Sinner's Bay #2

These Sinful Nights

Rate this book
What happens when you steal from the devil himself? He comes looking for payback in the form of your heart, body and soul.

I may be on the straight and narrow now but my past was anything but the picture perfect good girl and when I am left with no choice but to return to my bad ways to help pull the family out of debt, I do it in style.

Little did I know I would end up committing myself and my best friend to the devil himself; Dante Mendez and his brother to pay back the debt and in the process I would end up falling into a world that isn't what it seems.

Add to that an old flame who suddenly wants to make himself the hero of my story and feelings expressed from my best friend that I never imagined, my entire world is turned upside down.

Caught amongst a Cartel war that spares no prisoners, I might finally get to have my own happily ever after if I'm willing to submit my heart into the keeping of these dangerous men....

* These Sinful Nights is a why choose/reverse harem Mafia romance where the heroine doesn't have to choose between her love interests.

It is a standalone within the Sinners Bay series and has a HEA for these characters but is interconnected with the other books and best enjoyed in order, though not necessary.

I liked her. She is sassy, confident and passionate. The perfect match for the men.

They‘re very different but as a whole they fit perfectly as partners for Serena. I liked them although it felt forced that Liam got involved with them too.

Similar to the first book in this series this is brainless smut and you can read it to have a good time. It‘s no literary masterpiece and I think I wouldn‘t read it if I‘m not in the mood for reverse harem smut. It is entertaining and the dynamic between Serena and her men is interesting to read.
The writing style needs improvement because it is not very smooth and there are some errors throughout the book. It‘s not bad but it‘s not a good writing style either.
I like the mafia setting and the fact that the men are dangerous and possessive. BUT this whole mafia vibe should have been portrayed better. When Serena is around all of the men turn to little puppies with heart eyes and we don‘t get much of the dangerous men. The whole vibe is more fluff then thrill and I think it would be better if it‘s more of a darkromance.
Still this is an entertaining and quick read and I had a fun time with this story. Exactly what I was in the mood for although it is not a perfect book.

𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤?
Yes. Only if you‘re in the mood for brainless smut and why choose. Don‘t read it if you expect a very well written book.

I thought the Madden family was the hottest of the hot but the Mendez family is giving them some serious competition in this book. Sierra Turner and her family are in some deep debt forcing them to do what they do best. Steal a car and sell it for parts. Sierra has her sights sets on a mark until Dante Mendez stakes his claim again. To get back at him, she steals his car handing Dante just what he needs to make her his.

We are still dealing with the Redvue company. Trying to figure out who is behind them. Sierra and her computer-whiz friend, Theo Cromwell, now have to "work" for the Mendez family to pay back the debt of the stolen car. Theo has been a family friend of the Turner family. Sierra has always liked Theo that way but he was not into women, or so she thought. Dante and his brother, Alejandro, wanted more from both of them. Sierra went willing to the brothers. The chemistry was already off the chain. There is no way either of them could fight the attraction. The Mendez brothers make it known to Sierra from the start that they want it all with her.

This family gets created in this book and I loved that aspect of it. We got to see how the love of one woman brought four men together that were not connected beforehand. Theo definitely took a minute to accept that this was happening. He had the best of both worlds, Sierra and Alejandro. Sierra also had an ex-boyfriend, Liam Walker. Liam is a cop and did what he could to keep the Turners out of trouble until he had to arrest Sierra. Sierra has never forgave him. Will she let go and let him into the family they are creating?

Crazy eyes, skull tattoos, ex lover cop, and a gay best friend

They all walk into a bar. What do you get? A found family for Serena. Maybe a few threats, some wild smutty scenes, some sad times, a possible kidnapping or two, lots of laughs, some serious things, and more. This is a definite must read.

