Three Ties #3

Three Souls Who Break

Rate this book
The Family Man

Xaiden Dremest was in love once and lost that love before it could become forever. His dreams shattered. His world ended. Since then, he’s been going through the motions, but not truly living. Until two men enter his life who show him it’s okay to try again.

The Wild Card

Valiant Bowen knows what it’s like to take a hit, figuratively and literally. That's in the past though. He wants to move forward, except he doesn’t know how. He's happy with his job, his apartment, and his friends. Yet something is still missing.

The Doctor

Corbin Dove loves being a doctor, just not how much it takes over his life. He’s looking for something new. To branch out on his own, and maybe enter the dating world while he’s at it. He’s always found men attractive but never had the courage to flirt, let alone ask a man out.

Three ties to bind. Three hearts on the line.

Three souls who break trying to ease their ache.

They shouldn’t fit together. They shouldn’t work. For all the uncertainty, the struggle, when they’re together, everything is as it should be. Falling in love is inevitable.

The road they travel isn’t paved. There are no signs, no directions. With their destination in sight, they have to overcome the ghosts of their pasts and the fear in their hearts.

Three Souls Who Break is an MMM steamy contemporary romance and the final book in the Three Ties series. It features a lost ex-fighter who’s afraid of settling down, a virgin mechanic who can’t see what’s right in front of him, and a sweet doctor who’s never been with one, let alone two, men before. There is bi-awakening, an age gap, hurt/comfort, and a HEA. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone but is better enjoyed when read in order.

So bloody sweet

How can a book so heartbreak be so sweet. These book are not just repeats of each other, they all have unique back stories and the guys are all different. Xaidens past is just heart breaking and he's held off from living for so long, Corbin was left devastated after his divorce no I raided him and left him feeling unworthy of love while poor Val had an awful upbringing and has no family to be there for him. Is it anywhere the three became their own family and in turn, as part of their HEA took in Cody and Olivia to complete it x

Ok! I still adore this book but insta love sometimes isn't my fav. With that said, this still delivered a fabulous throuple who were just adorable together! Xaiden was probably my favorite of the 3 but that's because he's the most broken! And to see him seamlessly accept the possibility of love from men over women was beautiful. I really appreciate in Michelle's writing that our MCs never truly question the uniqueness of their relationships. They accept the love where it comes from and it's amazing! Val and Corbin are adorable and Corbin's doctor bed side manner crosses over into the relationship and I'm here for that tender care he offers both these guys! Val-the younger tougher (in mind) of the group keeps the laughter and love flowing between the other two.

I'm true Michelle fashion she throws us with another major plot twist towards the end of the book and I just love this one and how it turned out! I loved all 3 of these books and the beauty of the throuples coming together and owning their individual-ness while also relying on each other for what they need. Read this series!

This book was a little 'meh' for me. Wasn't bad, but wasn't amazing either. It was a little bit too much instalove for my liking. Xaiden is the straight guy who seemingly decides to not only that he is ready for open up to someone again after many many years, but that it will now be with 2 men, after like a week.

A Joyfully Jay review.

Three Souls Who Break is the third book in Michelle Dare’s Three Ties series. I feel it is beneficial to have read what has come before, as the main characters appeared in the previous books and their lives are already intertwined.

This book is deeper on character development, as all three men have deep emotional and psychological baggage. I do like this series showing three men in a relationship being accepted, but I thought this one didn’t really capture how this would work on a day-to-day basis, especially given the developments at the end of the book. I also felt that the overreaching story line from the series wasn’t fully satisfied here.

Read Michelle's review in its entirety here.

I struggle with insta love at the best of times but when it involves three people I really have to wonder?

All three are different, have various experiences and there’s an age-gap. One has a bi-awakening, one was already bi and one is in a RWB sense the first 50 rows of a GaGa kind of gay.

This has a bit of suspense thrown in but it was a bit much with a few instances that just made it unfathomable. And then the kids, which turned out to have a connection to one of them … just too much.

