The secret of the Earth’s most precious substance, would be found in a book with no words…

Parkinson’s patient George d’Clare and his wife Madison find themselves in the middle of another mystery. Dying from an age-old poison, Madison’s Uncle Charlie makes an unbelievable his real name is Aquinas, born in 1322, and he’s been involved in a seven-hundred-year crusade to stop the Wanderer, an immortal man determined to destroy the world.
Charlie explains his amazing longevity is from ingesting the mythical element carmot, a magical substance that cures diseases, suspends aging, and transforms ordinary rocks into pure gold. He also reveals he has partially deciphered a medieval clairvoyant’s “Wordless Book” (a manuscript containing only symbols) foretelling where to find the carmot, and how a weakened man will hold the secret of how to defeat the Wanderer – a man who fits George’s description.
When Charlie dies, Madison attributes his bizarre story to delirium. But after narrowly escaping a fire that destroys her uncle’s home, she and George make a startling an ancient book full of symbols!
Can George and Madison decipher the remaining symbols in the Wordless Book before the Wanderer orchestrates Armageddon?

I loved how action packed this story was. Some of the characters from Dale’s previous book were in this story and it was great to read how their journey continued in this science fiction action novel. I really loved how the story progressed. Great read!