“Don’t judge a book or a man by his cover. When we love, we love hard and with our entire being. When we want something, we are relentless in our pursuit until we have it. We cherish, we protect, and we devour. Remember that next time your mind labels us as players.” 🖤

This is book two in the Sinner’s Bay series. They can be read as a series or stand alone, However they are interconnected. This is Serena’s story. 🖤

Theo is Bi and his father hates him for it. He’s known Serena since they were in school and liked her since then but he knows she just views him as her gay friend.

Whee wen Serena needs to get money for her family, she steals a car from Dante, part of the mafia. He doesn’t get mad, but he does decide he wants her. He gives her a job and funds care for her father.

Alejandro is Dante’s brother. When Theo and Serena move into his house to work for the family he finds he has feelings for them both.

This is an amazing RH novel and I loved this one more than the first. On to the third, and asp there’s a Halloween novella as well!!! 😍

This is book two in the Sinner’s Bay series. They can be read as a series or stand alone, However they are interconnected. This is Serena’s story. These Sinful Nights is the perfect title for a book that is absolutely sinful in every way.

This is another excellent why choose story in the series that has the reader hanging on tight for another wild ride. Serena causes quite a stir when she does something she shouldn't and that has Alejandro, Dante, Theo and Liam all making her pay for her mistake.

Elizabeth does it again! Perfect balance of suspense, humor and spice! Cannot wait for what she does next.

Serena’s story was full of hope, held some sadness, and showed how the love of chosen family can withstand anything.

I loved the brother aspect and add in best friend to lovers.. Love it! I was pleasantly surprised by the enemies to lovers too. Serena had it all in her group of men and she handled it all like a boss.
The spice is definitely high in this book and frequent!

I flew through this book. I would have loved to get a little more with this group but maybe that’s just because I loved all the characters. I do enjoy that this is a standalone in an inter connected series. No worries of emotionally devastating cliffhangers.

The hints of books to come is awesome and catching up on the previous characters is a great bonus as well!

Serena’s story was just as amazing as Elsie’s story! I loved all the characters and their bond together.

Dante was absolutely adorable and so damn sweet! He would literally burn the world for Serena🥹. He may be a bit psycho but ain’t we all!🥰

Alejandro was very much the leader and I loved how he was with Theo making him feel safe and helping him overcome everything he was told by his father!

I love Serena and Liam together! They had a few things to mend at the start but once they did they fit together so well!

Theo broke my heart throughout the book 😩! The damage his father caused him shows how much words can impact people especially coming from a parent or a family member. I’m so happy he had Serena’s father there for him🥰

I also loved how accepting Serena’s family was about their relationship ( not including that one scene with a certain brother) but especially her father🥺

Overall the book was just as great as the first and I would definitely recommend it!!🖤🖤

Great continuation of the series. I love how the books link up. This one had a lot going on. The Mendez brothers owned a dance club. Serena and her brothers were living with their dying father. They were in a lot of debt because their dad’s medical bills. So she went into the dance club to lift someone’s keys to get money for the car. She ended up taking Dante’s car and that is how this all started. She had to pay off her debt and they worked out the arrangements. She worked it off by going over their books. There were a lot of amazing characters in this book. I love them all. This is a great book and I highly recommend it. So much happened in the book so I don’t want to ruin it. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Review;
Serena is going through a shit storm of bad things all through this book but her men always try and keep her grounded and safe. Serena is a strong, sassy fmc and she has her guys on their knees, literally!
Dante, El Diablo, tuff exterior with a soft inside! My favorite princess, iykyk
Alejandro, the boss man, he loves like his life depends on it!
Liam, he messed up big time when they were younger but he stepped up his games!
And sweet Theo, the shit his father outed him through just because he didn’t like Theo’s life choices is so wrong. Theo came out as gay but later struggled with his sexuality because of his feelings for Serena but he got all the support and love that he needed from Serena and the guys!
Don’t get me started on Alejandro and theo’s love 😩🥵😮‍💨 the MM mixed with the group was wow!

The love I have for this group as well is huge!! They as well as the Maddens deserve the world!!

DNF. I just can’t do it. It’s basically the same plot as the first book but not enjoyable.