There were aspects I liked of course, and I would like to have seen more of these three together and how they relationship grew.

Amazing end to an amazing series

I fell in love with this series and couldn't wait to read about X, Val, & Doc and how they come together.

There's a lot of past trauma to unpack, and it totally hits you in the feels deep.

Seeing the personal growth between all three men was amazing to watch and see it their relationship blossom.

I liked the guys but the story was meh. I skimmed a lot of it. I did enjoy the last few chapters. Some excitement and a couple tears but overall, the formula of this series was boring and repetitive.

After the initial introduction of the characters, there wasn’t enough development of the attraction/thruple relationship for me to invest. It felt fast and under motivated. I can handle fast given the right chemistry but it didn’t work for me. There was also an element of “everybody’s doing it” (men from the previous books) that didn’t show why these guys chose to be a throuple. That being said, having three really distinctly different men was a great choice.

Ugh, I really need to stop reading this author… Her final act melodrama was so farfetched “but we must have our nice neat pseudo-family” wrapped up —yeah, no!

This book was a good MMM story.
I have to say that I didn't read the first 2 books of the series, so, at first, it wasn't easy trying to remember all the other characters' connections (there are 2 other throuples and the members are very close to one another), but the author made it easier giving hints and little expalnations about their relationships, so the reader can follow the story.

Xaiden, Val and Corbin are all amazing and I really really loved how their relationship grew, how they were supporting of each other, how they were attentive to each other's emotions, how they were each other's strenght during moments of doubt. There are several very romantic moments between them that made this story so beautiful.
The sex scenes are obviously hot but also sweet: they never pushed or rushed the physical part of their relationship, everyone could move at his own pace.

The banter between the other throuples was hilarious and I'm considering reading the other book, but I'm not very fond of the mafia trope, so we'll see.

What prevented me from giving an higher rate:
Val is gay and Corbin is bisexual, so their mutual attraction was obviously justified by their sexuality, even if neither of them has been with another man before.
What I struggled connecting with was Xaiden's attraction towards them: Xaiden was straight, he loved one woman his entire life and he had hookups only with women, so how could he be drawn so fast to Val and Corbin? He kept his heart closed for thirty years and when he was ready to finally love again, he did that with a man. There wasn't internal turmoil or questioning or doubt, he just went for it.
There weren't doubts about the "triad" part of their relationship, they had positive exemples from the throuples around them, so that wasn't the hard part to understand. But Xaiden's new sexuality was left unexplained.

Anyway, I strongly recommend this book, it is a very beautiful love story.

I received a copy of this book from Gay Romance Reviews and this is my honest review

Three Souls Who Break by Michelle Dare is part of her Three Tier series. It is the story of three men who had heartbreak in their pasts and come together to find love. Xaiden Dremest lost his love to murder when he was 18 and never got over it. He went to a dark place and became a fighter and then as the years went by came back home and started a gym where he could help others learn to protect themselves. Val Bowen was only 23 and had grown up being abused in a family that didn’t show him any love, especially when they found out he was gay. He worked as a mechanic as well as for JJ Altier at PJS Industries. Corbin Dove was an emergency room doctor who was going through a divorce that blindsided him, so he moved to get away from his past and now lived and worked in East Dremest. All of them knew JJ, either through being the brother of his partner or working for him and they were invited to his house for a party. They started talking to each other and there was an instant attraction so Xaiden invited them back to his house. He had finally decided to move on and wanted to find people who cared about him and hopefully find love like his brother and friends had. The story continues as they get to know each other, each having setbacks, yet finding what they need and want in each other. I really enjoyed this story. Each of the men appeared to be broken but found the strength to go on and pursue what they wanted. Their personalities were all so different yet they meshed together to provide comfort and love when needed. Xaiden’s family and their friends gathered around them and helped when they could. There was also another story within this one about a young boy and girl who lost their parents to a shooting and how the men helped them, especially when it got tied back to Corbin and Val’s uncle was involved. It was also interesting that Xaiden and Corbin were straight but were able to be together with Val and when they did, their love scenes were hot. You also feel the angst whenever they think about what would happen to them if they ever broke up because they were so in love with each other. I highly recommend this book, especially if you like angsty stories about men who don’t think they can find love because they feel they are broken, yet they are able to find partners who bring out the best in them.

