め、それぞれの言葉からキャラクターを作りました。
キャラクターのユニークな特徴や性格から、オノマトペの意味を楽しく覚えることができます。
さらに日本語で書かれた4コマ漫画（英語翻訳あり）を通して、そのオノマトペが実際にどのような場面で使われるのかを知ることができます。

I found out about this book as I am a fan of Tanaka on Youtube.
The book is beautifully illustrated.
It provides 50 onomatopoeia, each with their own unique character. Japanese as a language uses a large amount of onomatopoeia, there are probably 100s!
The onomatopoeia in this book are mostly used in daily life, with relevant and useful examples used in a short comic strip.
I really enjoyed this book but it was over too quickly!

Possibly one of the cutest things I’ve ever read!
I recommend it for language learners of all levels. 癒し系だし、ユーモアもよくて素晴らしいですよ！This has definitely made me want to check out Tanaka-san’s YouTube channel.