I don’t think I’ve ever cringed so much reading sex scenes. Dante and Alejandro are two Mexican cartel brothers. They were in the first book and Dante was written about as he’s gazed at ELSIE NOT SERENA!! So this book starts as Serena who has come home to look after her dying father, discovers that his garage is massively failing and they’ll lose everything as they’re in so much debt. So Serena decides to do what she did years ago, and steal someone’s car and sell the body parts. Erm okay…. For whatever reason she doesn’t like how Dante can turn her on so she steals his Maserati and has it chopped up and sold before he can get there. SERENA STEALS A MEXICAN CARTEL LEADERS MASERATI AND HE LAUGHS!!! Oh come on! 😡😡😡 Wouldn’t happen!! He laughs because he’s always wanted Serena and this is his way to get what he wants. Except for one thing. DANTE WANTED ELSIE NOT SERENA!! He showed zero interest in Serena.

Moving on. Serena’s best friend Theo is gay, and she’s always wanted him but he had no interest being with a woman. Till he decides all of a sudden that he likes women as well and desperately wants Serena. 😂😂😡😡 This plot is insane!! Of course Alejandro is bisexual as well so everyone is happy. I’m not! I didn’t feel a great romance with any of them. Serena and Theo had become friends and she didn’t see him in a sexual way anymore, then there’s Dante who was half in love with Elsie in the last book. So it was really cringy for them to all be having sex.

Sorry but there’s no plot and there so much sex that it might as well be porn. It’s not sexy at all. I couldn’t stand Serena either. She goes into a nightclub to steal someone’s car, and she thinks they can afford it and the people are all dodgy. Oh well that’s okay then!!! Not!!

"don't judge a book or a man by his cover. When we love, we love hard and with our entire being. When we want something we are relentless in our pursuit until we have it. We cherish, we protect and we devour. Remember that the next time your mind labels us as players."

Elizabeth's books just keep getting better and better, the fucking ride that they take you on. Is out of this world. Her writing is truly phenomenal and I just can't get enough of it. Just like book one was I started I just couldn't put it down. That boy sucker punched me in the throat. It's action packed with spice, humour, suspense and so much more. The twists, the characters, the storyline and plot where top notch.

In this story we get to follow the journey of Serena, Alejandro, Dante , Theo and Liam. And what a beautiful dark story it was.

Serena is going through alot, her and her family are in big debt and they need money, so she steals a car but not just anybodys car, she steals Dante's car and is in big trouble with him. He decides she will work for him to pay off her debt. All of them are attracted to each other and the chemistry is off the charts. They are the perfect blended family. But life is no fairytale and shit happens that set off a chain of epicness. A very gritting story.

I fell in love with these guys aswell. I just love the characters, Elizabeth creates. My heart broke for Theo and everything he went through with his father. But I'm so glad he had the support off Serena and the guys. It's a must read I'm telling you. You need this series in your life. I can't wait to read the next lot in this series. Highly recommend.

These Sinful Nights - Elizabeth Bardot

This is book 2 in the Sinners Bay stand-alone interlocking series!

Our stubborn badass FMC Serena who is the best friend of Elsie from book 1 in the series. Serena and her brothers have a bet who can steal the best car for the chop shop.
Being the crazy girl she is…she chooses one of the heads of the Mexican Cartel to boost her car from.

This is a MMFMM so let’s introduce our sinful men:
🖤Alejandro: leader and oldest brother
🖤Dante: the love sick psycho and brother of Al
🖤Theo: childhood best friend, tech guru, and year long closet crusher.
🖤Liam: the high school sweetheart, who broke her heart. Who is now a cop and in the pocket of the Mexican Cartel.

Serena must pay her debt to the brother after stealing their high end sports car, along with Theo who does great tech work who helps cover her trail.

With some forced proximity and some push and pull and bumps along the way see with this band of 5 misfits has in-store. Be ready for giggles with a side of tears!