Firstly, let me say I got this book from gay romance reviews, and this is me leaving my honest review.
This is the third book in the three ties series by Michelle Dare and I’ve got a say I was totally hooked with this one. I went through every single emotion and my heart just wanted to break. if I could give each of these men a hug to let them know that they are loved, I would’ve done. They have got trauma from past experiences that still affect them day to day.
Xaiden used to be an underground fighter until somebody saw his potential and turned him professional. He did this because of the pain of losing his girlfriend. He blamed himself when there was nothing he could’ve done about it. When he meets Val at JJs garage, he is instantly attracted to him, but then he’s also attracted to the doctor Corbin, and he wonders if you like his brother, he could have the love of two men.
Val was happy working in the garage. He had the worst upbringing you could possibly have with an abusive father, and when he was asked for help, they just laughed in his face, so he’s guarded, but he feels the attraction when he meets Xaiden. But then he’s also attracted to the good Doctor Who came to save Dominic that time. He himself wonders if he could find happiness with two men.
Corbin is still recovering from a divorce where he lost everything to his ex-wife. so now he saves all his money, lives in a place that has no personality. He too fells the attraction towards Val and Xaiden. He was going to a house party where both men would be there that would anything happen??
There is so much going on in this book and there is heartache. Honestly, it really broke me in places. But what I absolutely adored is how open and genuine these men are towards each other. They may you slightly go downhill, but when the man question them they always tell the truth about what they’re feeling and what they’re struggling with. And then they build them back up. Don’t get me wrong there’s tons of passion in this book. Oh my gosh sometimes it’s just too hot? Is it too hot? I don’t think so this book has everything there’s a running story throughout that will keep you hooked, I just absolutely adore these men. Even after what they have been through individually together, nothing will stop Them.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and I’m so excited for Isle of Ostin!!

Xaiden's, Val's, and Corbin's story touches on a lot of heartbreaking topics: death, abuse (emotional and physical), rejection by a spouse and rejection by family. Because each character has a complicated past a lot is packed into this book and not in a graceful way. I felt some situations that deserved more detail were only glossed over while other situations that didn't really require much detail had a great deal of detail. Like explaining in great detail what a driveway looks like *rolls eyes*. It's hard to explain what I mean without giving spoilers; you'll just have to take my word for it.

I love a good romance/smut novel. HOWEVER, I don't love a novel where the characters are constantly rehashing their love for one another and this book did just that. It felt like every other chapter was just a monologue of their new developed feelings for their partners without really progressing the story further.

My biggest qualm with this book in the series was that, to me, I didn't really feel like it was Xaiden's, Val's, and Corbin's relationship - it felt like Xaiden's and Corbin's relationship and Val was thrown in there sometimes. In the first two books you could feel the connection between all 3 MC's, but that wasn't the case in this one. It seemed like Xaiden and Corbin had this deep connection while Val was there purely to validate them. Again, I can't go into detail without spoiling it, but a lot of the firsts happened between Xaiden and Corbin, while Val was there, but he was second. I also don't like that I constantly forgot that Val was the youngest and Xaiden and Corbin were older because their personalities didn't read that way. Val was portrayed as the confident protector even though he is substantially younger than Xaiden while Xaiden and Corbin were both portrayed as insecure and needed constant reassurance. I'm not saying that a younger partner can't be the protector in a relationship, but it wasn't executed properly in this dynamic.

I recommend reading the book, especially if you've already read books 1 and 2, since it is part of the series, but don't have high hopes (again, just my opinion).

Independent reviewer for GRR, I was gifted my copy of this book.

This is book 3 in the Three Ties trilogy, and I think it would help greatly to read book one; Three Ties To Bind, and book two; Three Hearts on The Line before this one. Not necessary, but I thinkit would help a great deal.