Plot: 5/5
Spice: 5/5

Thank you Elizabeth for allowing me the honor to read and review more of the Sinner Bay families. I can’t wait for book 3!

So, while this is a standalone, it’s hard to know what is happening in the background without the first book. We already met the Mendez brothers and Serena from the first book so I was very excited to see where their story was going to take them because their chemistry was already sizzling. I love that this RH moves along quickly without a lot of angst. In the harem is both Mendez brothers, who are honestly pretty soft for mafia men (there is some mafia elements but this isn’t a very dark book) immediately are Serena’s ride or die. Then we add Theo, her childhood friend who adds the reverse bi-awakening element (which I loved Theos whole story arc). Finally, Liam, her ex boyfriend also reappears in her life which add the second chance romance element. All of this combined sets up this for a super spicy harem. This is where I am a tad disappointed that we didn't get any group scenes or more group interactions with them as a whole. We got lot of individual scenes or scenes in pairs which helped the story line but I was left wanting more. Similar to the first book, this isn’t a super deep novel but a great read for anyone looking to get sucked into a world without heartbreak.

Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better than Book 1, These Sinful Nights, Book 2 proved me wrong. If you read Book 1, as these can be read as Standalones, then you already met Serena, who is Elise’s friend, and also the Mendez Brothers (Alejandro, and Dante) who despite being in the mafia, are all about family. When I was reading Book 1, I was hoping to get to read Serena’s story. We get to meet Liam, Serena’s ex who is trying to make things right, and Theo, her childhood friend who has daddy issues and is questioning his sexuality because of feelings. I loved the chemistry and dynamics between these characters. This book is action packed, full of angst, very spicey, and like book 1 is going on my re-read list! I can’t wait to see what comes next in Book 3!

As always be mindful of any trigger warnings, what I like you may not.

Happy Reading!

This book was good but it was all over the place. There were some chapters that had me feeling giddy and you can tell they all care about eachother. The way Dante briefly interacted with Theo and Liam a time or two had me confused about the way he views them. The book started good then when they all got together it felt like nonstop smut. When that wasn’t going on random event after random event happened. It just felt out of place cause so much just happened out of nowhere. I was sitting there like ‘what’ and then just being like ‘ok whats next.’

Big Spoiler:
Ethan and Lucas steal from the Rodriguez brothers, Lucas fights with Serena and Ethan, she finds out he’s on drugs, Pa stopped breathing, the four men want to marry Serena, they want to get her pregnant, Lucas is missing, Pa has a heart attack, they have his funeral, then Serena gets taken! Like what?!

Okay but not as good as good as the first book

This book was good, but not as good as the first one I don't know. It was kind of watered down, it didn't answer a lot of questions. I thought for sure it would at least show whether or not she was pregnant. She never visited the clinic. I'm not sure if it's gonna be in the third book or not. But this one just wasn't as good to me. As the first book was, it didn't have as much of the action or the suspense as the first book did. For me and I didn't, I just didn't feel the, I don't know passion that she wrote the first book. But that's just my opinion. Still, a very good read if you liked dinner vipers, you will like all of these so far books, 1 and 2 cuz. They're kind of sitting that type of world still a good book like I said but for me, not as good as the first one onto book 3

Again, another great why choose. Immediately obsessed with each man.. I can’t choose one either. I loved the story line and enjoyed that it’s interconnected with the first book! I like getting to see what’s happening with everyone from the first book. I do feel like everything happened a little fast, you know what’s going to happen you kind of expect it, but there’s not really much of a fight before they all become an item. I would have liked more of a hard to get with each character, just lasted for like a page and then she gives in. I like the series so far and am excited for the next two books!

This book was cute I liked that it’s wasn’t as focused on the bloody aspect of the mafia, and so I was able to enjoy it more, I loved their relationship dynamic, however one thing that kind of threw me off was Liam coming into the mix I feel like it was was better before, because we barely got scenes with them together just enjoying each other’s company and so we didn’t really get to see how they are with each other, all the talk of when they were together was when they were younger so I feel like we did not get to really see the grownup version of him and for me that was dealbreaker. However I was still able to enjoy the book.