This, for me, is the best of the three and I think it might surprise you why.

In my reviews for books one and two, I said I struggled with the mindless internal rambling that all the guys did in those books. 6 guys, babbling away made for difficult reading and I did contemplate dumping those books. THIS one, however, I did not, at no point, think about dumping. I loved the internal ramblings of Val, Xaiden and Corbin! I really did !

We knew Xaiden suffered a tragic loss a long time agao, and he was still suffering from that, just not how deeply. We didn't know much about Corbin and Val though. All three men have suffered, diffierently, but deeply. All that internal rambling? Tells us all about these men, and how they suffered and their past; how they are now; how they feel about the others and their fears for the future. Both Xaiden and Corbin struggle the most with that.

What I especially loved was that none of these men have been in any sort of relationship with another man. Val knew he was gay, but just hadn't taken the leap. Corbin and Xaiden had relations with women, but meeting the others triggered something for them. I loved the natural progression of their physical relationship as well as the emotional one.

While I did love this book, I think it carries a much more darker tone than the other two books, but they aren't fluffy reads either! Val had a traumatic upbringing, Corbin's ex turns up in a twist I did not see coming, and Xaiden never forgave himself for what happened when he was 18.

As I said, I think this was the best of the three and as such, it can only get:

This book was just ok for me. I read the previous book in this series (which you don't need to, they are interconnected standalone stories) and I liked it enough to try this one, especially because it was listed as a bi awakening MMM romance. Bi-awakening is one of my favorite tropes, but I didn't feel that this book loved up to the tag. There wasn't any of the self discovery or questioning or pining that usually goes with this type of story - honestly, our characters get together with no angst at all. I could almost shelve this as instalove instead for how quickly they get together. It just wasn't quite what I was expecting.

Unfortunately, I also struggled with the writing - the first 2/3 of the book was choppy and chapters/POVs didn't really flow well from one to the next. The descriptions and dialogue were also both somehow too formal and a bit juvenile at the same time, which took me out of the story quite a bit, especially when the characters are supposed to be getting...romantic. The last 1/3 of the book was the strongest part, and included a plot twist I didn't see coming. It felt like the author had written the ending of the book first and then tried to fill in the beginning of the story with only the ending in mind.

I did enjoy the three MMCs and their romantic relationship. Each one had a distinct personality, and a struggle that they were dealing with/brought to the relationship. There was a lot of good communication about the relationship and what each character would need from the others - real adult conversations! Additionally, I liked that the spice was certainly present but not too overwhelming, and that it grew gradually. We didn't jump into anything full force at once.

Overall, I think the previous book (3 hearts on the line) was a better read than this one, so I would start there.

********** Contains Spoilers**********

I’m pretty new to Michelle Dare’s work as I’ve only read her Isle of Ostin Series, which I really enjoyed so I have no doubt that I’ll throughly enjoy this series as well. I thought this was a good addition to the Three Ties Series. This was a quick and enjoyable read. I liked how the relationship between Corbin, Xaiden and Val progressed, it felt natural. Even though Xaiden believed he was straight his whole life he didn’t completely freak out (could’ve been off page) he actually thought things through and spoke to Corbin about what he feels and then had a few days away since he’d already opened up after losing his high school sweetheart to a senseless act of violence when they were only 18 years old, and lost himself for three years in underground fighting. He was already raw from that so his feelings would’ve been hard for him not just because they’re men but that they’re the first people he’s allowed that close to him since her death.

I thought the chemistry between Corbin, Xaiden and Val was off the charts, as well as hot as hell. This book was a lot more angsty than the previous two books which I’m not upset about as both Xaiden and Val have their own emotional baggage to deal with. I loved seeing Xaiden’s parents welcome Corbin and Val into their family with open arms which Val absolutely needs since his family never deserved him, his father was an abusive piece of sh*t and his uncle, who was a cop laughed in his face when he told him about the abuse his father was dishing out and told him that he deserved it because he’s gay but he was a lot more crass about it, the homophobic f*ck. I’m really looking forward to reading the final novella of this series next, as well as more books from Michelle Dare in the future. I’d recommend this book, series and author to others.

I thought I'd love the men in the prior books but this one got my heart strings. I love Xaiden, Val and Corbin!! All of them had events happen in their past, some tragic. We know Xaiden's past from the prior book. How he lost Sasha, his high school girlfriend. How devastated he was and lost himself in underground fighting. When his father gave him the gym to teach others how to defend themselves, he went away from fighting. However, he still wasn't himself until he met Val and Corbin. He has never been with men. Will they be what he needed all along?

Val came from a tortured past. Coming out to your parents only to have them beat and shun you is not a way to live. Even his uncle, who was a cop, shunned him. He met JJ when he went into a bad crowd and wanted him to steal a car on JJ's lot. JJ took him in and Val became a mechanic. When he saw Xaiden and Corbin at Dom's party at the club, he was taken aback. Two hot men, one with the Dremest name and the other a doctor. How will he fit in their lives when they are 20 years older and have wealth, while he is just a mechanic?

Corbin had a love in his life until she wanted a divorce and wanted all of his money. His wife told him that he was horrible in bed and he has never gotten over how she left him. He has been a doctor that cared for everyone else but when it comes to himself, he feels inferior. When he meets Val then Xaiden, he becomes shy but wants them both. He hasn't been with anyone since his divorce and wants to feel loved. Will these two men make him feel that way?

Three ties to bind. Three hearts on the line. Three souls who break trying to ease their ache. Three books with some very hot men. Make sure to have tissues ready, the ending will have you tearing up like it did me.

Three Souls Who Break is the third book in the Three Ties series and what a great title for this book. Val, Corbin and Xaiden have all been through things in their lives that no one should go through. Val, the man who had a rough childhood; Xaiden, who lost the love of his life way too early in life; and Corbin the softy of the three who was married before and has realized he's never really had true love. All three of them have that perfect mix of soft and hard that give them the chemistry needed to have a perfect and lasting relationship.

Dare has this way of bringing characters together to give the reader a realistic view of their lives. No matter what the characters have been through, there is always a chance that something could happen to break their spirits and pull them apart, but Val, Corbin, and Xaiden don't give up on each other and that's what made this story so beautiful. They help each other to get over their pasts through love and compassion. They're the support system for each other, yet they have the support of their friends and family as well to get them through.

This story is special and I will say of the three books this was my favorite. Sometimes, I wanted to wrap Xaiden up in my arms and hug him tight. The scene in the book, when he told how Sasha died, was truly one of the best parts of the book because you could feel the emotions Xaiden was feeling. What I liked most about this book though was the author gave us nibbles throughout the story of different characters that could cause havoc but the person that did was definitely a surprise. All I can say is I'm glad they found what they were looking for in the end.

I would highly recommend this story and this author to all readers. I look forward to reading more of her books in the future.

Once again what else can I say!!! This series and this world is absolutely amazing and I love everything that I’ve read. The spicy scenes are fantastic and hot, but the real love comes from everything else that these characters have been through and the bonds that they are creating. The support that these characters give each other is everything. Yes they have fears and worries but none of the characters ever let that tear them apart! They continue to work through the hardships and make their relationship stronger. I love that we get to know more of Val and Xaidens back story in this book, and even Corbin and how he supports his men even though he hasn’t experienced half the shit that Val and Xaiden have. I especially love that we get to see the first meeting between JJ, Val and ruined and relinquished. It makes my heart happy especially knowing how things continue with them considering that I have already read that series. And while we get to see a lot of and know a lot about Cody and Olivia’s past in the ruined and relinquished series, the “introduction” or real event of it happening in this book just makes me feel for them even more than I already did! Yet they become a part of the family and extended family and I love that and the bonds that both of them get to create because of it! I cannot wait to continue reading this series but I am going to be so sad when there are no more books to read because to me these books are just perfection!!!