Final rating (3.5/5)

The Sinners Bay Series by Beth Evans continues with These Sinful Nights, which explores the lives of Serena, Liam, Theo, and the Mendez brothers, leaders of the Mexican Cartel. Liam, Selena's ex-boyfriend, and Theo, her best friend, are integral to the narrative. The family is facing financial difficulties due to Selena's father's cancer treatment and the substantial medical bills, which have affected Vinny's repair shop, formerly a chop shop. Selena's choice will have significant repercussions throughout the story.

This engaging and skillfully crafted novel is enjoyable and spicy, making it a highly recommended read for adult readers 18 and older.

She knew she was going to get caught which just makes her not smart and reckless. One of the guys cheated on her years ago and she takes him back which mad me mad there is no excuse for cheating and she should not have given him a second chance. It would be nice if just one of her books the heroine was not intentionally trying to get pregnant. All the heroines from this author seem to be older women who want a baby and it got boring after the first book. It would be nice to read a younger heroine who is not so baby crazy.

I struggled to feel like the characters were connecting, other than being told that they were. The book said they were becoming a family, but I didn't feel it happening, it just did. While I understand the second chance trope, I feel like Liam was thrown in there as a plot point and it didn't really make sense. The book felt rushed for the story, like too many things were trying to be included in a short amount of time. I feel like it's one thing to have ideas, but they have to be able to be fleshed out to make it work.

These Sinful Nights is the story of Serena and her men, Dante, Alejandro, Theo, and Liam. This MMFMM why choose romance is hot, hot, hot. Who doesn’t love a good why choose with a side of mafia and family angst? This story was amazing. It has fantastic characters, and did I mention it’s hot.

The Sinner’s Bay series has interconnected characters, and each can be read as a standalone story. I read Book 3 first and it did not detract from my enjoyment of book 2. I recommend entering this world of characters. You will not be disappointed.

Loving this Mafia Series!!

This is book 2 in this Bay Sinner’s Series and it features the Mendez Cartel, plus a cop and a best friend.  When you throw in Serena to the mix, it’s one hot explosive family.  Just like in book 1 the storyline is on point and the heat is turned up to max. I loved watching the development of everyone’s relationship not only with Serena, but between each other.  I also loved seeing glimpses of the Maddon family as I still miss them and want more of them too!

First of all, I LOVE the fact that these characters are not teenagers! They are all I think 29-mid 30s if I am guessing correctly. I also love that Elsie and her pack from book 1 pop in and out throughout this book. Okay, back to this one.

I already knew Dante and Alejandro would be obsessed with Serena and they did NOT disappoint!

"Love is both pain and pleasure. You never know if you will fall or fly until you take that leap. Trust us to catch you."

Adding Theo and Liam was just putting in that something extra special. On to book 3!!

Great but the editing...

I don't like to nitpick on editing and grammar in books, but this author is the worst at it. This is the third book I have read by the author and on at least every other page there is a misused word, an omitted word, a run on sentence, even the MAIN CHARACTER'S NAME spelled wrong (in the first Sinner's Bay I saw a lot of Delcan instead of Declan). I would love to be an editor even for free! To me, this level of editing is just distracting. I still love the books, though, and will continue reading them. Please hire an editor!

If you have any triggers, you may want to really read the disclaimer.

This was a new author for me. I am hooked now.

Serrena just wanted to take care of her dad with the remaining time he had left and run the business he was leaving to them. But there was money problems So Serena and her brothers did what they do best, steal a car. But instead of a regular car, she stole from the head of the Cartel. Now he wants to make her his. Along with a few others.

Great spicy read.

I loved this book! The characters from the 1st book are in here as well. I fell in love with Serena & her guys, this is an RH. And I loved it just like I loved the 1st book! The guys treat her like a queen & they all work together to make her happy! Of course, the spice is awesome! Highly recommend this series & author!