“Three Souls To Break” is the third book in the “Tree Ties” series. While its not strictly necessary to read the books before this (i have not). I totally recommend it to anyone who plans to read this. Personally for me the start of the book really killed my mood to read it. The author started with an -what i would call- introductory chapter for each character, which were not really intertwine and had just way to much information and names (most of what one would know if u read the first two books) which i had absolutely no chance of remembering. Additionally the stile from this part was very fast paced. What bothered me as that it didn’t seem unusual to be in a three way relationship. Mainly because of the “couples” from the previous book. Maybe its a misconception on my side, but in my mind three way relationships are very rare, so i found it odd that it kinda seemed to be an everyday occurrence.
Lastly the author really “shipped” this three from the beginning. Of course its pretty obvious to the reader who will come together in most books, but usually its made in a way i would describe as more subtle. Here they were put together in a pretty forceful and obvious way.
For me it got better at around 20%. If you manage to reach that point, you’ll get a well written book about three men who all have emotional baggage to overcome.

I truly believe this is one of the authors I could call a "bartender of souls" - your favourite bartender can deliver the best cocktail; you are loving the cosy and inviting atmosphere at your favourite place and the security blanket of casual familiarity,so you are visiting your bar again and again. It's the same with authors who never fail to deliver a heady, irresistible flavour of what you love to read; who draw you in with the emotional touch of their writing; whose masterful, heartfelt descriptions make you want to stay and live between the pages of a book. Michelle Dare has made it again as a "bartender of souls" - wonderfully balanced cocktail of plot, captivating complexity of the characters and a splash of angst. I got a front row seat watching three wounded souls intertwine together and find a new path, a chance to build a new life, this time not alone but together.
In normal circumstances and in the real world Val, Corbin and Xaiden might have never met but here in Dremest, in their skilfully written fairy tale, dreams come true.
The book covers some of the favourite readers' tropes - hurt/comfort, double bi awakening, virgin MC, found family. And even though there are cameos of the characters from the previous books, it can be enjoyed as a standalone.

Not to be dramatic but I am devastated that this series is over 😭😭😭 I don’t remember the last time I was so enthralled by and binged a series like I did this one.

I think this one might be my favorite out of the 3, although I loved each one, they just kept getting better and this book was the absolute perfect ending!!!

Corbin, Val, and Xaiden were so different from each other yet fit together so perfectly, each bringing something unique to the relationship. I loved the vulnerability we got from Xaiden and Corbin and the snark and banter we got from Val. They each had such tough pasts but built something so special together.

The twist in this book got me way harder than every other book. I did NOT see that coming! The added element of suspense where Dare made me think one thing was going to be the focal point of conflict but it was really another. Such fantastic writing!

I shed some tears at the end of this story. It made me so happy to see these three get their happy ending, as well as the kids! I have loved reading this series and I’m so sad to be letting all these characters and their world go!!

Three angsty men: a match made in heaven?☁

3-3.5🌟 stars
I guess I just did not connect with the main characters and I had to push myself to get to the end of this story about three troubled men who find solace and steamy times in a thruple. It struck me as pretty one note (please, comfort me) through most of the book, though I did like the excitement, action and danger aspects near the end.

I did not read the two preceding books in the series and found the number of characters, many of whom were obviously introduced and key in the previous stories, somewhat daunting and confusing.

It was a good move by the author to have Val, Corbin and Xaiden come from such different backgrounds, each with its own challenges. And I felt sympathy and gladness for them that they found contentment together and wanted to help others like teenage orphans Cody and Olivia. It just was not a story that held me in its thrall.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

“So… the three of us? There’s something in the water. That’s the only way I can explain it”.
Xaiden, Val and Corbin; three men completely different but yet essential to one another. Each one caring a lot of trauma from their past, different trauma, dealing with it, or maybe not, each on their own way. This is a beautifully written story, an emotional one and I was overwhelmed with it in a good way. They enter each other’s lives and try to navigate through all their feelings, trying to live again and find their happily ever after. Three souls who break because they need to pick up those broken pieces and put them back, together. There’s something in the water, there’s healthy smoothies, jackfruit, many heart breaking moments, a bi-awakening, an age gap, Dana’s cooking, family who care, family who doesn’t, found family, an unexpected mini concert and a brilliant twist in the plot.
This is the third book in the “Three Ties” series that could be read as a standalone but I suggest you start from the first book because it’s so much worth it…

This is the third book in the Three Ties series and is as good as the other two. The nine men who find love in these three books show up throughout the series, and they get to feel like old friends.

Xaiden, Corbin and Val all have their own pasts which make it difficult for them to believe they are capable of loving and being loved, but each of the three realize the pull toward the other two and find the courage to take the chance to find what has been missing in their lives. The love and support of the other two throuples gives them encouragement and support as they find their way through the beginning stages of the relationship. The love and care they have for each other is able to expand to include others who need them as unexpected situations unfold, strengthening the forever bond between them.

Another beautiful, inspirational book with memorable characters to complete the series,.

Heartbreakingly sweet!

I’ve loved this series since book one and I love how Dare writes with so much emotion and sweetness at the same time. These three shouldn’t work…different backgrounds, the age gap, personalities…but somehow they do and it’s good, so good!

Xaiden’s past with Sasha was heartbreaking to hear and the pain and anguish he put himself thru for years because of it…ugh!! I wanted to join Corbin and Val and just hug the sh!t out of him so hard!

I absolutely adored the soft sweetness of Corbin and how he rounded out the edges of Val’s and Xaiden’s pain and made them whole. He didn’t let his past keep him from finding love again.

And Val…he was such a rough and tumble guy with a hard youth but made the most of it when given the opportunity to achieve more and better.

These 3 came together to find that forever love that they longed for and their pieces fit together so perfectly. I loved seeing how their family came together thru hardships and thru love.

MMM. Hurt/comfort. Found family. Significant age gap. Two being older MC’s. Bi-Awakening for 1, and several first time activities for sure. I was practically jumping up and down, when I realized where this was going. Definitely a first time for me, reading a MMM romance quite like this.

This is book 3 in the Three ties series, and seriously this series has been absolutely amazing. I have enjoyed all three immensely, but i especially adored this book. Everything tied in so beautifully.

Each of the 3 MC’s had their issues to overcome, which was handled in the book perfectly. There were moments of sadness, intrigue, drama, relief, love, steam, and high emotions. It all came together superbly. Read the TW.

And, the last chapter and the epilogue brought out all the feels for me. Everything I needed. Highly recommend.

Learning what really matters! Val is fiercely independent. He speaks his mind, then thinks. Xaiden Dremest is one of the town's original families. Heck, the town is named after his family. Everyone called him X. Val, refused to earning Xaiden's interest and respect. Corbin, is an ER Doc who works too much. He is divorced, blindsided by his ex wife and financially poorer due to her good lawyer. Alone, these men were relatively content with their lives while understanding their potential lonliness. Together, they find an inner openness about what they wanted in life. Nice journey of self discovery, priorities, self-love/self-care, decisions and freeing their minds. Great story, mysteries, adventures and unexpected action. Great characters, fantastic family and found family. Well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

X + Val + Corbin = ❤️

4.5 Stars ⭐️

Awwww, this one just made my heart happy ❤️ I adored the hurt/comfort vibe in this story, each one of these men was equally broken and it took all three together to heal that pain. I felt like each man gave exactly what was needed to the other individually and together in this relationship. There was no jealously, no competition, just a unexplained pull to comfort and eventually love one another. The addition of one element which (I will not spoil) complimented and completed this story was.... a chef's kiss 💋 This read was just another example of the passion filled and heartfelt universe that Michelle Dare has created with this series. I highly recommend this book and all of the others in this series for that matter, X and his men were so freaking lovable.

* I received an ARC from GRR, this is my open and honest review *
